  • The uppercut at 9:41 when Tyson has him on the ropes is perhaps the most shockingly brutal, legally delivered punch I have ever seen. How one doesn't simply die from it pays testament to Bruno's strength and conditioning.

  • i'd rather have my face kicked by a mule on steroids than punched by iron mike

  • Great ref

  • Frank Bruno: HOLD AND HIT RABBIT PUNCH HOLD AND HIT RABBIT PUNCH

    RINSE AND REPEAT

  • Yo man you can tell Bruno was pissed, look at that look he gives Tyson after Tyson releases him from the hug he gave him after the fight ended, it was a mean look like "fuck you nigga"

  • Thing is Bruno's record meant he was always a better fighter than given credit for because in the UK he was better known for being a TV personality and in childrens shows and panto, never really having that killer instinct like Tyson had to finish opponents off. Am I right in saying that Bruno NEVER went down when he lost, when he was 'knocked out' he was still standing. Thats some honor.

  • @Mikez4

Nope. Wrong. He went down in the second Tyson fight.

  • @Robstailey well he was actually in the ropes when he lost and got back up again, he wasnt ever down on his ass!

  • 3:53 aww group hug

  • " 'Michael' Tyson wins on a fifth round TKO??"

    LOL FAIL

  • You can't compare athletes from different eras in sports where the athletes compete against each other. HOWEVER, there are many sports where athletes compete against the clock (all running/swimming/cycling events) or equipment (all weightlifting/strongman/throwing events) And in just about ALL of these, athletes from Tysons era DESTROY those from Alis

  • I watched this when i was a young kid with my dad and his dude, my dad bet on Bruno, this fight is when i became a tyson fan..

  • good stoppage

  • Loved the way the referee saves Bruno from certain death. I don't know much about boxe but I noticed that lots of Tyson contenders had that "what am I doin here" attitude

  • una bestia

  • I love iron Mike. But that stupid uneducated corner + don king was a big contribution to tyson's downfall....... If Rooney was beside him. He would have never lost. But it doesn't matter he still took the title's again when he got out of prison ; ). Tyson forever !!!

  • Once Tyson gets you on the ropes, thats it. Goodnight. The period from 1.10 till the end is the most ferocious piece of boxing you will ever see. A fighter at his peak with only one thing on his mind, displaying power not seen in the ring before or since. It's a mirace that Bruno was not KO'ed & deserves credit for staying on his feet. MT hit him with punches that would have floored many others. Witness the devastating combination of right to the ribs & uppercut at 0.11-10. Respect to Bruno.

  • frank "rabbit punch, neck holding" bruno

  • big frank

  • me I don't know too much about boxing ,just a part time athlete played some football but I can clearly see here the better coaching the better training and better fighter, maybe if you analyze their techniques Bruno might be better but Tyson is just doing everything like a machine not like a human being and that's what makes him the greatest boxer for me .look at Bruno's eyes at 10:11 he is aware that Mike would beat him at every fight forever.Mike predictable? No he is consistent.Iron Mike TYSON

  • @toydope ?? Well, i am glad you pointed out that you dont know too much about boxing, Because by this time period mike was pretty easy to figure out as far as predictability, it was all a matter of if his opponent would see it. We can easily see it from our point of view, Mike using mainly one punch shots, no combos really etc. Tyson was starting to lose that fire he had by this time he wasnt with rooney no more. Evander, Lewis etc. showed how easy it was to beat Mike when he was predictable.

  • Bruno had no confidence and no game plan!! he didn't use his height and reach advantage what a wuss lol lol

  • Was this late 89 Tyson or 96 Tyson, there's really no difference.

  • at this point in his career, guys didnt really believe they could whup Tyson, they lost before they stepped in the ring, his very name meant destruction,i remember his era well..

  • ref saved his life

  • bruno was a joke he never beat anyone of real consequence. he had no style or skill at all.

  • i live near frank bruno a village in england

  • aww can't ur queen save u bruno?

  • frank was such a hugger

  • @ginobeats123420 Even though it is not appealing to watch but hugging or clinching is an acceptable tactic in boxing anyway. When you're facing such a ferocious puncher like Tyson, the last thing you wanna do is stand in the pocket and exchange with him. It would surely be a short night for you, although that was exactly what Douglas did to Tyson, not many could stand and exchange with him. You almost had no choice but to hug, clinch and hold to get him tired in the later rounds.

