Haha man as soon as you said"this could be very interesting" i was like, i got doubt about that hahaha! That cat is insane lol. tried to bite ya face of lol. but yeah i agree you should have put some music on haha =D Metallica!!
last time i gave my cat a bath was like 3 years ago, it use to be outdoor cat but after i moved it never wants to go outside now, so no more bug issues.. and i did not cut its nails so it can defend itself outside... but damn those baths where painfull... FOR ME! :{ my arms... hands.. face.. its like i got into a fight with... a god damn cat!! >_<
Too bad you lack an ocean around, you know; salt water (especially cold) will make a inhospitable place for fleas, tho you'll have more luck with a dog retrieving a ball for instance & jumping in
Years ago I used to live on Humarock Mass.& befriended all the neighbored mutts around, 1 named Taffy, a Golden Retriever enjoyed swimming among ice bergs in the winter (& rarely had a "scratchy moment" meanwhile dogs didn't share the same pastimes as she, therefore were fleabags!
@marcelstjean I wouldn't know about that, but if you could acquire natural sea water that would certainly be ideal (atleast for dogs it works), you might also like to add some apple cider vinegar (malt stuff), I'd go with a qt. per gallon so baby tub lol
The sea salt bath, daily or weekly is best (ask your kitty?)
You probably already know about it but there's this great product for Cats and Dogs called "Revolution" and it protects against fleas and heartworm for many months at a time. Just a few drops on the back of your pet's neck and that's it! Only problem is that Revolution is kind of pricey :(
Ain't nothing like a wet pussy. Yeah, I just said that. lol. ~ Hey man, hope she feels better, fleas suck. The bath will be well worth it once they're gone.
I had to do the same thing this summer bro with two of our outdoor kittens. I got the shit tore out of me too. Fun stuff but you gotta do what ya gotta do. Dishsoap works pretty good, none of that shit you get a walmart does plus it can poison your cats anyway. If she still has fleas after this let me know. Maybe I can hook you up with some Frontline for her.
You are a Great Pet Owner Marcel, I had to put my cat down earier this year she was 15 years old and her kidneys were failing, It was sad to see her go....
ahh.. well, my cats hate it too, but they need it sometimes.. mine are just getting over fleas. and they're indoor cats of 9 yrs. i think i brought em in on my clothing over the summer. was a bitch getting rid of em!
did u find any fleas in the tub? and if she wears that cone, how dose she clean her self?
4HitsWilystyle 1 year ago 2

@marcelstjean yea, I felt the same way about declawing.
but my cat shredded my leather couch and love seat, then she was tearing up my new carpet, tried giving her to a good home but had no luck.
was a last resort, plus she never goes outside, she is 100% a spoiled indoor cat.
