Sorry to burst your bubble there, but seeing as I am a person who has played both the SNES and Sega Genesis versions of the game, the graphics are a little better on the SNES version but the game is also slightly slower on there as well than it is on the Sega Genesis. The music tends to be a bit rougher around the edges on the Sega Genesis version than it is on the SNES version. However, both versions are about dead even when it comes to gameplay, so, when push comes to shove, the SNES wins.

you probably need to mess with the sample rate on your emulator. try setting it to the highest (48000)
