  • If I had a dollar for every comment on how cruel it is to give a cat/kitten a bath that I see my collage would be paid for ._.

  • @Ragman205 WTF

  • It's shiney. :3

  • poor cat!!!!!

  • @LuMoMi

Actaully, this helps the cat. This gets off fleas and ticks, and helps keep them off. This also helps getting the acsess dirt off the cat. The cat will then, after the bath, lick itself dry and return to it's normal routine. There is nothing wrong with giving a kitten a bath.

  • THIS IS SO CRUEL, IMMA SCRATCH YOU FACE DA FUCK UP! YO YO WIGGA YO, IMMA DERPDERP NESTEA IS THE BEST ZERG IN THE WORLD

  • @Ragman205 Errrr. o.o

  • For the record, bathing cats is not harmful, however certain soaps or shampoos are not good, and I see a lot of bubbles in that bath. So if you didn't know, well now you do. Cheers!

  • You should know that cats still get a little dirty . I'm not saying you should bath your cat once a week but you should give your cat a bath once every two months.

  • thats so sweet what you did for him when you could have left him to die like his brother and take him to the vet and treat him so nicely and by the size of that kitten it was for the best you washed him and its not harmful!

  • Good on you for saving the wee baby

  • Bathing cats isn't harmful, but isn't necessary unless it's required by your vet. Cats are the cleanest domestic animal. They bath themself several times a day. So normally they don't need this. I thought it was cute, but again not necessary. The only other reason to bathe your cat is if you are raising them as show cats.

  • I don't need to hear that the vet told them to. THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH WASHING A PET! r_r

  • aw so sad about the story where the cat came from but hes in a good home being taken care of i also dont see how bathing them is bad but i say congrats! You saved a kitten :)

  • thats so sad story :( luckely you guys found him..i'm sure the cat is very happy with you. :)

  • Cuute! XD

  • i bathe my kittens and yes they hate it but either i bathe them and get the fleas off or them become anemic and die

  • what a cutie pie! :)

  • Aww its adorable!

  • There's absolutely nothing wrong with bathing a cat. I think that people should use a handheld sprayer but the method displayed in this video appears just fine to me.

I bathe my cat every now and then. She doesn't love it but she tolerates it just fine. She loves it afterwards when she gets the drier.

  • he was...half dead...next..to...his dead...brother omg! did someone kill it or was it old or was hit by a car or wat?

  • I clicked on this video cause it was a shiny cat...

  • @Megamilo5 haa me too

  • Comment removed

  • give em bath young cuz gl after

  • my mom and me had to do the same thing. my sister found a kitten on the side of the highway. it was 80 degrees out. the cat was feral but not anymore. we had to give her a bath because she was so sweaty and dirty.

  • /jejej,chili!!

  • All animals need a bath sometimes... it's a myth that cats don't need ones, specially when they live inside of the house cuz saliva that covers their fur is the reason that causes allergies in people. So... don't worry about baths... worry about their claws and don't allow water enter to their ears, it would cause an infection.

  • dumbasses read the description.

sure bathing cats too often is bad for them but if they're dirty to the point where they can't clean themselves then it doesn't do any harm

  • Kittens need baths, especially when they are learning to use the litter box. When my cat was a kitten he was constantly getting feces on himself and needed a bath. We are not born able to wash ourselves or use the toilet, and neither are cats! Would you rather it be running around caked in mud, dried crap, urine and bugs because "BATHS ARE MEAN"???

  • you saved that kittys life...ty for this video. love it :)

  • Awwwww, I bet he felt loads better after that nice warm bath. :)

  • I personally don't bathe my cats because one's very skittish and the other has claws like a mother. But I do use a damp flannel on one of them because we are waiting for her to be allowed tooth extraction. She has bad teeth, which makes her breath smell, which, in turn makes her body smell.

she really enjoys it in the summer and lays on the lawn and bakes herself dry.

There really is no issue with bathing your cat/kitten, so long as THEY don't complain and are dried properly. :) Stop hating!

  • it so shiny :3

  • Bathing cats is okay. Obviously you're not going to do it every day, but if they roll in mud, can't lick themselves well enough, have lice, diarrhea, or severe dandruff problems they will be happier if you do. You don't need to really soak 'em down. They shampoo will do most of the work, just like detergent does most of the work cleaning your dishes. You just rinse, lather, rinse, towel dry!

  • You remind me of my father. He found a stray cat being abused and rescued it. Thank you for doing the right thing by saving his life.

