1. A state has the right to have a police force, but can only enforce laws as long as they do not disregard the Constitution, State or local laws. In the case of Ramos and Compean I have seen enough evidence that was withheld from the jury to believe these men may be innocent.
2. The Constitution says the Congress can have an army for two years, then after two years they can vote to keep an army.

U.S. Attorney Johnny Sutton claimed the bullet was traced to officer Ramoss weapon. Sutton also claimed the illegal alien was unarmed and officer Ramos shot him in the back, taking the word of an illegal drug smuggler over the word of our border patrol. The only report needed was a verbal report since Compean was not badly wounded.

3) There WERE drugs recovered at the scene
4) The jury DID have info withheld from them about the drug smuggler and they WERE told how to decide the case.

The relative harmlessness of marijuana is a side issue. The Mexican who was shot was as much a threat as a guy driving a Bud Light truck. The border agents, on the other hand, made a living hunting innocent human beings. From this alone, it seems ridiculous that the marijuana smuggler should be punished while the agents are not. Why does the right hail these guys as heroes? These guys shot the unarmed Mexican national in the back as he ran toward the boarder, and then failed to report the incident. Should they be in prison? No, but they are still guilty for shooting an unarmed man and obstruction of justice, they should still be faced with fines and community service and should never be able to have law enforcement careers again. Plus there would be no smugglers of non-toxic herbs if it was legal.

Fleeing and threatening are actions that are contradictory. You cannot flee and also be threatening. Saying that he saw a "glinting" metal object in his hand is a cop out. The guy had bullet entries in his buttocks, a sign that his back was turned when he was shot. Officers Ramos and Compean are serving eleven and twelve years, respectively, for shooting an illegal drug smuggler named Osbaldo Aldrete-Davila, whom the agents said, pointed a gun-looking object at them. The agents fired and possibly hit the drug smuggler in the left hip the bullet lodging in the right hip. The illegal alien ran off. He was given amnesty a few months later to testify against our agents. He has since been caught bringing drugs into the U.S. but he was given amnesty.

Some of the jurors said they would have voted not guilty had evidence not been withheld. Why was evidence withheld from the jury?
Ramos and Compean shot a man who pointed a gun looking object at them. They did not make a written report because officer Compean was not thought to be wounded badly enough for it to be necessary so they just made a verbal report.

The bullet taken from Aldrete-Davilas right hip was in too bad of condition to be traced to a specific brand of firearm much less a specific weapon. U.S. Attorney Johnny Sutton claimed the bullet was traced to officer Ramoss weapon. Sutton also claimed the illegal alien was unarmed and officer Ramos shot him in the back, taking the word of an illegal drug smuggler over the word of our border patrol. The only report needed was a verbal report since Compean was not badly wounded.

There's a word for theses two guys... its called dirty. The fact that someone attempted to smuggle drugs into the U.S. doesn't automatically make these guys innocent. There are no good guys to root for in this entire situation. As sworn federal law enforcement officers they are held to a higher standard. They shot an unarmed fleeing suspect, tampered with a crime scene, destroyed evidence and filed false reports. End of story.

FACTS!
1) The supervisor was eventually there on the scene- there was NO NEED to report it to him because HE KNEW. R&C thought the super was going to log the report fully for them but that procedural part didn't happen- a minor infraction.
2) Assailant FOUGHT with the border patrol agent PRIOR to FLEEING the scene of incursion.
3) There WERE drugs recovered at the scene
4) The jury DID have info withheld from them about the drug smuggler and they WERE told how to decide the case.

I'm ready for the revolution. My advice is to load up on firearms, take firearm classes, and join a militia. That's the self defense part of it. Also, start getting deeply involved with your community. We need to all work together at the grassroots level and start weeding out this government one agency at a time. It will only work if we start at the grassroots level, and it could take a generation to finish, unfortunately.
