  • EBJ fucked up real bad

  • daniel made a donk call, he say that he thought he was beat and only had a heart draw, so he made a bad call and got lucky that he run into a bluff and then got lucky with heart. thats just typical the bad play wins again

  • Seriously? You think he thought he was beat? Do you ever watch Negreanu play poker? And do you understand why he is saying what he is saying? He is getting a read from this guy by suggesting hands he might have and picking up on subtle body language in order to pick up tells (a minor twitch, a look to the left etc). By the time he makes the call he is pretty sure the guy is bluffing, and it's a value call anyway, as he was the chip leader at the time. That's how you win tournaments!

  • @Zee96969696 how can he only have a heart draw?? What about the straightdraw??

  • helluva read, helluva call

  • He had a monster-draw, It was an "easy" call

  • In accurate title..Not a good read he figured he had Q's the whole time..He called based on pot odds great call not a great read!!

  • wow nice!

  • danny got him to talk and when he spoke he was appeared weak

  • he had so many outs 3 aces 3 kings 4 jacks 9 hearts = 19 minus ace of hearts and jack of hearts =17 outs 52 - 6 = 46 100/46*17=36.95 he had 36.95% to catch something + the possibility that the raiser was bluffing making A high good enough easy call
  • he was in it for the donk, "its only a million"

  • Daniel reminds me of Edward norton here lolol. Nice read !!!

  • Oh well it is only a million! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?!?!?!?!?

  • pretty sick all in to be honnest I really like how he had ballz to do it. I think if daniel was shorter he might not have called

  • I don't know why but Daniel reminds me of Edward Norton on American History X.

He's already got the goatee-just shave his head and there you go...Derek Vineyard lol

  • It wasn't a good read. He made the call because he had outs and he could suckout, simple as that.

  • @RRindustry absolutely..;and i would not say it s a good call.

  • Press F13 for HD

  • so he would have made the flush anyways? lol pointless read.

  • How was it a great read.......Daniel stated over and over he was probably beat. What Daniel did was take a chance and gambled most likely because of his flush draw and straight draw and a few other outs.

  • @cdubmeyer It wasn't even a read. If I am not mistaken daniel thought he was up against 3 queens. But I think it was a good call in this situation.

  • Woohoo Go Daniel!!

  • No good read. He thought he is beat...

  • "eh, it's only a million"

  • damn i somehow disliked -.-

  • that ed guy made a bad play like u gotta put it in a perspective that u r playing on live and ur going all in for a hand with really low outs

  • @RunOverFatLady Lulz at this.

  • sick

  • Il più grande di tutti!!!

  • It was actually a poor read by Daniel's standards, but a great call.

  • Dumb Ass! 1 Million Chips on a freaking 7-8!?!? WTF!! Are you CRAZY?

  • @OneElection08 He was betting that no one else had a queen or a 10 since no one bet it and was praying that no one else had a heart. IF both of those assumptions were right, pushing in there might have convinced the others that he had hit the flush which was what he was hoping for. At this level of poker, it's more about playing on what your opponents THINK you have, as opposed to playing your actual cards.

It was a good play but he gave it away a little bit by how eager he acted.

  • @Doublemac88 wow that's so fucking funny!!! Not. What are you 9? Oh no wait you're a 23 year old you immature idiot

  • 1:19 "so, three way action here"

  • Why?

  • was this recorded by a toaster?

  • @micib0y i would by that toaster

  • @micib0y

yup made my toast from it too

  • @micib0y no it was recorded with a potato !

  • @micib0y if toaster recorded it, I wonder what recording device did he use

  • @kombajndosalatek Lol xD

  • @micib0y no with your ass!!!

  • 1:17 Three-way action lolo

  • You can see the fear in the opponent's face. Probably an easy call as the chip leader. The guy was shitting bricks the longer Negreanu talked to him.

  • Im no expert but the title is pretty misleading.. this was not a good read.. he put him on 3 queens he fukin said it good call nonetheless

  • @BigSAK88 Negreanu says a lot of things he doesn't mean when he's playing. It may seem like he made an incorrect read but actually Daniel was fishing for a tell. He threw out the line about his opponent having a set like a baited hook. His opponent's reaction (eye movement, facial tic) had the same effect as if his opponent would have turned-over his cards and said, "I got nothing".

Classic tactic, great read, incredible execution by a master.

  • everyone knows how to play a good strategy! but there are other important things you gotta do if you wanna play like these guys! check out the ebook SECRET ADVANTAGES OF A POKER PRO. its a great book that can only improve your game. • 2:49 NOSE PICKING!!!

