i like how AP does not mention that the building of settlements is IN CONTRAVENTION TO INTERNATIONAL LAW, and that Obama in Cairo said the settlements must stop a few months before; now making an about-face. beyond this, it is clear that the Palestinians can not accept this, especially given Abbas' loss of power. US and Israel need to give them something that will legitimate peace talks... at the least, the AP should explain that this is a reversal of policy and against int. law.
