How can the chap on the right talk about nutrition when he is fat as fuck? He agrees however efas are important because he is a fucking essential fatty arse sloth!! Lol
hello guys nice video and i got a question..im 18 i do sport and i workout and i dont eat fish that much and i was thinking on buying one of these Udo's oil but i dont know which one i sgood for me and suggestions? and thanks
Thanks for all the info. I just bought this stuff and was hoping for a little more information also dosage suggestions and you cleared everything up for me. Thanx! Glad I bought it.
I take Carlson's Finest Fish Oil Liquid (lemon). I have just started taking it and most of what I have seen online seems straight legit. Have you all seen this oil "liquid"? The EPA and DHA are very high in the liquid as oppossed to caps. The taste is not fishy at all. SO far so pleased.
@MisterMannerisms it's OK however it is still undergoes molecular distillation which requires heat that adversely effects the fats. We recommend Minami Nutrition fish oils as they sure a CO2 extraction process which is performed at a much lower temperature. They also deliver twice the EPA and DHA per cap than others. We have a video on it if you are interested.
@celpabedn wow that's an informed, intelligent opinion. If you have a specific issue you would like to raise we are happy to address it. Do you have any or do you just like to be a contrarian and make general insults?
@BestPriceNutrition well if you two would make intelligent statements that would have proof testimonials and maybe even lab tests ok, but this looks like a garage sale of fitness products!
If you do not have blood tests of people using products it looks like you will sell to 60+, but informed people want more...
@celpabedn we do actually quote research throughout, this hardly pie in the sky. Go to the various nutrition and medical journals and look up omega 3 fatty acids and their effects. "Looks like garbage" is your opinion based on what? your opinion? Product testimonials are much more marketing nonsense than anything. We judge supplements based on peer reviewed research, not anecdotal experience. You should check out our video on how we judge supplements and your opinion may change.
@BestPriceNutrition Well once you are not just a buyer and start to read books and papers on nutrition from doctors, two guys who look like they just came out of the shed and take this more like a hobby does not look convincing...
@celpabedn More opinions based on petty personal jabs, again you claim to be someone who appreciates empirical evidence and talks around it, yet you present none. So who is it that reads medical journals here?? Right.
@BestPriceNutrition that is true i do not present them since i for one did not claim or prescribe stuff over the net just to make a buck, while not personally having done research or tested the products...
i know the next scene when you guys film is when Frank Costanza comes in a you all celebrate Festivus.
@celpabedn "while not personally having done research or tested the products" in spite of admitting ignorance you stick to your original premise. Anyways thanks for watching.
Also if u think those oils u cant keep them at room temp, while saturated fats will keep good at room temperature.. and us,humans, are warm blooded so saturated fats are good as do not go rancid! check Ray Peat website and u'll know more! all the best!!
sure i get what u say.. but also gotta think that this Oils were not available 40/50years ago.. Only butter, dripping, ghee, coconut oil, palm oil were available in store and olive oil.. I used those oils be4 and can confirm that when u have high estrogen levels u store those pufas in legs, chest..
If u read the website of Ray Peat u find out that actually this PUFAs are not Good For Us At All!! Only Saturated are good! butter, dripping, egg yolk, cream, coconut oil, raw cheese, cacao butter! PUFAs go Rancid! And I Dont Want Any Rancid fat in my system!!
@mokugin81 Udo's Oils is fresh pressed, stored in an amber bottle within a box and refrigerated. There is a lot of hyperbole surrounding the effects of polyunsaturated fats.
im 145lbs and looking for healthy fats supplements would you suggest wholemega and udo's blend or udo's dha blend and wholemega either way what doseage would you suggest for my weight
@hicklinc if you take Wholemega, the original Udo's Oil will suffice as you will get plenty of DHA from the Wholemega. 1 tablespoon of Udo's Oil and 2 capsules of Wholemega will suffice.
I don't really get it. I know we need a balance of omega 3s and 6s in our diet . Udo's oil offers it in a 2:1 ratio, which is a good balance. Fine, so far. But as almost everybody consumes too many omega 6s already, then it surely doesn't make sense to supplement with a dose that contains additional quantities of omega 6? It will make it harder to achieve that ideal 2:1 balance when all the omega (not just the supplementary ones) are weighed in total. If I'm wrong, please explain why.