  • @kanguesso good point good point

  • @kanguesso & Holyfield. ;-)

  • That's one of the best reffing i've seen in boxing. Love that guy

  • omg the uppercut shouldve popped brunos head off like johnny cage gee wiz

  • look at don king bitch ass there man

  • as soon as bruno got a taste of mike tysons power at the beginning of the fight, he would just grab mike tyson everytime he swung at him, to nuetralize his fast hard combos that would have destroyed him. bruno was to scared to box with mike tyson, simply because he knew he would be devastated, early in the fight.

  • Bruno is shyt boxer Tyson goes down as a legend. How old was Tyson in this fight ?

  • @k1ngw00d believe mike was 22 n dis 1 not for sure doe

  • Bruno got moved to couldn't do nothing but hold on to Tyson so he can get a hit. Who knows how old Tyson is in this fight ?

  • Tyson is a POET.,, he writes poetry with this punches...

  • Mr. Tyson is #1

  • Bruno is a bloody good fighter

  • Big Frank, lost on his feet. Great guy but Lil Mike was something else.

  • Ref was spot on to stop the fight there...it cant be good for any man to stand and take those blows from Tyson

  • damn bruno big

  • @tblacc11

yep.. , & Bruno gave tough fights to WHITHERSPOON, BONECRUSHER, & Lenox Lewis.

Bruno even beat a tough Oliver Mchall,

so this was a very great win for little MIKE TYSON, : )

  • Lovely right, double left in the first round by Frank.

At the time this was about the most Tyson had been challenged.

Tyson was something special - Bruno was magnificent:

"Bruno has 38 knockout wins from 40 victories and 45 fight altogether, which is an 84% knockout record and gives Bruno one of the highest knockout percentages in heavyweight boxing history."

45 fights - lost twice to arguably the best fighter in history, and to Lennox Lewis who beat (a washed up) Tyson.

    40 wins = no joke

  • @craigfrwcastle its funny tho !

Because nobody ever mention the fact that Tyson came back to fight Bruno after a pretty long lay off,

& before that fight, he had a whole lot of crazy tormoil in his life in 1988.

from Street fighting with MITCH GREEN & braking his hands, Stressed out troubles with Robin Givens, Crashing his car & gettin KO'd from the accident, & various other situations he had..

yet, in 1989, Tyson still fought a very tough bigger Bruno, & still beat him

    that is incredible

  • @nevawrong

I think the "rape" conviction happened in between the 1st and 2nd Bruno fight - this fight posted was their first fight when Tyson was still undefeated and feared like a MF.

But yes it's a good point that a man who can be out of training for 3 years, admit he, "wasn't in any kind of good shape but can still hit hard" - could wipe out a monster the size of Bruno.

Yea poor Mike, losing Cus, Robin breakin his heart, Don King fucking him over - etc etc etc -

    I'm glad he's happier now

  • @craigfromnewcastle Bruno was no punk. He was a respectable, top notch, heavyweight.

  • @gjc82071

Tyson said it was the hardest he'd ever been punched - Frank's problem was he was too slow really - he was extremely fit and extremely strong, but too slow.

Still has a fantastic boxing record though, which everyone seems to have forgotten just because he didn't beat the best fighter to have lived. People :D

  • @craigfromnewcastle Fringe boxing fan.

  • @craigfromnewcastle Tyson is in no way the best boxer in history. He ducked Bowe and Foreman, he got beat by the other 2 greats of his generation (Lewis and Holyfield). No no scratch that He got TOTALLY OUTCLASSED by the other greats of his generation. Tyson is an amazing person and an underappreciated human being but he had very real weaknesses that the likes of Holy and Frazier didn't have. Bad cardio, terrible jab & outfighting. Tyson was a media product! Get over it.

  • @DestroyerAlexandros

Why do you want to spoil and discredit your interesting and valid points by finishing with, "get over it"?

I don't have anything to "get over" - regarding Mike Tyson.

Tyson fought Lewis when he was finished with and finished in boxing, I think it would have been a different story if Mike fought Lennox when he was 21.

    "get over it"

    ?

