  • Haha, cool. I used vegas!

  • great video but i didnt really know what was happening

  • Really cool!!...

  • seriousley WOW! that was sick bro, i just wish u dressed up a bit.

  • thanks, i'll try to find some costumes next time!

  • Wow ,, related videos- 300cc 12 Elan skipping water.. wadahel

  • looks like shawn has an afro

  • lol shawns hair awesome

  • do you use after effects as well? do you take classes on video editing? you're really good. I subbed.

  • thanks, and yeah I use after effects, but I didn't use it for this movie actually! and no, I don't take classes for anything, just try to learn it myself, hah. thanks!

  • Cool video,

    great FX and action.

  • You never responded to the messages I sent back to you about a month ago. Oh well. I must say, this is definitely an improvement in your work. Though the directing and the acting especially, not to insult your friends, could be a lot better, the editing stood practically flawless. You're building up your ability to create suspense and I applaud you on that. Get back to my messages and we'll discuss it a bit more.

  • I thought I messaged you back!?

Oh well, thanks! It was really rushed so I spent a lot of time editing to get as much as I could out of the footage as you can see.

  • What program do you use? I think I'm going start making videos of my own soon, starting with a Jackass parody for an intro for my school's morning announcements. :]

  • Sony Vegas 8, it's a good program, recommend it!

    Good luck with you videos!

  • u didnt do teh scene yet did you?

  • hey wassup man that was a great movie

  • hey, finally back! haha. thanks!

  • ya i am back i was gone because my computer didnt work

  • Very exiting! Nice editing and music that makes the movie much better. Keep it up! :D

  • Aron do yur SCENE!!!! WHEN YOU R SHOOTING AOAC, DO THE SCENE!!

  • AOAC is already done man; I'll do the scene whenever I get a chance; you don't need it that bad, your not even finished the movie, geez.

  • MY NAME IS NOT ARON!

    hahah.

  • get on msn

  • not bad, cinematgography is good, whoever was on camera knew what he was doing as well as editing, very good setting and story however, if you do pursue film you will get the chance to work with hired actors. People who are 30-50 and look the way the director wants them to look. overall great job!

  • yeah, I'm only 14 and I my friends are the actors, haha. Thanks!

  • What state do you live in?

  • not a state, haha. I live in Canada in Newfoundland. Not a common place for filmmakers I must say.

  • Wow sorry Aaron i finally found some time to watch this. well to start off, i though the editing looked awesome! grading was very well done too. The music fit in nicely and acting wasnt bad. Overall pretty sick film man. Peace-

    brett p. - bp productions

  • Thanks man, I didn't think the footage was that great so I focused on editing a bit more.

  • the constructive criticism that i can give you is:

    1. get a tripod.

    2. make a stalizer.

    3. add more lighting to indoor shots.

    4. and lastly, adjust the contrast. thats whats really important, in the outdoor scenes its hard to see a lot of the details because the contrast is too high.

thats all the advice i can give that no one else has said, dan.

  • thanks, I do have tripod, and I am using it for a film we are probably shooting tommorow; and yes, I did change the contrast at the last second and I kind of regret doing that now, because it looks a little too bright.

But thanks, I learned a lot from the process of making this film; and it's great to know that people are supporting and giving constructive critism. I've never gotten comments as good as these!

Thanks everyone, all of your ideas are being used!

  • yeah no problem. what do you mean though? you fixed the contrast but its still bright?

  • no, I had that done at first, the contrast lower; but I changed it at the last second and it turned out looked a bit weird.

    Thanks.

  • It was ALright... same stuff as usual lol. I liked the how you pu like those still scenes of Teh Woods. Nice. Yeah...Reflex is turning out pwnage. We need your scene Aaron!! And Ghaskle!! lol. Oh and we are shooting anoher movie as well. Its like " Cinque De Anees PLutard ".

  • yeah, it's just meeh; just a casual start before we get into deh big stuff, thanks. I'm still doing exams, we have other stuff to do you KNOW! Good luck on your new movie!

AOAC is shooting tommorow, should be interesting.

  • thanks for promoting it!

  • Do your scene too!! PLEASE!!! We got he new comp working.