  • Listen, everyone. Bathing cats is good for cat,s it's not abuse to them if they don't like it.

If they didn't like food, would you take it all away? No? Then stop complaining, and wash your fucking pets, kittens can't bathe themselves.

  • actually this is true Baths for kittens and cats is OK. It helps them develop a closer bond with you and not be so scared of the water. It also helps with getting rid of loose hairs on the kitty so it won't go into their stomachs causing hair balls and other intestinal problems

  • giving cats or kittens bathes it isnt mean...its away for people with allergies to keep their cat inside with them... i have a kitty and i give it a bath once a week

  • You've always got the numerous dumbasses that will find something wrong with any video.

"A cat having a bath? That's not perfect and nice and sweet, it's reality! COMMENT BASHING TIME!"

  • hahaha looks like a ball

  • OO

oye a los gatos no se les puede meter agua a los oidos pq le da una infeccion...

  • why even bother bathing cats cause they are just going to get dirty again while hunting at night

  • @1234wwetna why do you go to sleep if the day after you have to wake uo again? :/

  • @1234wwetna Well, then maybe you shouldn't bathe. I mean, you're just gonna get all sweaty and dirty again, right?

  • The kitty is like "Nooo, my furrr." Cute. :)

  • aii k belloo

  • kind of wish that people would read the info in the description before posting their harsh comments on here. By the way, how is your kitty doing?

  • Your kitten is so calm having a bath

  • su espalda se ve brillante

  • @halfcut1991 read the description before you start slinging insults, your ignorance is showing

  • @halfcut1991 LOOOOOOOOOL dude calm down haha! read the info :)

  • @halfcut1991 Actually not all cats hate water. I've had two cats so far that have loved water, and one even played in our swimming pool. And bathing kittens helps develop a very stong bond between the owner and the pet. Have you ever seen a mother cat lick it's babies? Yeah, that's bathing and washing them. If you would have read the description you would have known that this kitten doesn't have a mother, so it's actually very right for the owner to give it a bath.

  • kitty looks like a drowned rat

  • i wanna squeeze it too... its so cute. lol XP

  • well fuck you if i try this with my cat his like IMA EAT YOU SOUL!

  • Comment removed

  • @SarahAndLexiTVTV2 They clean themselves. Always bathe it ? Um, no.

  • @SarahAndLexiTVTV2 Why?? if they have been with their mother the right time they lear how to wash themselves.

  • Bathing cats it not harmful.

  • @groomdoggi Well not to the cat. Mostly to the person bathing the cat.

  • @MiFFiL Not always!

  • @groomdoggi but they can do themselves ;)

  • @PandaNoNeko Yes, they can. But, sometimes helping them out with a water bath is the kindest thing to do. And, sometimes it's just the fastest thing. As long as the bath is given with care, it's fine. Remember, these are domesticated animals-they have the privilege of not seeking shelter or food for their whole lives. Getting a bath now and then not such a horrible trade off. I'd take that deal if someone offered it to me!

  • @PandaNoNeko I used to have strong beliefs about how animals should be treated (or not treated.) But, as a groomer, I've seen many uncomfortable situations. I changed my mind when a friend asked me, "Which is worse, giving this cat a bath (or shaving it down!) or putting it on death row in a shelter?"

  • @PandaNoNeko True. I wasn't suggesting ALL cats need baths or even should be bathed. I was just replying to the comments suggesting that bathing a cat was harmful to the cat.

  • @groomdoggi Try and bathe my cat and see how harmed you are.

She doesnt like water and will scratch your face the fuck up.

  • @lesleyhenriquez I was replying to other people's comments that suggested a bath harmed the cat. I'm a pet groomer. I'm fully aware of the perils of bathing cats.

  • don't worry about it, girl it's all right to give kiitens baths as long the soap is all off. :)

  • They *DO* shrink quite a bit, don't they? But they are still all *muscle-y*

  • @dirtygirlof76 my cat would be all belly fat.

  • What a calm kitty! Whenever I try to bathe Patches O'Houhlihan (my cat) my arms look like I've dragged razor blades over them. Cute and calm kitty,

  • @Notawesomeatall7 lmfao props for naming your cat after a character in one of the most epic movies ever. :DDD

  • Ohhh, yeah I understood her;)

    English please.

  • try that with my cat and you'd have no arms. nice though

  • it's like wth they are doing with me :D

  • It's not bathing them that is the problem. It's when you wring them dry... (Sorry!)

