What I don't get is: Why does Bowser put massive switches to drop the floor in the castle, when he knows that Mario will just go and activate them? :P

Yeah, but I think the game overall could be a little bit harder. I think i'm just spoiled from playing all the incredibly hard SMW rom hacks. Make moar of your hack D:

kaizo isn't what mario is all about. in a mario game, there are no save states. just one checkpoint for an entire level. i think the world 7 castle is the hardest level in the game. there are so many deathspikes and the boss fight is insane! it's the only level that i had the super guide block pop up on me.
