Hello Chapelrock, watched your video and loved it. It brought back great memories from 2 holidays in Perranporth in 1981 and 82. What a fantastic place, spent many nights in the Green Parrot Pub.

best beach ever! just got back from holiday in newquay cornwall, but i spent all my time in perranporth, the surf is amazing, and the people are so friendly. the only bad thing about it was i got food poisoning from JUICEBAR after eating jacket potato and prawns, i spent 24 hours being sick, having the 2 bob bits and being that weak all i could do is lay down and sleep.

Hey Chapelrock,1st thanks for posting this great video,5Stars from me!Great song great Video.I am extremely jealous of your Job,but however i do realise that you guys do a great job,with a lot of responsability.We went to this beach all the time on our three holidays to Cornwall this year,usually towards the end of the day after our days out.I read in the comments below about a "Rip Tide",what is this,and is perranporth beach dangerous,Thanks

a rip tide is when there are 2 banks of sand below the suface of the sea. when the waves go out the water goes between the 2 banks causing a massive rip ripping you out to sea. the best thing to do when you feel your self in a rip is swim parralel to the sea do not try to go against it or you will get tired really fast
