People have analyzed the hell out of this film to say the least. And the conclusion is that it can't be proven a hoax- no panty lines, no carkeys, no sneakers. They can't find anything to prove it a hoax. Think about that. The "he said, she said" stories have gotten so out of control, inconsistent, and downright inaccurate that I wouldn't even get involved in the chatter.I see many things on the enhanced versions that are unexplainable as a hoax especially from unsophistocated people & times
@jeffreywstevens So you're saying that a bigfoot has the same anatomy as a human? maybe they cant turn their heads all the way considering that the creature started turning its head first and then its body. Or maybe they cant move their eyes at all(owls for example). You cant just assume things on something that hasnt been proven to exist yet.
True, yes. They've known about the existence of the Sasquatch for as long as they've been here, all the rest of us city dwellers can muster is to ridicule it... That's both embarrassing and disrespectful. No wonder they often won't speak about it, it's very possibly the last secret or frontier left in Native hands not tainted by outsiders... Except in bad movies, and such. So as long as 'we' think it's either not real or an ape/animal, then 'we' haven't taken everything yet.
the native americans know more about things like this than most people do.,unlike others the native people care of the land and the earth and are stereotyped from some.,money is nothing but the reality of nature and the beings and life that it provides.
Sorry to say it antwan, the fooled one is you. They didn't make suits looking like this in the past, the technique just didn't exist yet, skeptics are being fooled because these beings are so humanlike. That's actually an advantage in the Bigfoots' safety.
@jeffreywstevens See bigfoot gait analysis video at 2:56 and 2:57 for the apelike facial expressions showing the so called "mask" and the beginning of bigfoot sasquatch evidence video which also shows the herniated muscle in the leg and dynamics of a heavy individual- nonlocking knees and flexible dynamics of feet yielding the midtarsal flexion of the foot.Back muscles are also seen at the beginning of Dr. Bindernagels appearance.Dermal ridges have been found and size distribution of footprints
@jeffreywstevens Actually that is one of the selling pionts for its authenticity. The gorilla ape family have very short necks which restrict their ability to turn their head the same way we do. That was one of the big arguments Dr. Grover Krantz used trying to validate this film. If you dont believe me go to the zoo and watch the gorillas. You will see them tip their head back or turn their entire body.
SeeYTvid:Thedocumentary "Sasquatch: the Quest" is part ofthe Erickson Project and will unveil, for the first time, a host of never before seen sasquatch footage and other evidence chronicling the journey of the Erickson Project. The release of thedocumentarywillcoincidewiththereleaseof theDNAfindingscollaboratively withDr.Melba KetchumThey are very close to completion, but there is no exact time on when it will be done.Author is confident it will be worth the wait as the data is very complete
bigfoot and dragons are both shared by a lot of ancient cultures around the globe.... but europeans and now modern man dont claim to see dragons deep in the woods or in caves. they do how ever see bigfoot or something like a bigfoot.
@winterstellar Actually science that it wasn't a hoax also theres been sightings for 400 years. The Indians didn't know about apes so they arnt crazy.
this shows severe signs of a form of claymation. Not clay of course, but the concept applies. I understand it was an old camera but you can notice the jittering of the movements, it was done framebyframe on possibly a small replica of fake land.
longtall63's funny... I believe the fabric he's referring to as flapping by Patty's leg is only there depending on which film print you're watching, didn't Munns find that out and therefore concluded it's probably film dirt? I used to think it's probably just a piece of wood caught in her hair. Anyway, it's insane how the Bigfoot deniers go on about their two piece suit fantasy, not only were most suits then one big thing but clearly here it's her skin and hair depending on movement/light/angle.
Slayer's terribly wrong on this footage...it's the other way around actually, most every expert - be it primatologist or computer analyst - conclude it's either a real unknown bipedal being (possibly a human species) or their results are inconclusive.
ya well what exactly is so fake about it fuckin moron brian buck 70
and last i checked this is one of the oldest and most known footage of i guess of the paranormal even though we dont know what it is. this video is one of the only in the paranormal world that after being analyzed a billion times every which way no one can fully write it off as a hoax and it is still being analyzed by new people today
@pbfpound4pound actually every legitimate expert that has analyzed it has concluded it was a hoax, I will say this again I am a back country born and raised montan and spent all my years until my early 20s mostly on horseback in the back country, no horse would be in the same zipcode of a yeti, nor would you ever get clos as it would have spooked from the smell long before you got there. For me, that is all I need, but I do know it does exist, I just hate fakes.
@stephenyeary wow...Thank YOU Inspector Holmes!! ...a feature missed by every researcher that has ever scrutinized the footage...the ole 'sowing line'...good for you...mystery solved...where have you been for the last 44 years??...you could have put this debate to rest decades ago...
awesome footage!! They do exist, the bible speaks of their kind, and also of giants. but we chose to interpret everything with closed minds. because the world revolves around us.
this film is blatantly real and anyone that can't see how real it is should have their head examined. It's been examined by professionals that have observed the kinetics and musculature of it, it's real, real real real real. If you want to know what a sasquatch looks like, this is it. End of story. It's real.