  • @jaffabend LOL i use hair dryer

  • ugh you guys are so fucking stupid, yes cats dont need to have baths often but they still need them.

  • @XjadeXdreamsX Im talking to the people who dont know you twat!! thats why your comment was removed ball or gtfo

  • ok people just FYI It is not cruel to give a cat a bath. Just keep the water out of its ears and eyes and its fine. Cats need baths just like people do and dogs do and horses do and yadda yadda yadda. Lets not tell this girl she's nuts for bathing a cat

  • You guys speaking spanish in this vid?

  • Not bad: a bit less standing water in the sink, and he will be less agitated.

Just saw a video here of someone using a toothbrush to sponge another kitten.

Rinsing off with a water pic works too.

  • i cant believe it let u doo that! lol!!!!

  • Cats give themselves baths. The magic eraser is made the same way a cats tongue is. (Joke)

  • Ur cat ish so cute. <3

  • wow what a shiny coat. i bet its really beautiful when its dry

  • hehe awe so cute

  • poor kitty!!! :(

  • you did the right thing-I hadn't even read the description yet when I saw the rude comments below. as someone who is studying to be a vet and lives with many many cats-back off. she did the right thing. Some cats actually enjoy water-the only main thing to worry about is their ears. and it sounds like she did a good job keeping kitty comfortable. why don't you people get more info before posting rude things? just a thought.

  • All of you that disagree with this video, look at the INFO AND MORE INFO! SHE HAD TO GIVE IT A BATH! HER VET TOLD HER! ARE YOU VETS?! NO! CAUSE I'M NOT! SO BACK OFF! XP

  • @NatureSilverlight uuuuu callate al osico

  • @1562john ??

  • dont forget to hang it to dry !!! :D

  • @birdboy10 ooo you have two cats you must know all about what felines need and want

  • Nice pussy!

  • i wash my cat with only water about every week or 2 then the loose fur comes out and no hairballs i dont have a comb for my cat though .~.

  • Aww poor guy his like BITCH PUT ME DOWN lol

  • que bonitooo me lo das? :3

  • @1animalgirl apparently not

  • @1animalgirl no

  • @1animalgirl Open forum animalgirl: you asked the question. I own a cat and this is unnecessary.

  • aww so cute

  • @1animalgirl Yes: there is no reason to submerge a cat in water, or soap it up, unless it has something on its coat it cannot ingest without being poisoned. They don't experience water the way a dog does.

  • hey, nice video. i enjoyed watching you stroke your pussy

  • lol u called him susia dirty

  • are you spanish cause if you are AWESOME! :3 i have a friend whos spanish and shes very nice her name krystal :D

  • how do you train cats not to be scared of water..its so hard ..sometimes bath is so necessary to get rid of the pests..

  • i dont think its cruel, when u find a cat on the streets almost dead,u need to bathe him or something! hes cute!

  • careful when u bathe a cat, dont get water, or pet shampoo into the eyes, or ears.

  • i bet he loves you lots. what a cute kitten. i would love to see you try and bathe him again bigger. haha, what a nice thing you've done Xx

  • Nice story bro.

Saludos.

  • Now that's just mean! Calling him a rat...

Poor thing... He does look like a rat when he's wet.

  • son ecuatorianas???

  • awww what a cutie glad hes safe now and good that u rescued him :)

  • xDD que gatito tan mono!

  • io tmb baño a mi gatito =) pero con agua tibia xsupuesto u_u

  • Lucky kitty. :)

A neighbor of mine gave me my kitty. He's a special one because the toes on his front paws are somehow "conjoined" and was barely able to walk when he was little because I think some kids took his "special" claw and it left a big wound on his beautiful paws.

Now he's 2 years old and is very handsome. I don't have vids of him though.

    YEY for your kitty! :*

  • your kitten is sooooooooooo cute (i readed the discription) i feel bad for him i mean before you found him he is a very lucky kitten =)

  • Nope if people id sending u bad comments I desagree with them. You did a good Job saving him and giving him a bath...Good Job ladies!!!

  • Glad you found him and nursed him back to health.

  • The kitten is like: "What's going onnnnn?"

  • not ment to wash cats

  • what language do you speak

  • thz waz borin

  • I won't dare try bathing two of my cats, but I have to bathe my oldest one Max. His fur gets really matted and greasy if I don't do it- especially in summer. Poor thing. Thank goodness he's the calm one! lol The other two I've tried, but they nearly ripped my arm to shreds trying to escape! Plus, both of them have soft, clean fur.

