I met him once. What a wonderful, beautiful, gentle man he truly was. He was what KY basketball is all about. Rest in peace sweet Mr KY. I know you're watching the boys still.
Heros are not Forgotten, but Legends never Die...Mr.Wildcat will forever be in the hearts and minds of all that surround the basketball program at the University of Kentucky...We are enternally grateful to have been graced with the presence of this great man...GO CATS!
I don't know if there was ever a person who didn't like him or respect him. he was a great man, and still is to this day, even if he is not here with us physically, spiritually he will stay with us always. i played baskteball for a long time now, and everytime i watched uk and saw him, well my insperation to keep playing was always there.we will continue to forever love you "Mr. Wildcat", may your soul rest in Heaven above. "Whatever I've done, i'll wake up in the morning, and i shall continue"
I think Kentucky Basketball is what Mr.Wildcat was. I went to Midnight Madness and his daugther and his fellow helpers were there to pay a tribute and they play this video. I almost cried. R.I.P Mr.Wildcat.

I'm an LSU fan but as a fellow coach I have great respect for this man. Coaching is one of the greatest things i have ever gotten the chance to do. As a coach this is so inspirational because i ask God to help me lead my players in the right direction. Good coaches win games, but great coaches care for thier players welfare. Coaches like this is what makes the SECso great. with the exeption of Nick Satan. lol Yall know it.

I'm an LSU fan, but i have great respect for this man. I'm going to college to be a coach and a good coach wins games, a great coach also cares about his players welfare. I also ask God for strength to lead my players in the right direction. Coaching is the greatest thing i have done in my life so far.

Mr. Keightley has been on the court watching UK history being made. He is and will continue to be a part of UK basketball. I cannot image what it will feel like at the first game next season to see that empty chair. Thanks for all you have done for UK basketball.
I cried and cried. He was also in the One shining moment