I have a 941ml bottle and it says to take 2tbsp per serving / once per day. I usually take 1 tbsp pwo and 1 tbsp bed time. is this ok or should I day more or less
@63dodged100 since it's a fat it really does not make that much of a difference if you take 2 tablespoons at once or split it up. Pwo probably is not the best time (at least immediately after) as this will slow down the absorption of protein and blunt your insulin response. Perhaps move the pwo serving to the am. Hope this helps.
I'm 30 was at 250 now down to 209 taking oxy elite pro for two months. Now I was told by gmc person taking olio and stacking with oxyelite will maximize weight loss and help toning muscle and tighten. Curious what ya think
@MistaBizkit1980 this is true, EFAs can help decrease body fat and increase lean muscle. with EFAs you have should be very selective as explained in the video.
I'm 230 pounds. I'm getting ready to start taking the 3-6-9 blend. Should I take 4.5 tablespoons a day. And is it ok to take this all at once. Thank you.
@lilwopaho yes you would be fine doing this right away. Please note that is the dosage Flora recommends. If you go this route be sure to reduce your calorie intake from other sources. If you want to start slowly (you don't have to) try 2 tablespoons/day.
@gromon85 the nice thing about the Oceans 3 is the addition of astaxanthin (a carotenoid) and serves as an antioxidant in the body. Overall we do not like fish oils which use sardines and/or anchovies as the source of EFAs. Both of these sources are over fished and everyone using these are using molecular distillation. This process destroys the fats as they are using organic solvents to concentrate EPA and DHA. Currently Minami and New Chapter make fish oils that are not molecularly distilled.
@BestPriceNutrition thanks for the answer. So Barlean's, Nordic Naturals, Garden of Life -that are all supposedly good with low contaminants and oxidation- have rancid fats? I am confused which one to get now ;-(
@gromon85 Garden of Life is now owned by the same company that owns Minami. The best fish oils available right now are New Chapter Wholemega and Minami fish oils. The best non-fish EFA is Flora Udo's Choice. If you are going to use one EFA source we recommend Flora Udo's Choice DHA blend. If you want to dot you I's and cross your T's take Flora Udo's Oil and either Minami or New Chapter fish oil as well. Barlean's is OK however they do not have a blend on par with Udo's oil. Hope this helps.
Hi, this whole this is SO confusing for me. I'm 16 and 200lbs (working on it) and a male. Which one of these would be best for me? What dosing (2 tbsp??). You mentioned something that you take in conjunction with this... what is that? Should I try it?
I love these videos they're so helpful thanks guys!
@IsaacNorwich its really something that is done to dot your I's and cross your T's if you will. To simplify if you want to take just one source of EFAs and cover your bases take the Udo's Choice DHA 3 6 9 Oil Blend. If you want to take it a step further take the original Udo's 3 6 9 Oil Blend and New Chapter Wholemega. Please let us know if you have any other quesions.
great video you guys. You guys offer GREAT information. My question is, if someone is taking the capsule form, which is about 1 gram of fat. For someone who is 175 pounds, how much of say, flaxseed oil/capsules should one take a day? Considering they are actively training in the gym.
@ilmaticxbboy thank you. A good start is one tablespoon or 14g of healthy fats, based on research some people take 1 tablespoon per 50 lbs of body weight. Also please note we recommend Udo's oil which is more than just flaxseed oil. I weigh 185 lbs and take 2 tablespoons. Hope this helps, let us know if you have any other questions.
@rammajamma1993 it depends whether the individual is male or female and is taking a fish oil as well. females are better able to convert ALA to DHA so a female can take the high lignan or original formula without needing a fish oil capsule as well. Males who will use Udo's Choice as their only source of EFAs should take the DHA variety. Hope this helps.

I am cooking 2 eggs in the morning by putting some olive oil in a pan from a clear bottle, is that bad then?
matato007 8 months ago
@matato007 its OK however cooking the oil does tend to alter olive oil, it is better uncooked and added to a salad dressing or something like that.