  • @craigfromnewcastle Well mate as far as I'm concerned you're one of the millions of Tyson fanboys, who think "Prime Tyson", the guy who fought hand-picked bums with negative records and were promoted as "great challengers" by Don King in order to make Tyson look good when he knocks them out in 1 round, is some magical mystical creature that has virtually no weaknesses and would beat everybody, simply because he's the magical "Prime Tyson".

  • @DestroyerAlexandros

You're assuming a lot about a person that you don't know.

The only way to justify my admiration for Tyson as a boxer, offensively and defensively, would be to go through every single fight he had, then ask you if you thought that any of his opponents were worthy opponents or not - which does seem a bit of a long way to go, to justify my beliefs to a stranger.

Did Tyson fight "tomato cans"? Of course he did - did Tyson fight dangerous fighters too? Yes he did.

  • @craigfromnewcastle Point is, you watch a Tyson video and half of the comments under it are "Prime Tyson the best ever", "Prime Tyson KO 1 [Insert All-Time Great here]", etc. You watch a Holyfield video or a Foreman video and the most you get it "He's an all time great" or "one of the best". The Tyson mania is totally unjustified, considering Tyson never beat the best guys of HIS generation. The "Prime Tyson" arguments don't work, simply because a) "Prime" Tyson (continues)

  • @craigfromnewcastle didn't fight good guys, b) as soon as "Prime" Tyson fought a guy who didn't quit he was out of his prime (at 23). Saying Prime Tyson would have beaten Holyfield is like saying Roger Federer is not the best tennis player because somewhere in China there's a guy who's so talented that he can beat 6-0 6-0. Could there be a guy like that? It's very likely. Did it happen? No.

  • @DestroyerAlexandros

How can you say that Tyson didn't fight anyone of worth when he was in his prime?

He had to beat every other person who was holding the different World Championship Belts, to unify the titles and become the undisputed Heavyweight Champion of the World.

Bruno (twice), Spinks, Holmes, Trevor Berbick, James "Bonecrusher" Smith, Tony Tucker, Razor Ruddock etc all credible.

    Did Tyson duck people? Maybe.

Incidentally I really respect Evander Holyfield, what a warrior.

  • @craigfromnewcastle Tyson fought a lot of great guys that were bigger than him and he outclassed them totally. But to be the best you have to beat the best and train the best. Tyson didn't beat the best and he didn't train so hard after prison.

  • @DestroyerAlexandros

    He might agree with you.

Who in your opinion were the best fighters at the time of Tyson's peak?

(and why were they not holding any championship belts?)

Tyson went shite by his own standards after Cus died, then Jacobs, then King came along, then Givens, then all the whoors and the cocaine etc the rape conviction, he just turned to shit.

Tyson was a pure embarrassment by the time he fought Mcbride.

But the 20 year old Tyson to me, was beautiful to watch, just an animal.

  • @craigfromnewcastle Holy was the best when Tyson was at his "best" but the match was cancelled because Tyson went to jail. Anyway, Holy fought Foreman whom Tyson ducked and Holy knocked out Buster Douglas. Lewis was very good too back then but everybody ducked him because of the way he destroyed Ruddock in 2 rounds at the time when Ruddock was considered the best challenger.

  • @DestroyerAlexandros

I see Holyfield was rated No1 contender to fight Tyson for 2 years! Before Douglas beat Tyson (well Tyson beat Tyson by not training).

I read that Riddick Bowe beat Holyfield twice in three years too, so could Bowe have been a boxer for Tyson to duck?

Also James Tony, how do you think Tyson would have faired?

I also see that Valuev beat Holyfield and yet David Haye beat him -

I definitely agree that Tyson had to avoid some boxers but it doesn't take away how good he was

  • @craigfromnewcastle Riddick Bowe could definitely beat Tyson but he only focused on the Holyfield fights and his reputation was tarnished by the beatdowns Golota lay on him. James Toney was an average HEAVY at best, he was a tremendous middleweight and light heavyweight, but that's it. Valuev... TBH he'd most likely beat Tyson. Not because he's better but because it's a stylistical match up. Valuev would have about 100 pounds on Tyson. He'd also be (continues)

  • @DestroyerAlexandros

Bowe won against Golota twice in 4 months though.

Tyson beat Golota too - kind of - although I think that was a mental issue with Golota.

I am beginning to see your point, Bowe only lost to Holyfield, and had one NC.

