Eldee, about effects being outdated, I disagree. ep3's effects and landscape shots are very beautiful and are definitely not outdated. ep1 and 2 on the other hand, may very well be. But 3 definitely not.

Actually all of those ultra meticulus details and all that work, houres, days year,... put into each shot doesn't matter at all since the story/screenplay makes no scence, not one single real human or resonable person would write atrocities like episode 1, 2 or 3.

Who wants to challange Jorge Lucas once in a while instead of fearing him all the time?

Agreed. What's funny is in an old interview for ROTJ they have Lucas saying "Special effects is just a tool. What drives a film is story, characters..."

I recently rewatched the prequels for the first time in four years....they're really....not good, I've realized. Esp. now that the gee whiz star wars hype is gone, and the special effects have aged. Amazing how dated they are.
