This is the only video on Youtube that has to do with Katerina Giannikou. Why? I was looking for a song named Naziares Kouklitses. I don't speak greek. Can someone translate that for me? This video is so sad. I don't like saying farewell/goodbye. :/
It's beautiful! I bought Elisa's CD when I was in bretagne two years ago or so, but I didn't know she taught too. Did you learn it by hearing during the workshops or is there sheet music available somewhere? I wish I could go to one of her workshops, but I don't think she'll come to the Netherlands soon, if ever.
Sorry... I trata mas I kourelou is amazing... Such a moving song if you understand the words and you play it beautifully.... Efharisto paro paro poli gia adding Afto clip.... Eisai teleia! Kisses from greece
Hey, thanks for posting a new video for us, as always a pleasure to watch and listen! Shame to change the harp but needs must, can you post up a video when the new one arrives?
as regards the camera maybe you can plug in an external mic or something?
Good job, kiddo! When are you getting a Lyon & Healy?
I don't mind the sound quality, but your music really deserves better, you know. Until you get a better setup, I suggest moving the camera farther away from you so the microphone doesn't distort, while adjusting the zoom to a close-up. That way, it's the same view as in this video, but less jangly audio.
Many great thanks to all of you for your heart-warming comments and encouragements! :)
I feel honoured that you appreciate this video as my camera unfortunately gives back a terrible, distorted sound... And yes, it is sad that I have to leave my harp since I can't afford buying a new one without selling the former (and don't have enough room).
As CurzonRoad said, every dark cloud has its silver lining, I know I've made the right choice.
Thank you Charlaine, your music is so hauntingly beautiful and touching. It´s so sad that you have to say farewell to your old harp.
Would it be too expensive to keep your old harp together with your new one? Just as remembrance to the days you have passed and the ways you have gone so far.
Beautiful.... wonderful.... many thanks to Charlaine72 for this most lovely posting, and to beforedawn57 for sharing! PS: Every dark cloud has a silver lining!

Ooooh Charlaine, c'est si triste, cet adieu! La première harpe est toujours une amie très chère...
Mais maintenant, pour ta musique et ta nouvelle petite harpe, bonne chance! Je t'embrasse!
