Ive recently started exercising 3 days a week. I go every 3 days with a buddy of mine to the gym and i bring my kettlebell with me. Ive mixed both kettlebells and weightlifting in our local gym. i never see anyone in there. its like a ghost town in there and im surprised i havent seen a tumbleweed roll through.
@visuallyblind09 the best gyms I've trained in were like that. hole in the wall places where you can strength train without people getting in the way. olympic and deadlifting platforms are the best things for gyms and the ones that have them are typically vacant
@rockbodyfitness I like my gyms empty. i live in a town of 1200 and our weight room has 6 machines, 1 squat bar, 1 pull up bar, and 3 flat benches and 1 incline. they have recently redid the floor built a sturdier floor and rubber mats on top. i find it difficult to use the gym when there is like 4 people in it. everyone wants to bench. i took my kettlebell today and my friend fell in love with it almost instantly. i left my weights on the incline bench 2 days ago and it was still there today.
@visuallyblind09 it sounds pretty well stocked. in my gym (my garage) i have a bunch of kettlebells and a pull up bar and that's pretty much all i need. in the studio where i work my partner has a deadlift bar along with a bunch of other stuff. kettlebells, pull up bar, deadlift bar and of course body weight and i'm ready to rock
@rockbodyfitness A friend and myself we were going to turn my garage into a gym but it fell through. My garage is bigger than our gym and my house. Lots of areas for pull up bars and equipment.