Yep, I think Pye's on to something with his theory but unfortunately it's too big a thing for most Westeners to come to terms with this, so denial and disbelief is the nicer decision...
@komodoman Even if bigfoot exists, surely that's not him in this movie. the body language says it all. this footage is an obvious hoax. what is unbelievable is the number of people fooled by it, many pseudo-cientists included.
@antwan37 Research the scientific evidence:flexible dynamics induced footprints found afterwards common to others showing midtarsal flexion, nonlocking knees on the creature designed for heavy creature dynamics, sagital crest (possible gigantapithecus or ape relative),facial muscles seen in gait analysis video (enhanced vid of this) at 2 apelike expressions at 2:56 and 2:57,apelike upperbody permitting a full-body turn only, nonuniform hair growth, muscle herniation(enhanced vid),back muscles, etcetc
@loopstheloop Are you retarded? Dozens of American Indian tribes had their own accounts of bigfoot/sasquatch-type creatures, and if you knew anything about their culture, you'd know they'd have no reason to lie about something like that.
Why is it so hard to consider that this is simply one of the 'lost links' between humans and apes? Just because they are very few in numbers doesn't mean they're fake. Look at how few tigers there are left in the world.
@mustbeburtreynolds No, you clearly are, though, you poof. Why assume I don't know anything about First Nations' culture? Ironically, you're the illiterate who can't tell the difference between folklore and reality. Just because Indians had hundreds of names for this creature does not suggest it's real... or that they're lying. You are clearly of very low I.Q. levels, so please, do the gene pool a favour and top yourself.
Why is it hard to believe? Soooooo many reasons. You're a plonker.
@loopstheloop I didn't say "believe" you fucking retard, I said "consider". This video has been scientifcally analyzed dozens of times and no one has been able to conclusively prove it as a fake. Therefore, it is an entirely reasonable possibility that the creature is in fact a lost link in the chain of evolution between apes and humans.
You're nothing but a faux-intellectual douche. Do YOURSELF a favor and get off your high horse you fucking faggot.
@mustbeburtreynolds No, you clearly are, though, you poof. Why assume I don't know anything about First Nations' culture? @mustbeburtreynolds Any ape standing near you would seem quite intellectual, you gullible mongoloid. You're the epitome of dim, middle-American, low-brow, ill-educated trash.
@loopstheloop As I said, this video has been analyzed many times over and NO ONE has been able to adequately prove whether it is real or fake.
Therefore, my conclusion is that this is either someone in a suit, despite the technology for making such a suit being thoroughly inadequate in that time, or a legitimate, living creature that we are unaware of.
Your conclusion is that it's fake.
I am by definition, being more logical and scientific here. You're retarded, fuck off.
@mustbeburtreynolds I'm sorry, but you are far too dim to debate any topic with (see your tragically flawed logic above). Rather than show you the error of your ways, I shall bid you good day, sir.... and recommend that you volunteer for sterilisation for the good of the gene pool. Chop chop!
To all Bigfoot believers and non believers! Check out Lloyd Pye's human origins on Youtube. For those who simply don't have enough evidence to explain the existence of Bigfoot, Lloyd Pye's theory is the best way to define Bigfoot existence. For those who don't have enough evidence to believe why Bigfoot don't exist because of some bogus debunks that the Discovery Channel claimed to prove without actually replicating a man in a suit with the use of a cheap camera should check out Lloyd Pye
Seriously, I've seen plenty of movies with effects quality ranging from abysmal to outstanding. And now that this has been stablized it is so blatantly fake I can't understand how anyone can believe it anymore.
@PostToastie on t.v. not only cant they disprove it but they often find new details in the footage that prove it may actually be real, such as muscle shown petruding out buttocks and breasts on it even the supposed unhuman like walk that they say no human can duplicate and people even athletes have tried and failed, people even say that to this day it would be nearly impossible to make such a high quality costume and were talking about the early 70s here.all i am saying is you cant say it fake.
Effects quality ranging from abysmal to outstanding? Oh, you mean modern technology(CGI)? Sorry, there was none of that in 1967. Godzilla was the best effects the Japanese pulled off in the 60's. Couldn't get better than that in the 60's. Tell you what, I know that it's hard to believe in Bigfoot for many reasons, but how about doing some research before considering him debunked. Check out why MythBusters won't try to debunk Bigfoot. Hear their bogus reasons. It's a lot more to it then you think
If Bigfoot is so debunked then let the media prove it. Bigfoot believers don't just want to see the supposedly replicated costume, they want to see the walk, the gait, and the muscle movements. If it can be done, believe me, the Bigfoot theory will definitely be considered debunked and many Bigfoot believers will be go back to their ordinary lives and forget the whole Bigfoot thing. Check out "Lloyd Pye's" theory on human origins on Youtube. You might be interested.