  • He could afford it and he was getting 3:1 - same as his odds. 50/50 on whether you call or not - Okkk - 50 50 and you can afford it and knock out someone from the final table - ended up being a good call but was questionable since he thought he was beat.

  • how did he not snap call like for real

  • The call is great, the read is not though, as he got it completely wrong, a correct read would be a bluff, which, if he had read that, it wouldn't have taken him more than 5 seconds to call.

  • @Viruzzz ur so right. daniel kept saying he knew he was beat n everyone at the table and the announcers were saying what a great call. when daniel talks out loud he says exactly what he thinks. he thought he was beat but had 2 draws that could win it for him and the pot was small enough for him to make the call, thats why he called, not bc he made a great read. unless, possibly, daniel got a read on the quick 'all in' call acting strong or when the other guy said 'about 1 mil 45 thou' nervously

  • He has got 8 high? Oh I can beat that xD

    Daniel is the best!

  • against 99 chance to win is about 40%, against T? 35%, against JJ, KK - 30%, against QK, QA, AA - 25%, QJ, A of hearts- 18%, ready flush - 16%

There are 3 mln pot size and Danny should put 1 mln=25% of pot. So, only QJ and flush (or A of hearts) is mathematically not favourable. or unbelievable QT, TT, 44 hoping to see flush at opponent... but i would probably fold here...

  • Daniel doesn't put himself in front on turn and makes the other guy on a hand like 88, 99, JJ even KQ etc where he still has outs vs and drawing strong still... obv

  • Man, i bet if there was a filter in which only people who have played poker with real money could post, we would have 0 comments. Stop lying to yourself guys, save your stupid comment and enjoy well played poker hands like this one.

  • Think its funnt how people say this is such a great call. Hes getting 3 to 1 on a call and he has to think he has 19 outs and quite possible he stilll has the best hand! Pretty standard call I think

  • @christinakeane: he put the guy on 3 queens, he wouldn't think he had 17 outs with the ace or king - he probably counted 12 with the hearts and jacks. he'd need a lot more than 3-1 for it to be a proper call. he knew he was gambling

  • hes a fish!!! lol

  • "only a million" wow.

  • a) DN´s call was right because the pot-odds

    b) even i could have read this other guys face, it said: "oh, no i´m such an idiot, why did i throw it ALL away trying to bluff the best mindreader in the ppokerworld? i just wanna die ..."

  • Man these rigged sites should be banned!!

  • it's only a million

  • unreal how 4 people could so misplay a hand all at once playing for this much money

  • @neighborhoodgasman Nobody played that wrong, what are you on about

  • this was not a very good call.. its standart!..

my guess Daniel putted the other guy in a Queen and made de final call expecting a heart or a jack the pot odds allowed him to do so.

HE SURE NOT made this call thinking he was ahead..

  • @Manolobartolo you are absolutely right

  • just because sexton says its a sick call doesnt mean so

  • @knaxon Edward Norton

  • @bun182 Thats some good math derrr!

  • thats not a good call, thats a fishy call he just wanted to hit his draw, i bet if he didnt have K of hearts he wouldnt call that.

  • @udlock9

Yeah if he was being honest with what he said. I do think he thought the other guy had him beat.

  • @udlock9 considering his opponent gave off strong body language of a bluff, you think so?

  • "you got 8 high? ouuuuuuuu I can beat that hehehehehe" lmao haha

  • Daniel is a mythical poker god.

  • I don't understand why this is called "a good read", because Daniel obv reads him as strong - which he isn't.

He calls because of the odds, which is arguable because we don't see the stack sizes and the payout structure.

  • @ZakMcKrackEm He needs to put 1 mill into a 3 million dollar pot. Even against a set he's getting decent odds to call with 14 outs. Against any lower pair, he's getting more than decent odds to call. There's nothing really "arguable" about it.

  • @brainlesswonder It's arguable in that way, that if his opponent has the Q he was reading him on, he gets 1 to 3 on call and has odds for 1 to 4. So he hasn't the correct odds to make the call. BUT ... as i've said we have no idea about e.g. the stack sizes and payout structure in this situation. So no correct decision can be made from here by both of us.

What i just wanted to point out was: the video is called "good read" but it was a false read.

No offense to Daniel - who is a great player!

  • @ZakMcKrackEm

    Daniel's odds are 3:1 with 12 outs not 4:1. 4:1 would be about 10 outs not 12.

  • @Nick9167235473783 Love u all, experts! If his oppenent has a Q he doesn't have 12 outs, because either some of his flush and/or his straight outs are dead. Eg his winning percentages are 23.4 against a Q8 and only 17.1 against a QJ. That's 4:1 or less than 5:1 for 3:1 call.

