major downside of Badur is its speed , this is significant disadvantage for a missile.. tomahawks for example..used in iraq war by US were so slow traveling in land..that could have been very possible to shot down them using regular anti air machine guns. you cant do that againts supersonic even less subsonic missiles that Russian_India have. Still is good to see Pakistan making its own missiles.. a Rain of babur missiles however is a different story.. buts thats the same for others as well.

Good analysis,, I agree both the missiles have capabilities of their own, but u sh0uld consider that what even if BrahMos is detected by radar, and other infrared devices due to its high altitude flying and large IR signature respectively. \with wat anti missile or weapon one would intercept at such high velocity. But high velocity doen't always mean its un interceptable..... If a missile is chasing another missile thats when velocity matters how ever in a head on interception case u just need to lock a huge IR signature....

a point to ponder: Ir missiles like AIM series of US are way above mach 4 so well speed doesn't actually make that much of a difference and ballistic missiles are even faster than brahmos..