Lewis beat every man he fought although some it took 2 goes to do so.

I suppose people liked the Tyson media machine, the propaganda, but as ONE OF the top fighters, I will always admire him.

I just wish he'd got out and kept 800 million. Mook.

  • @craigfromnewcastle To be honest Bowe lost the Golota fights. He came in at 300 lbs every time (his best shape was like 250) and they saved him. Golota kept breaking the rules so they stopped it. Bowe was gonna lose if it went the distance though. Anyway, you're right people projected a lot of their anger on Tyson. Lewis is the example of a well-managed career. He fought everybody and he fought safe. He quit when it was time to do so (unlike people like Toney who're still in

  • @DestroyerAlexandros Definitely, Lewis was very wise to say, "I've done it, it's time to go" and not look back.

And judging by his face and his non slurred speech, he played the game extremely well.

I never warmed to Lewis though, never had any personality for me.

I think the most excited I got watching him was when Bowe said he was going to knock him out - outside the ring.

    Clever man though.

But I think in boxing, until people actually fight, you never know who would have won.

    Cheers though

  • @craigfromnewcastle Hey, it's better to be a good person than to be a funky personality. Lewis and Vitali are boring as hell would probably beat anybody else in history and they're nice people. To me Holyfield is the best because he was so exciting in the ring, he really beat everybody at their own game.

  • @DestroyerAlexandros

I'll have to watch more of his fights.

He lost a lot from about 2000 onwards, he seemed to have his heyday in the 80's.

I like Tyson now because he's interesting and funny.

Many boxers just disappeared after their boxing days were done but the world can't get enough of Mike Tyson :)

I like his funny videos now - funny how life changes isn't it?

  • @craigfromnewcastle Truly. Tyson wasn't just an athlete he was a personality. Something a lot of superb athletes lack.

  • @DestroyerAlexandros definitely

I like to listen to him talk, hear his views and experiences, I think he's amazing to go from what he was to who he is now.

  • @craigfromnewcastle giving up A LOT in height and reach. The guys who beat Valuev are the guys who outmanuevered him and outpointed him. Tyson wasn't exactly the guy to outpoint you. That's why Klitschko ducked Valuev. Valuev is impossible to beat if you go toe to toe with him. Tyson, Holyfield, Lewis, Bowe, Tua. Those were the kings of the HW in the 90s. Tyson lost to all other great fighters he fought.

  • @DestroyerAlexandros

But I thank you for educating me on matters which you clearly know more about than I.

Boxing has always been full of shenanigans :) mob ran - pay offs, taking dives etc

But what I liked about Tyson in his prime was his speed, and his movement, and just his pure animosity towards his opponents - and then I thought it odd but endearing how he'd pick them up and kiss them hahaha

5 seconds earlier he was trying to kill them, then he was friends again hahaha nutter :)

  • @craigfromnewcastle It's true man, Tyson was captivating. I love the guy, he was misunderstood and he's an intelligent and gentle person, but people never gave him the chance to be nice. He was a freak show from the moment he stepped in the spotlight.

  • @DestroyerAlexandros

That's another reason why I always liked Tyson, the awful beginning to his life, and how generous and soft spoken he was, then recently how I found out that he was very upset to have been bullied.

I think people saw a lot of their own anger in him, so rooted for him.

And he was like a 12 year old with a beast's body.

    Weird psychology going on there.

So it looks like it's not the best boxer who holds the belts but the best management who manipulate the game?

  • @craigfromnewcastle either research beter, brush up on math...or go back to meth...

  • @hoyfanofboulder

That's a good answer, it made me giggle.

But why do you say it to me?

The figures I got for Bruno, Tyson and Holyfield are from wikipeadia

And it's Mathematics, not math, illiterate American :)

  • Bruno had the heart but unfortunately lacked the necessar skills to overcome Tyson's power and elusiveness in the ring....a classic fight!

  • king is heasding to be buddies with hitler stalin potts hussein bin laden etc etc

  • there was only one fighter similar to tyson back in ali days and that was foreman. but that doesnt mean cos ali beat forman he beat tyson. foreman was a bigger guy than ali so it was easier for ali. imagine been smacked up by a little guy whose ahard hitter. u would find it dead hard to hold ur opponent without been uppercutted the same way tyson would. which means ali would be unlikely to hold on like he did in his time. but im not saying tyson is the best. but that would of been hes best fight

  • Richard Steele was a legend, if only there were more refs like him.