    Do the math.

  • @Nick9167235473783 one of the jacks is a heart though

  • A good call, but he didn't exactly read him right.

  • How is the read good? He read him for 3 queens.

  • @willywonder1

He said "I think you've got three queens." but not because he really thought so. Negreanu just likes to talk. He claims to know what hand you have or asks you some kind of question (like "Does that sound good to you?" after the chips were counted) and the only reason is for him to watch your reactions. By the time Negreanu called the all-in he was pretty sure ED had nothing or a very weak hand.

  • @SealOfHatred

I can see your reasoning behind it and I can certainly see and have seen DNeg question like this and fish for info, he's one of the best in the game at it. But here he is clearly surprised when ED turns over the 8 high. But we're BOTH just guessing, unless you have spoken to DNeg recently.

  • @willywonder1

    Still a good call, though.

  • sickk mann daniel is a good milf hunter

  • he had 12 outs meaning he had about 26 to 28 % chance of winning and that is if you dont put him on a ace high flush. His pot odds were 3:1 meaning he had to be good about 33 % of the time or he had to have more taht 33% chance of improving. Soo with his outs combined with the possiblity of him bluffing that call wasnt like a hero call or something.

  • @tommyXBOX360 everyone's a poker expert on youtube

  • @RetardTE It doesn't take an expert to read a false smile dumb ass. It's common sense that most amateurs will try to seem strong, when they are bluffing. That's why Daniel knew he was bluffing. The slight grin, the assertive yes to his question. You have no idea how deep the psychological aspect of this game goes, but you can post a sarcastic remark like "Everyone's a poker expert on youtube" to validate that I'm right about your insecurity. Someone didn't get hugged enough as a kid huh?

  • @greenjack792 lol umad?

  • @greenjack792 your face smells like poop.

  • @greenjack792 Holy fuck you have issues. Go play your SC2 nerd.

  • @RetardTE Why u such a donk.

  • Comment removed

  • @tommyXBOX360 if you get 3 to 1 you only have to win 25% of the time. 3 times you loose 1m to get 3m and 1 time you win 3m. so your even. with 33% you need at least 2 to1. so the call was better than u thougt. the only problem is that his all in was only half pot, so he would shove a boat too, hoping daniel can call with his draws,

  • @killerkombokalamari i meants 1/3 chanse so like 33,333 percent soo that makes my story plausible

  • Comment removed

  • @tommyXBOX360

While you are mostly correct, he actually only needs 25%, not 33%, for the call to be correct.

  • @kingofcupcakes Back then I always was wrong about translating pot odds into percentages, I though 2:1 means 50 % while it means 33,333 , at least I know that now.

  • "Many pro's would lay down AK here"... at a 6 handed table; get real Sexton!

  • @martayd88 I think about folding in daniel's spot, I definitely fold the second AK.

  • unbelievable

  • He have no balls, he have out to close straight and color.

  • Daniel have BALLS!

  • that wasent a good read he just had the right pot odds to call

  • ... daniel is really good....the man is right you shouldn't talk to him....

  • Man he is so lucky, borrow some to me, haha I need it

  • eh w.e. its JUST one million

  • "saws he was bluffing..." wtf Sexton, didn't you just see the whole hand?. Daniel was calculating the whole time and he was the chip leader. He had many outs. And him saying he was definately beat it doesn't mean he really believe he was, it's smart to say it since you see your opponent's reaction. He might thought he was beat at the turn but probably not by trips, eventhough he said it.

    A great call.

  • i wouldnt say borderline. he had bout 20% chance of flush, 10% for straight, good pot odds(1 mil for 4 mil about 20%), and read that guy like a book so overall not a hard call for him haha!

  • @lepreconstellmestuff what to u mean he had 20% chance of fluch and 10% for a straight. how do u know? how do u calculate the precentage and chances of hitting ur hand? can u help me with that..

  • @TFPhenominal sure. cant help you with exact odds but easiest formula is after the flop you multiply the number of outs by 4. and after turn multiply them by 2. in the vid, there were 8 possible hearts in the deck that could complete the flush, multiply 8 and 2 and you got about 16% and any of the 4 jacks could give him a straight so 4 multiplied by 2 is 8% hope this helps man

  • @lepreconstellmestuff thx, helped alot bro.

  • That is a common bluff. If your paying attention to each player from the start, you'll know if they have it. Its a 'high emotion' bluff.

Lmao Daniel just psychs the shit out of them.
