  • Toni is VERY HOTTTT but R.O. is a big f'n fat dyke

  • How can anybody dislike this version? It's right, and the casting--woah. Weird? Isn't it a bit weird to have poppy fluff in the middle of 1920? Isn't that the weird one?

  • is there anything that Toni Collette can't do? This woman is unique!

  • Toni Collette is so versatile ... i love her!

  • In 2006, Collette starred in Little Miss Sunshine, a comedy-drama-road movie about a family's trip to a children's beauty pageant.

  • The acting in this scene is absolutely perfect. You can feel her heart break after she says "And the answer is.."

  • Her eyes are AMAZING! Captivating!

  • She has such a great look.

  • I prefer the way Lippa's was done but wither way both are good.

  • Awesome Toni!

  • Not a fan of her voice

  • I think this one is definitely better than the lippa version, the almost stream of consciousess through composing of the music is great. Plus the jazzier quality of the music is almost a lot more "dirty" than the cleaner big band style Lippa uses. I like some songs off of the Lippa's version more, and his attention to keeping with one main plot and idea is good. But I think that Lachiusa's choice to use a lot of characters makes it very interesting it seems like there's a lot more character.

  • I completely agree with you!

  • C, i personally lyk the lachuisa version better. I think lippa's took away some of the jazz authenticity thi one has, but thats just me.

  • This version of 'The Wild Party' is much closer to the sound that they would have had when the poem was written. I am a fan of both versions of the show due to how different they are. Lippa's is more contemporary broadway sounding while LaChuisa's is more authenic jazz sounding!

    Toni is AMAZING!

  • Okay, enough with the "I Hate this version" comments! I know where youre coming from, cuz I thought the same thing when I 1st discovered he Bway version (I was used to Lippa's version) but now it's really grown on me. If you think I'm wrong, find a time when ur free and just listen to the songs ALL THE WAY THROUGH (I know a lot of songs start of weirdly). If you still hate it, the polite thing to do would be to NOT leave those comments on a page about this musical because it's just plain annoyin

  • Sorry for all the spelling and grammar mistakes, I kept going over the character limit.

  • @Wickedisnumba1 You know what, I felt teh same exact thing. I would have to say that I like this one better than Lippa's.

  • ok, i love julia murney, but toni is def the best. i would love to see her in both versions of the wild party

  • Christ. I love Toni Collette but I fucking hate LaChuisa's Wild Party!

  • she was condidered for the role of roxie in the film chicago but producers said no because she was not a well enough known actress

  • GOOD GOD!!!!!! That was STUNNING!!!! Wonderful. I love her new stuff with the band, but this broadway style suits her to a T!! Whew!

  • God she's a fucking goddess! She needs to come back to Broadway. She'll be an amazing Mama Rose in a decade

  • Agreed... especially about how she needs to come back.

  • love her

  • She should come back to Broadway.

  • WOW she can sing who knew!!

  • she has a band and a cd

  • awe i love her hair

  • omg, thank you so much for putting this up I'm a huge fan of this show and there isn't alot of footage of it around; a real neglected gem.

  • I did a limited engagement of the musical with Tony Nominee Lorraine Serabian and Jefferson-Nominee Anne Tolpegin at Riverside Theater last year. But you are exactly right, so many theater companies pass over the LaChuisa Version for the less difficult Lippa Version. I did a week of work on the B-Way Production when a orchestra pit musician was out...what an awesome show to be a part of...and now twice!!

  • The best things sre never prised and always away from cameras.

  • la ou es la entrevue? (where is the interview?) practicing my french.

  • l'entrevue**

  • o yeah! i am first year french so aint that goodyet.

  • Okay, thank you.

  • She looks so different here! She's a good singer. Do you have the interview part of this?

  • No, sorry. Just the performance.

  • Okay, thanks. It was good to see.
