we have NO places to practise drifting... such as racing-tracks.. lol the only accessable racetrack is the 'ring, but meh, do you really wanna practise there? lol hF, fuckin yer car up.

and if you wanna try to make ONE short black line - the police comes up, you'll get a point or two, and a 100€-fine...

i mean, i do like german cars, and i do like the autobahn, but its just nothing special to me..

drifting is more of an exhibition than a sport.... actual racing is a real sport, and will outlive this drifting fad... but that doesnt mean i dont respect drifters. it takes skill. lots of it

i would have to dissagree. I believe drifting will still maintain a high level interest. Even if it does die down out of the mainstream, there will still be a fan base.

Drifting has been around decades before all the movies and hype came up. And was still such a popular sport. The only difference being is that alot of the general public didnt know about it.

you can't really compare that so easy. For stylish drifting you need maximum concentration. Racing needs a very high level of concentration over a long time. For a driver with great carcontrol this is the differece. A good driver can do both "easily". He just needs practice!

This has been my dream since i first saw drifting as a sport 7 or 8 years ago....i was 10 years old, but living in the UK it was difficult (and still is difficult now) to explain the culture behind it all

drifting isnt just about going sideway & 'being cool'.......its a lifestyle, u wake up every morning wanting to go straight out with friends to go and drift,
