very interesting, from the traveling flower B, to the Reggae. Existed all the time any union into the rock and reggae, i do not mean only classic rock, in the heavy can see covers like a Loui Loui Richard Berry (1957), The Kingsmen or Paul Revere, and The Kinks until The Clash and Motorhead, but we also see for example the cover of the Toot and Maytals, here we back to reggae. Very good contribution, I download their discography
joe yamanaka was a bad ass reggae singer when he joined with the wailers .. does any one know how i can get a hold of that cd with joe and the wailers ... i cant find that anywhere or find it online to buy ... rip joe yamanaka
@csmcginn of course it goes without saying that Joe Yamanaka, or anyone else, could not come close to replacing Bob, but he was a great singer nonetheless, and does a pretty good job here...I'm going to have to check out some of these wailers performances he did, but I love his work with flower travellin' band
After the death of Marley, Japanese singer Joe Yamanaka, a close friend of Marleys became the lead singer for The Wailers until 1986 when Joe began to become involved in charity and aid work. They released three albums titled Reggae Vibration.