  • Massive respect to Bruno, look at those shots he took!! Tyson was a beast.

  • DON KING is a slimy, reptilian motha pucka

  • I BELIEVE THAT BRUNO ,WAS PAID ,.....a lot of money ,throughout his career ,for the advertisement space on the soles of his boots ,as he seemed to spend a lot of time lying on his back ,...as far as i can remember at one time, he was paid £750.000 ,by HP SAUCE :)

  • I still can't believe people talk of Tyson in the same breath as Ali. He beat Frank Bruno, so fucking what.

You can see here just what happened to Tyson in every big fight he lost- He slows down after the first 3 rounds and just goes wading in with lead left hooks and right hands. Against great fighters, that is not enough.

That's why everyone with a chin and with boxing ability boxed Tyson's head off in the second half of fights.

Tyson was very good. But not a great.

  • @forsoup ALI WWERNT SO FUKIN GR8 EITHA.... he only won those frazer fights on luck ... dihed. but ye tysons nothing

  • @forsoup Ali himself said that Mike Tyson was GREAT. WTF do you now bitch. STFU

He was GREAT therfore he is THE YOUNGEST HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION EVER.

  • That right hook right uppercut combo was amazing

  • If there were a few fights that could have happened, I think everyone would have like to see: Foreman and Tyson in their 20's; Ali and Tyson or Ali and Holyfield; Lewis and Tyson in their 20's (or each at their peak) and Rocky Marciano v Ali or Tyson.

My predictions: Foreman would have beaten Tyson...Ali would have beaten Tyson; Tyson would have beaten Lewis; Ali would have beaten Marciano.

  • Bruno was certainly a very good boxer in his heyday. It must be said of course that He wasn't in Mike Tyson's class, but He was a great boxer all the same. I think He should be given more credit.

  • Fucking Don King... Dick King.

  • bob sheridan pretending he's doing this live. Kind of silly . Didn't frank bruno get busted for fucking 14 year olds or something?

  • Bullshit early stoppage with no knockdown. Tyson was winning fights on reputation and intimidation at this point. Which is the reason reason he got his ass handed to him by Douglass shortly after this fight

  • I was born in the same year 89 and as i look to this video I feel soooo old

  • YEE YEE!!! MIKES THE MAN!

  • bruno has more power but hes to intimidated to use it lol

  • Bruno knew he was gonna get beat if he didnt grab tyson most of the time but then again he's bein a scrub

  • Somebody must have forgot to tell Bruno the Hugging contest was cancelled and this

contest was actually a Boxing match.

  • @Squeaky4CC ... but he beat Bruno as well and called him a coconut...

  • Bruno should have had a standing count at 9:04

  • Even though he won this fight it really was the beginning of the end.

  • I agree Tyson 88 vs Joe Louis same age would be spectacular!

Watching this i can only think of whats comin next for Mike.

All people who cared about him gone, Tyson was very young . Left alone with Don Kings massive ego, greed, cheat, etc and goldiggin Robin g . Plus his own choices.the unfocused, crazyand beatable Tyson was born. LOL then big names avoiding him for years ,step up..25yrs and fans of other legends cant get him out of there head . Arguing bs thats pure comedy!

  • Buster douglas hit tyson with more clean blows then ali n frazier hit 1 another with ive seen all 3 fights!

  • If there could ever be a Tyson vs. a fighter from another era,it`s 99.9% sure "Tyson vs. Ali" Ppl would say.I think Tyson would have bitchslapped Ali.Joe Louis on the other hand.... He had the power to stop (maybe) Tyson when Tyson was crowding him and he was a technically brilliant too.... Why isn`t "Tyson vs. Joe Louis?" more popular? Even if it doesn`t mean shit.Tyson was unique.

  • @Squeaky4CC

Tyson in his prime destroy Lennox Lewis.

  • By this time Tyson training was suffering a ton...he had gotten rid of the people that actually cared for him..and was surrounded by human scums that only wanted to get to his money....

Look at this TYSON vs a Tyson or 1 or 2 years prior...completely different fighter. THIS TYSON was flat footed, slow and a one punch at a time fighter....UNTIL the end when Bruno was hopeless on the ropes...

