The song content really fits the theme in all his films, about outsiders who despise compromise and equivocation to the system, who make their own rules and pride their freedom. Breaking it down, watching his films makes me reanalyze my own life. Anyway, again great editing and song choice! And I'm an aficionado for Mann's soundtracks.

I've always been a fan of Mann's work. He has some breathtaking scenes in EVERY one of his movies, and his use of music is fantastic. I can watch Manhunter, Heat, Last Of The Mohicans and Collateral over and over and never get tired of them.

This is a refreshing MANN MONTAGE with the TV spots and the updated landmark crime saga Public Enemies. Good song choice. You are definitely a fan and know what your doing!

Mann is by far my favorite Director ... he uses music, light, camera angles and, best of all, actors in a way that no other director has been able to surpass ... Even projects that would be of questionable quality if made by any other director seem to work for Mann ... "Heat" and "Manhunter" are simply amazing works of art ... Everything that Mann has touched is mesmerizing ... I even give him high credit for making "Miami Vice" watchable, I am not sure any other director could have done that.

Characters in Mann are more subtle, deep and quiet heroes that 'think'. The style of filming always puts 'the city' as one of the main characters.
