I completely agree with everyone, I still feel though that there was some emotion in the later seasons, but they were few and far between. For instance, Ash's Chimchar was a "reject" of Paul's and then he (as Infernape) helped Ash win his battle against Paul in Sinnoh League Victors. For those who watched Diamond and Pearl, in particular Ash and his Chimchar's struggles...it was a personal victory. It sounds lame, but I felt proud. I'm 21 and I've been watching Pokemon since I was 10.

This song remind me of the time when I tried to evolve my Dragonair in my first pokemon game (Leafgreen). I though he will evolve at Lv 36 like another pokemon but he didn't, however I convinced myself that if I try hard enough he will transform into Dragonite at a certain point and he did at Lv 55. I am so glad. Thank for the song Pokemon :)

Everyone has their ideal Pokémon-Charizard for nostalgiacs and Victini for the later generation for example. The fact that can't be denied is that they are all Pokémon. It's kind of similar to how people see each other in real life, but we're all people. It's sort of natural to hate others of our own kind.
I was just playing SoulSilver while listening to this song. My Poliwhirl was battling this Ursaring, and they're at the same level. My Poliwhirl misses two Hypnosises and screws up a Focus Punch, and my guy is almost down and out, when he finally succeeds in landing a Hypnosis followed by a critical Focus Punch, knocking Ursaring to the ground. And this happened just at the climax of the song. Goddammit, that was beautiful.

Y'know, I don't watch the anime anymore. It's really geared toward younger kids; which is fine! There's nothing wrong with it, I won't go and say "the new seasons suck"; they are and always have been geared toward younger kids. So of course older kids might find them less appealing, while when they were younger the series was great to them, because that was the audience it was geared toward. They may have outgrown the anime, though that doesn't mean they've outgrown the concept.

I got my little cousin who is five years old into pokemon recently. I was sort of surprised when he told me that he had never even heard of pokemon. He didn't care to watch it but I convinced him to and he fell in love with it. I'm glad I could share a part of my childhood with him and it reminds me of when my older cousin showed it to me.

Never really liked the anime. I pay attention to what's caught and by who, and where they are on Serebii but other then that I prefer the manga and games.
After the cross dressing boy Misty left things seemed to look up, but then they made Ash act like a beginner half the time, and in the most recent version, they practically turned him into a beginner again. He even screwed up catching a Pokemon, and somehow, after 4 years, he's still 10 years old.
I am a die hard Pokémon Fan. Pokémon is my number one favorite thing. It's the main thing I played and watch growing up. While most other people are playing Call of Duty and things like that I have been training my Pokémon. Pokémon Trainer Forever!

Thums up if you agree. Old pokemon is & will always be the best cartoon/animation in all of history (This show was popular in nearly every country).
New pokemon sucks they have so many legendarys (50+ 3 years ago) that there not rare, no songs, magical & emotions r gone (Old made kids cry or want to) & had morals. (The 90s kids even say they still feal like crying after so many years.
Good times also the voices of all or most of the charters sounded like kids (soft voices) even the 1s ash met
2nd point- Wrong. I find that the largest group of people who hold this sentiment haven't played the games since the slight disappointment that was Ruby and Sapphire, yet assume that they are the authority on the series based on seniority, rather than the group that has followed it since they saw the very first commercials on the Kids WB in 1998 when they were five. I have to agree with this sediment completely. This song has inspired me to do so much, it's help me move through High School and currently through University to get my Associate's Degree in Web Design/Graphic Design. I currently also lead in Home Runs in an informal pick-up baseball league in my city with 240, averaging 20-30 HRs and 80-100 RBIs a season. I've used the lessons that I learned in school, and still learn to succeed in life. My journey continues, does yours?

Finally the only old pokemon that are shown is ash`s pokemon. New kids will have no idea of what old pokemon look like (New r cute & not cool wile old r cool).

I got my little cousin who is five years old into pokemon recently. I was sort of surprised when he told me that he had never even heard of pokemon. He didn't care to watch it but I convinced him to and he fell in love with it. I'm glad I could share a part of my childhood with him and it reminds me of when my older cousin showed it to me.

Never really liked the anime. I pay attention to what's caught and by who, and where they are on Serebii but other then that I prefer the manga and games.
After the cross dressing boy Misty left things seemed to look up, but then they made Ash act like a beginner half the time, and in the most recent version, they practically turned him into a beginner again. He even screwed up catching a Pokemon, and somehow, after 4 years, he's still 10 years old.
The songs however, are amazing.

Thums up if you agree. Old pokemon is & will always be the best cartoon/animation in all of history (This show was popular in nearly every country).
New pokemon sucks they have so many legendarys (50+ 3 years ago) that there not rare, no songs, magical & emotions r gone (Old made kids cry or want to) & had morals. (The 90s kids even say they still feal like crying after so many years.
Good times also the voices of all or most of the charters sounded like kids (soft voices) even the 1s ash met

2nd point- Wrong. I find that the largest group of people who hold this sentiment haven't played the games since the slight disappointment that was Ruby and Sapphire, yet assume that they are the authority on the series based on seniority, rather than the group that has followed it since they saw the very first commercials on the Kids WB in 1998 when they were five. Bitch. Please.
3rd point- Actually, totally right. The voices were better back in Gens I-II.

I have to agree with this sediment completely. This song has inspired me to do so much, it's help me move through High School and currently through University to get my Associate's Degree in Web Design/Graphic Design. I currently also lead in Home Runs in an informal pick-up baseball league in my city with 240, averaging 20-30 HRs and 80-100 RBIs a season. Pokemon black & white is tollay crap because it says in ep 1 of B&W that Ash is 10y, srunk him down. Also they made it look like ash didnt travel to other regions because he forgot how to catch pokemon.
Finally the only old pokemon that are shown is ash`s pokemon. New kids will have no idea of what old pokemon look like (New r cute & not cool wile old r cool).

The thing is the show is less comic and more serious. Ash is growing up and moving on and it's time you did the same.
