hi smokscren. i did what you said in this tutorial but when i click send, only the e-mail part pops up and i see nothing in there but my e-mail address. isnt the order or whatever suppose to show up in the blank space when you click send and the mail thing pops up? please let me know. i would really apprecaite it. :) comment back :)
I saw your video on how to send a form via email. Thats a nice way to learn.
But in this way, it opens outlook to send the details. What if i dont want to use outlook. I just should click on submit and all information should be directly sent via email, no email editor should open. The page that i would like to display is "Information sent, thanks for your time"
I want to receive all that text in the form of email in my email account.
I don't get it: this basically accomplishes nothing -- it, in fact, requires more typing on the site visitor's part than a simple "A HREF=mailto:" tag which could be plain text or make an image inside the anchor tags clickable ... this approach requires the site visitor to have an separate email client like Tbird, Outlook, Pegasus, Eudora, etc. installed, and there are actually lots of folks who prefer to use a browser-driven email and this won't for them
probably a good idea to close those tags... might solve some compatibility issues in some browsers.
