@HG601 Haven't touched this code in a couple years. Search Amazon.com for "XNA Game Studio Express: Developing Games for Windows and the Xbox360". This book has some pretty decent sample stuff for a basic particle system if you're interested.
There are tons more resources available online, I'm sure!

Someone on here asked if it was hardware accelerated. I'm not doing any calculations on the GPU if that's what you're asking.

of course it looks good.. there's 6000+ active particles. 200 for most games for any given effect is pushing it..