  • 21 years, and I remember it like it was yesterday.1st fight without Rooney, and already i`m SURE i can see a lack of,i donno,SOMETHING in Tyson.4 ex. when Bruno is holding with his left "Rooney-Tyson" would have given Bruno the vicious right hook body-right uppercut.I`m sure of it.But again and again he gets away with holding and punching. Ofcourse, beeing the monday morning quarterback is easy, but come on. Besides,i sat in front of the TV yelling the exact same thing back then.GOD i`m getting old

  • @722000theloop Seeing that piece of shit hugging Mike Tyson after he won, ruined my fucking day

  • Ali said says what he means and he said if Tyson cought him he would be asleep

  • good referee

  • I would rather be in front of a tiger tyson mike boxing as compared to

  • it's like he was born and made for this. I have never seen such strength, speed culminating in the most ferocious boxer I think I will ever see. Who knos what he is like as a person, he was a freak of nature and training.

  • Tyson was pissed off in the end because Bruno kept hugging him and the reason why he kept doing that to avoid Tyson's punch

  • why stop the fight bullshit let him kill that hugging bitch

  • My goodness, man, look at the punch Mike throws at 8:35 seconds. He throws a faint jab that intentionally isn't supposed to land, then quickly shifts to a left hook and lands it. Very, very quick. Stunned him too...

  • tyson is more of a street fighter, he dont mind getting knocked about he just wants to get in there.

  • guys 2 words Muhammad Ali if Tyson fought in Ali prime Tyson would lose on the 5 round BUT Ali would get knocked like 2 times but with the greatest chin of all time it wouldn't do shit Ali greatest speed fighter next to Ray Robinson

and Tyson is the greatest power boxer next to NOBODY Tyson was great but not the greatest if i had to decide hands down ALI! ALI! ALI! ALI! ALI!

  • @plasticwinter Ali would dance all night long..I also think Liston and Foreman hit harder then Tyson...

  • @freein2339

Ali was quoted as saying Tyson would beat him.

  • @TokyoFreeze79 Ali was making Tyson feel good....Tyson would have gotten knocked out in 7-8 rounds...

  • @freein2339

Ali never put himself down to make someone feel good when it came to boxing

  • @freein2339 lol you must like dick riding Ali. Ali who talks so much shit about his opponents felt like humbling himself just to make some kid feel good? Who are you kidding, Ali honestly knew he would lose to Tyson

  • @Oozazabanya Tyson got hit too much for a fighter like Ali...Foreman also would have kncked Tyson ou...But Tyson and Frazier would have been a great , brutal fight...

  • @freein2339

Have you seen the first Frazier-Ali fight? Ali got hit A LOT. Tyson only hits harder than Frazier and is faster, so I believe Tyson could beat Ali.

  • @BarrySlisk Ali was not in shape in that first fight..however the "Trilla in Manilla" was the most brutal fight I've ever seen....Could Tyson survive that..????.....Let's ask Buster Douglas.....

  • @BarrySlisk Doesn't last as long as Frazier. Frazier didn't even come close to KOing Ali, even when he knocked him down in round FIFTEEN. Ali would TKO Mike late or win UD.

  • Growing up in the UK Bruno was always a bit of a laughing stock and a figure of fun - despite his impressive record everyone seemed to think of him as a joke, and even though it's clear he was never gonna win this fight I'm amazed he lasted as long and did as well as he did, and you can tell Tyson's a little amazed too - hats off to ya Frank.

  • 9:39. Holy shit. Just take a knee already.

  • I was 9 years old, spending the night at my best friend's house, when we watched this fight.

  • lol @ 3.45 "like a madman" , youre dead on there!

  • There was only one Greatest and it wasn't Tyson????????????????????? He was the greatest ever

  • Bruno is a bitch, every other five seconds he wants to clinch

  • @guttaboi88

Yeah it's lame but I honestly can't blame him..

  • Best ref ever, this guy knows boxing.

  • bruno is my age here, fuck me I feel out of shape

  • Kevin Rooney was actually Tyson's trainer through all of Tyson's prime years. You can see in this fight that Tyson isn't moving his head when gets inside. He also looks lazy, he's just searching for one knockout punch but he's standing straight up waiting to get hit.

