I finally got the chance to play this at Sunnyvale Golfland (also got to play IIDX: DJT also which was grand) and I have to say the EXT chart of this is really fun, even though I bullshitted some of the difficult parts of the chart.
most arcades in US don't even have this machine, and if they do, they don't even have V2 yet(1 in San Jose, all i know), and most of the DM machines in US are half broken, SHAME ON THEM
That's true, here in San Francisco we have a DMV machine, but it takes to much effort for it to register the hit and sometimes when you hit the snare too hard, it hits the hi-hat, which can fuck up almost anyone playing in the middle of a long stream. Also, we have one GFV machine with 1 guitar, LOL.
pier 39 i know that. i used to go there once every....year -__- (you know, SF + traffic = pwned), but seriously like 1~2 years ago the machine was in semi-perfect condition, it's like the best you can ever find in America. Golfland machines suck, all are half broken, those machines can only feed your addictions, while the machine in pier 39 was able to let you have a good time. now even that is fucked up, i don't really know what to do(US machines can't get online to start with)
play die zauberflot on ext with hazard turned on. get 100 perfects and fail. welcome to over there on extreme. (if you get a couple goods you can get model dd7.) it only works with one player, sorry no luck for drums/session unless you actually have the skill :P
what do you mean no luck for dm/gf session, you do know that when a person reaches 1200 skill point he can play this song whenever he wants however many times, right? i assume that you're from a western country such as US/CA, so thats ok. too bad you can't try the card system though, its hella fun.(i live in US, but go to Hong Kong every summer)

Is it really necessary to sign your comments with your username when uh... it SHOWS YOUR USERNAME RIGHT ABOVE your comment?

You know, i've been thinking of going there for quite some time now, but taking a 2 hour+ drive just for some arcade games has me a bit hesitant...

This not a Hirofumi Sasaki creation I guess, vox is Mutsuhiko Izumi, correct me if I'm wrong.
satriageta 2 years ago
I believe vox is Hideyuki Ono.
B4ULoveShine 2 years ago
oh yeah, Hideyuki Ono
satriageta 2 years ago
@satriageta Actually, you're close to right. Mutsuhiko Izumi performed the guitar. Yoshihiko Koezuka performed bass & Jimmy Weckl on saxophone.
