Why would anyone leave their children unlocked? Even with a locked door people can enter if they know the parents moves. This, being an abduction, was carefully thought of. Well... The disappearance of Maddie is the parents responsibility. The police proved that there is almost no doubt that the girl died in the apartment. Why do the parents not concede the reconstruction for further investigation? Nobody could have got rid of the body so fast and at the same time not fully cleaning the blood.

One scenario: They wanted to ensure that the kids would stay asleep and not wake while they were out, so they sedated them. Madeleine died from a sedative overdose. They couldn't face the truth that they'd killed their daughter, so came up with the abduction story. Kate picked up the body and put it in the car. They disposed of it somewhere later that night. I think they actually started to believe in the abduction story because it was psychologically easier to deal with.

I would like to think the child came to a peaceful end. I fear she may not have done. Why would anyone leave their children unlocked? Even with a locked door people can enter if they know the parents moves. This, being an abduction, was carefully thought of. Well... The disappearance of Maddie is the parents responsibility. The police proved that there is almost no doubt that the girl died in the apartment. One scenario: They wanted to ensure that the kids would stay asleep and not wake while they were out, so they sedated them. Madeleine died from a sedative overdose. They couldn't face the truth that they'd killed their daughter, so came up with the abduction story. Kate picked up the body and put it in the car. They disposed of it somewhere later that night. I think they actually started to believe in the abduction story because it was psychologically easier to deal with.

I would like to think the child came to a peaceful end. I fear she may not have done. Jane Tanner tried to impilcate Murat. The two sightings of a man with a child are completely incompatiable, not only in terms of description, but in terms of geography and timelines. Even if they WERE compatible as tpac has tried to make out, you are still left with the fact that the dogs did not react at Murat's place. @Tpac1O Oh it was down to the search teams to search was it? Perhaps they should have told this to the locals when they went jogging past.them. They should have told them to stop taking time off work and leaving it to the police. Yes, I'm aware that they gave posters out. And the PJ did search before Harrison's "late arrival". It was the biggest manhunt in Portugese criminal history. All Harrison did was re-direct the search and advised the PJ to start searching for a dead body.

The uneducated tillie refers to the notion as 'codswallop' which in itself is very suspicious as it portrays a very defensive stance. There has even been someone previously on another vid who has claimed that the Gaspars statement is the jealous retort of a spurned woman. They either ignore evidence as irrelevant, give excuses for evidence with no logical basis, or if all else fails they resort to changing the subject completely and attack Amaral as a last resort to cover for their inability to provide a coherent argument. They have asked for the case to be "reviewed" as opposed to be "re-opened" They did not ask specifically and have never asked specifically for Scotland Yard to do the "reviewing". In fact early on this farce, they asked for Scotland Yard to be replaced by the Leicestershire Police. They've never done any searching for in four years, they were too busy out jogging even at the outset whilst the locals were frantically doing the searching for them CONT.