  • 09:35 Give props to the ref for saving Bruno's life!

  • I think tyson should have lost this fight and the douglas fight would never happen.Tyson would get a rematch and ko bruno in the rematch.Things might have turned out better for tyson losing to bruno because it would wake mike up and he would ask rooney to come back and get him b ack on track again and holyfield and douglas would get beat.

  • tyson is the best ever period !!! bruno is a bum !!!

  • Don't ever, EVER CALL MIKE TYSON, MICHAEL TYSON!

  • It's nothing to do with UK vs. US. The Brits love Tyson just as much as the Americans and Bruno was never someone we were proud of.

  • buhahahah-facking box experts watch the video and do not coment

    buhahahahahahahahhaa-idiots

  • N for u ppl that believe tyson dodged lewis heres another newsflash they sparred when they were both in there prime n tyson knocked lewis out n out the ropes y dodge someone u knocked out b4 hmmm?

  • @newyorkrovers NEWSFLASH tyson was the youngest heavyweight champ ever u think the guys he fought to get there were push overs he was also a rather small heavyweight pound 4 pound hardest puncher ever put that in ur pipe n smoke it!

  • Very well rehearsed. Some people made safe money, Bruno for sure one of them, that night.

  • man its just not human, the speed and power of tyson.....

  • why did tyson beat any great fighters then ? answer to that no and when he did fight a decent big heavyweight he got flattened .... you knuckleheads

  • i love the bombshell he drops bruno as he taps his arm to relase his guard then comes in with a vicious uppercut.. and bang hes definetly done... all over after he hit him with that uppercut.... that is the best uppercut i have ever seen!

  • Yep that's a good American Ass woopin on a Redcoat!

  • Respect to both fighters - you gotta have the heart of an Ox to go through such a beating from either of these guys. Bruno lacked the killer mentality Tyson obviously did not. A great fight in every case!

  • Every record, every shred of evidence supports Tyson ducking Lewis for years and years!

  • @TheSlapdown Just one thing, Bruno was well ahead on points in there meet, he got Kod by a sucker punch, so that in mind how would he have faired against a young Tyson? I really do not think there would have been much contest. Lewis fought a fighter who was no longer interested in the sport, a fighter who was only there for the money win or lose.

  • Seeing Don King in there just ruined my fucking day!!!!

  • @722000theloop

i was just gonna post a comment saying that seeing tysons new trainer in there made me upset, kevin rooney shud of been in all tysons fights leading him to a 60-0 record...but ya seeing don is worst lol

  • @722000theloop Same here

  • @722000theloop don king never made a real living BAG OF SHIT, He took every chance to earn for himself it was all money no "boxing" thats just a word to him just the name of his bank account.....!

  • tyson the best just pure power, but dont take anything away from big frank im 6.2 15 stone i would not last 15 secs in the ring with tyson.or bruno.

  • @mackinl

Agree with you. Tyson was the best but Bruno showed heart gotta give him that. In the end, all of us on this message board wouldn't last 10 seconds with either of those greats. lol

This was a great fight and it ended the only way Mike Tyson knew how to end it.

  • @occidental88

shut your fucking mouth, don't you ever compare tyson and bruno like that! bruno is no great. he was not even "very good". who's the best fighter he ever beat? oliver mccall? a very old joe bugner?

bruno made a career out of beating bums, when he faced the likes of tyson and lewis he was instantly exposed as a bum. his performance in this fight was downright terrible, holding excessively, holding and hitting, what a mess. great my ass.

  • also, great technical knock out by Tyson. as well, I thought the referee stopped the fight at the perfect time. Bruno was absolutely done after those last two bombs to his dome. Good call by the ref that that was it.

  • that hit after the bell of round 3 by Tyson was utterly disgusting.

  • Frank Bruno didn't come to fight, he just wanted to hug Tyson all night.

  • @187prettyboy Bruno did the best he could. I would like to see you do better!!

  • @ThePeacepoet Sorry nothing personal, just commenting on fight tactics. No offense

  • @187prettyboy Dont be daft mate, no need to say sorry. We all have our own opinions. Hoever I do feel Bruno did the best he could and tried his best but was out of his depth. At least Bruno showed heart in all his fights. Unlike that Audley Harrison

    the other week.