  • cúte

  • You dried him in a dryer set on low?

  • Your supposed to wash their backs they can't reach and some cats get bathed for medical reasons

  • You don't need to wash cats, it's sad. Cats wash themselves, probably even better than most humans..

  • im speechless all i can say is cuuuuuuutttttteee

  • he's cute :) i give my cat a bath about 3 times a years never done her any harm she quite enjoys them too glad to read that he grew up strong and healthy and kudos for saving him, hes a very lucky kitty

  • he was so cute i have two cats. We got them from our friend. The cat that they had had two liters of cats. WE got one cat from each liter. When we brought the second cat home our first one was all redy grown. The first cat new that they had the same mother and took care of it as one of its own. And all thos people that say your not supos to wash cats are wrong. You give you cat a bath 2 or 3 times a year it helps them. once agine you kittin iz cute.

  • my cat is an indoor cat & it still gets its baths, cats just like us their fur become really oily & starts looking patchy like the hair tends to clump .. also giving ur cat a bath helps prevent them from getting flees these little insects love to breed in dirty or sweaty fur , also yes ur cat does groom itself but have u smelled ur cats breath ?

  • eventually ur cats fur will start to smell musty & fishy like ur cats breath which means it needs a bath. i give my cat a bath once every month but that depends on how her fur is & shes very calm & relaxed with it shes starting to get use to it & she stays still, she doesnt cry so just for those who r saying mean things saying its cruel to give a cat a bath it isnt if it was cruel they wouldnt have cat shampoos at the pet stores if you dont noe ur facts do not say anything at all thanks

  • @nessa19 .....eventually ur cats fur will start to smell musty & fishy like ur cats breath which means it needs a bath. i give my cat a bath once every month but that depends on how her fur is & shes very calm & relaxed with it shes starting to get use to it & she stays still, she doesnt cry so just for those who r saying mean things saying its cruel to give a cat a bath it isnt if it was cruel they wouldnt have cat shampoos at the pet stores

  • he is soo scared. but u need to be clean kitten

    XD

  • It's sad the way you found him but at least he's alive and healthy and looks rlly cute.

  • all animals need a bath everything needs a bath cause you will stink.even if they dont like it some cats do some cats dont they just like they coat nice and smooth and want to look pretty thats why they dont like water.

  • Cats don't need baths!

  • Hah the cat is just sitting there......

  • People will find something to complain about over nothing. Like us kittens need a bath too although most that I know do not like water at all.

Such a cute kitty and is thankful for you saving him

  • About the squeezing thing. That's completely normal. That's what I've done with my cat for 16 years to get all the extra water out of his fur and he likes it. It's like a massage for them and the hand contact helps them stay warm in the water. It didn't look like you were squeezing him enough to hurt him, just enough to get rid of the excess water. I was expecting this to be horrifying after reading the sidebar. lol

  • Wow, he's pretty cool about it. Doesn't seem to mind too much.

  • Cats aren't water soluble, so feel free to bathe them. If they don't like it, they'll let you know.

  • my cat doesnt like water but i think they should get bath if they are outside cats!

  • every cat love water but they don't show it^^

  • cats dont like water in their ears

  • thats how i bathe my kittens i could remember when they were just the size as mice when they were born and now they don't fit in my palm no more

    i miss the new borns!!

  • hey um i am sorry about my other comment i just said what my vet told me. so please dont be mad. all i said that you arent suppose to give cats baths alot. but i deleted my other coment so ya sorry. i am really sorry

  • Hey Seranade109, don't worry about it, and thankyou so much for coming back and apologizing, it really means a lot. Most people wouldn't do that, its nice seeing someone who is nice enough to do that. Thank you. =]

  • @DarkIkena thats because they dont wanna lose their pride... and look stupid.... but i didnt say you look stupid @seranade109 im sorry if it insulted ya... i was just saying...

  • thank god you rescued him.. and we also bathe our cats so it's not really an "animal abuse" to bathe them.. some people in youtube are really dorks and they think putting cats in a cage or bathing them is an animal abuse even though it's not.. you're just doing what's better for them.. to keep them away from harm and stuff.. :)

  • i think its great that yall rescued him, and yall dont owe them an explanation. if they dont like it, they can get over it. its already done and complainings not changing anything is it? so yall grow up.

  • you can wash cats every 3 months. my vet told me so
