  • Get over it Kasich won.

  • @dvferyance Yeah he won and now look at the consequences smh

  • it is going to happen sooner or later with or with out Kasich, you are broke in Ohio and it will get worse, this will be a third world country sooner or later.

  • Wow this guy appears to be a real hate-mongering horse's arse.

  • i hope you keep your union, we are taking your jobs here in the southwest , if you continue as you are we will ruin you, so no need for pubic workers, we have lots of work come on down.

  • The state has been ruined by the previous governor Taft. coddling big businesses, removing all taxes from businesses while subsidizing them. Our state was sold out by Republicans who do not have "family values" but less morals than a salivating banker with an old lady on the edge of foreclosure.

  • I am so happy to see this action. After spending three months in Columbus in late 2008, I was very worried about the direction of the state. People I met just don't vote - they don't want to rock the boat. They need to ROCK THE VOTE! Actions like this will encourage some of those timid souls.

  • There are over 600,000 people who are unemployed in Ohio, and 15 million people who are unemployed nationally. Many of them are in the job search of their lives. Governor Strickland put too much focus on running negative ads and lost to a former Lehman Brothers banker in an environment where Wall Street banks are massively unpopular. Working people and students need to be active participants in the struggle for greater democracy and equality in this country. Yay! the young and old alike here!

  • Wow! What a bunch of fear-mongering socialists. All with their hands out. I bet half these losers are living in their parents' basements. Take a bath and get a job!

  • @revolutionUSA2009 A) historically, democratic socialists in Ohio have NEVER been "fear-mongering" as you charge; B) though there were many bright and active students in attendance, most are suffering from the cuts in funding to education and raised fees and the removal of the promise of a first job; C) i don't think baths (which are most costly than showers) are a reasonable and effective solution towards addressing the lack of jobs in the state as caused by successive neoliberal regimes.

  • @revolutionUSA2009 in China or India?

  • @revolutionUSA2009 Or they're public servants like nurses and firefighters who are now about to lose their benefits along with a respectable pay that they had to get a higher education to even attain in the first place. Do you really believe professional firefighters should risk their lives for the same pay as some 15-year-old ringing the cash-register at McDonald's? That seems more like Socialism than unions fighting for wages and benefits the employees deserve. Do you really believe that a

  • @revolutionUSA2009 firefighter's family should not be taken care of with his/her benefits if they die in the line of duty? You really believe that the firefighter should be denied health insurance when he/she is 50% more likely to develop cancers than the average citizen due to the toxic environments they expose themselves to in every working fire? Seriously? Stop parroting your parents on the Internet and actually do some research as to what Kasich's great ideas are and who they're affecting.