  • AFTER exams, I've got an idea for a movie to start writing, and when we film it I'll shoot it then.

  • Awesome, it turned out good. Better then I expected it to, it seem really rushed when we filmed it.

  • I'm offically calling it the worst shoots we've ever had, we were like everywhere, and the rain too gaah. I also need a new battery because it kept freaking running out! Haha.

  • -you're a pretty good action director in terms of your frantic cuts in combat sequences. but suffice it to say, i do agree with jake.

-the periodic cuts to the outer parameters of the woods was a nice touch i thought...it added a sense of style and suspense in a somewhat subtle way.

-acting is also decent enough for a film like this. but it'd be nice to see a new genre from you guys, cos like the aforementioned comment your plots have been pretty much recycled from previous flicks.

    -nice job.

  • I'm really loving the constructive critism and I agree with it all; I've talked to my actors and we're all agreeing that are next film will be scripted, planned out, have a longer shooting squedule and will be more then just a shooting action movie with dialouge made up on the spot. So you can definetly look forward to that!

    Thanks!

  • Next time make a scripted and a good story line, It'll be great

  • that's exactly what we're doing, thanks!

  • great, but you need better costumes for ur actors

  • I scouted everywhere for costumes before the shoot but it was too expensive; but I'll put more work into that next time, thanks!

  • it is expesnive trust me, but worth it.

  • what is, a tripod?

  • if so, theres a cool one that jashan17 uses that I plan on investing in; along with a new battery, (battery life pretty much screwed up a lot of this movie) and if I can get enough saved, seeing that I have a summer job now, I may possibly get a new camera as well. :)

  • It was pretty good. Little bit too shaky, dialogues were really "Limited" and basic. MAKE A SCRIPT!lol. Story was the same ol' thing you always do, hah. What happened to the quality? You use the mpg thing I showed you?

  • mpg thing? you mean the mp4 thing? I did, and I thought the qual turned out pretty good. Yeah I also agree with everything you said, we just vomited up crappy dialogue on the spot.

You could almost call this a test movie though, because we just wanted to start off simple before we started to move into more complicated stuff.

THANKS. AOAC shooting tommorow. I'd count that as a test movie too, haha.

  • well done guys!

my only critique is that when theres a large cast of people like that, the fast pace and quick cuts between shots make it kind of hard for the viewer to interpret the two different "sides" you know? other than that it was cool. ive seen you guys mention before this is the last of these kind of videos for a while?? well either way im eager to see you guys experiment with new genres. that will be cool. keep up the great work.

    Jake

  • experimenting is exactly what we plan on doing from now on; and yeah like I said in the description, last time I'm working with 9 people when you have about 5-6 hours to film, it's hard to keep the viewers understanding too.

    It was a rushed project.

    Thanks!

  • haha, evan took my gun and it had no bullets..

  • it did have bullets.

you wouldn't shoot them, pussy. too busy wounded on DA GROUND!

    haha.

  • no during the battle between evan and jake

  • oh,

    leif.

  • lief...

  • Not bad, could of been a bit better in the terms of storytelling. The thing that confused me a bit was the scene the soldiers entered the house. Then I realized that it was a flashback. The guy in the green shirt made a great bad guy as well. I have to say though the movie did end a bit quick though. Other than that, I did add this in my favorites so I can see it again. Great job!

  • THANKS!

I know, it was a rushed project, and we were like, thinking of ideas and plot on the spot; last time we do that. glad you liked it though!

  • No problem. I can't wait to see the remake of Attack of the Clone.

  • It was good, I liked the editing and the scenery was beautiful. It ended way too soon though, I think you could have probably wrote more to it so it lasted longer but it was still fun to watch!

  • yeah, the ending was SUPER rushed because it was getting late and it was pouring, I mean, pouring rain. but thanks!

    and where's mirror?

  • yeha i tried uploading it man and the stupid file was too big so i'm splitting it up!

    should be up this week

  • this was pretty cool

but in some parts the camera was all over the place so i couldn't see what was going on.

oh and i was gonna watch it in high quality but there is no high quality link for it :(

  • yeah, I think this is going to be the last movie with the shaky camera work, not everyone adjusts to it, but thanks! I'll put a high quality link there now.
