the korean version is the first version i had watching and japanese is second..honestly i prefer japanese. japanese version is poor looking =.= except the girl playing tsukushi.. she looks like tiffany from SNSD.. damn cute :) japanese is more natural and funny.. :) just my opinion.. like japanese more and more... btw, i never noe there is BOF chinese version.. sound good and the actors also look hot !! :D

to be honest i think that each version has a more attractive person playing a certain part. like for the girl i think that the japanese version is number 1 and the girl from the korean version is 4, whereas only one person was attractive to me for the leader and that was the guy from the chinese version.

@AbbyCastillano ????matsumoto jun, well,, on my point of view,, jun is too KIND to play the role of tsukasa, he's to "sassy" for it,, there are some scenes wherein he's dropping the tsukasa-look,, the leader of f4, in the story, is a childish, brute, selfish and a rouge young man,, not a "sassy", and not to mention, fragile-looking pretty boy,, maybe, jerry yan, fits the role best,, he possesses the traits of tsukasa(anime).. min ho, too angelic and cute for the role..

In my opinion, the Taiwanese version is the best! It's just that this version was filmed 10 years ago, so the fashion and hairdo sucks. but, if they change the fashion to the modern one, I'm positive this will beat the other versions, because the main characters in Meteor Garden are rather good looking!

best acting out of the girls was Taiwan and Japan, Jan Di kind of sucked all kinds of balls. her acting distracted me a bit. But I thought the Korean version was pretty kick A. If the korean version had either makino or shan cai, then it would have been perfect! i thought shan cai was hilarious, i miss her spontaneous outbursts. :(

Hana Yori Dango, was, in my opinion THE BEST. The whole story came together beautifully. While Boys Over Flowers was amazing also but it seemed rushed, Korean Version had the HOTTEST F4 I have to admit! Metoer Garden Season 1 was good, but I hated how Season 2 dragged on. It was boring! And I have to watch the Chinese version! But all in all I love this story!

I like how all the comments here related to BOF being better is just looks. Seriously people are you all that superficial? Yeah they were hot, but thats all they brought to the show. Their acting was nothing special and the plot went draging on forever.

I like HYD, the story actually made sence, acting was amazing and even though  they wern't the best looking they were aiming for average and I thought they did an amazing job. I fell in love with all the characters. Awsome Job! =)

I'm a Korean myself and really liked Korean version BEFORE watching Japanese one.

The most disappointing was Hyunjoong as Rui. He simply didn't bring out the attractiveness of his role. I guess it's partially because he's a singer.

And even though the Japanese guys were worse looking, it didn't matter because they acted so well I loved them for their role. NOT their looks.

for me japanese and taiwanese was the best because their cast was good and they looks like they were not acting...so natural...i do like korean version but their actors were not acting so good as japanese version...especially minho brought the characters of junpyo..domyoji was the great because his emotion was real and he likes kinda love so much to makino and rui also...jihoo was like so quiet in bof...and that makes me loves more to japanese version...taiwan version was so romantic..<3