@brianbuck70 okay i am originally from oklahoma where there are reports of bigfoot too.but that aint mean nothing.what i am saying is i have seen a million shows on bigfoot and only biased opinion non believers say it is fake but they have no proof besides the fact that some idiot back in the day said he got in a monkey suit and was the bigfoot in the footage, but people asked him to prove it and he could'nt even take them to the area where it all went down every time i have seen this
@brianbuck70 this film has been looked at by anyone that can disprove it and yet to date no one has done so at all,,this version is not like the first tap where you can see the fac e looks like a gorilla ,,this copy makes the facee look like a mna in a mask, every time you sopy a tap you loose about 30% of the true picture so after 100's of copys you just cant see what was there that day,,just from looking at the muscle placement on the animal you can see that its 100% real,,
Not true. Leroy Blevins made a suit that looks identical to this one. You can't tell a difference. Made it right in his house. It can be done and was done.
@PostToastie Leroy Blevins used to make me roar with laughter!! His page has about 400 spelling mistakes on it...and the furry pajama footed suit he made...??? Waaaaay tooo funny for words!! He once told me "Dont you see..i tell the words...i am the only one who tells the words"...his exact quote.....were you aware that he has found Noah's Ark as well??!!
@PostToastie My only question is this: Why didn't any media pick up on his amazing story..? He apparently spent a DECADE making that suit...how funny/ pathetic/ /insane is that?? In one of his videos he has a side by side pic of his suit with the PGF subject. You can see different muscle groups on the back of the PGF subject, traps, legs, lats..and Leroy has none of that showing on his featureless mess..and side by side he writes "Match" tooooo funny!!!
@longtalltexan63 what year was is when "leroy blevins" mad the suit and the film everyone hase seen is a copy of a copy so the face looks nothing like in the first film..in the year this film was made not even the best holywood fx team could make a suit like this also if its fake why not do it in your back yard and say its elsware not miles and miles out in the middle B.F.E. ,,,this is a real place that you can go to but it take 4ever and a day to get there ,,
@longtalltexan63 So true...to see Leroys 'amazing' suit, simply watch this clip on youtube..."Blevins best proof of PG is real"...get ready to laugh at Leroy's 'exact' copy of the suit...hilarious!!!
@TheSleepermgm ....to see Leroys 'amazing' suit, simply watch this clip on youtube..."Blevins best proof of PG is real"...get ready to laugh at Leroy's 'exact' copy of the suit...hilarious!!!
If you freeze it at 14 seconds, you can actually see with your own two eyes, a large piece of loose fabric flopping around on the right foot. Plus the suit appears to have at least two pieces, a top and a bottom. You can clearly see them moving apart from one another. Bob Gimlin needs to tell what really happened.
A 2005 Discovery Channel documentary showed how easily a human can replicate the gait of the 'creature' in the Patterson film. Also, look closely at the pelvic region as the 'creature' walks. You can see the seam where the buttocks/hip section overlaps the thigh section. It's obviously a man in an ape costume.
So, a new study of this film was conducted and it was found that a human could easily replicate the gait exhibited by the creature in the footage. This lends weight to the (obvious, in my opinion) notion that the 'primate' in this film is, in fact, a man in an ape costume.
There's s good lengthy MQ clip with Bill Munns demonstration and conclusion on PGF here somewhere, called 'Is this proof that Bigfoot is real ?' posted by starmediacritic.
Problem: Chillicutt's determination that dermal ridges are seen in plaster casts. Finding dermal ridges in bigfoot casts is fine, but ONLY as long as dermal ridges can be found in casts made of human and ape prints cast in a similar fashion. If humans, or apes do not leave dermal ridges in soil, then it would be doubtful that bigfoot would either. Being barefoot wears down dermal ridges. Getting a print from a wild ape's foot would be hard; getting them from a soil imprint might be impossible.
Bigfoot is obviously, or it's pretty obivous to me anyway by now, not some big dumb ape but will probably eventually fall into the human category when really discovered. Just because it's huge and hairy doesn't mean it'a an ape like the other great apes we know and have classified as animals, it's worth remembering all their 'human' traits after all; feet, bipedal, humanlike facial features, possible language chatter heard/recorded (the Sierra Sounds), etc.
Comparing how recent gorillas were discovered to the likelihood even larger primates live in the north American woods is not reasonable. Gorilla remains were discovered in 1847, first live sighting in 1856, and first dead specimen in 1861. This was before the bicycle was invented. before cars, gas engines, tungsten steel, film, flight. It was hard traveling in those days, yet explorers found gorillas. There are very few forests in NA that have not been hunted, forested or traveled by quads.
The more I see of this film, and the more analysis is done, the more clear it becomes to me that this is nothing more than a man in a well crafted ape/gorilla suit.
@brianbuck70 Peter Burke, the head fx tech at Jim Henson's Creature Shop said 'I have no idea how they would have made a suit like this in 1967." His credentials speak for themselves...what are yours??
@joeyvader My credentials, or lack thereof, aren't the issue. I'm not an effects technician. But if Peter Burke thinks that this couldn't be done in 1967, then I find his credentials questionable. The fact that no other footage has been taken since that shows a similar creature, and no remains, droppings or other undeniable evidence has been found, points strongly to the Patterson film as a hoax. With enough trial and error, I could probably make a similar suit myself.
@brianbuck70 You find his credentials 'questionable'? You can search for, and find every film he has worked on...Janos Prohaska, who made his living in various primate suits said, "If this is a suit, it's the best suit I've ever seen."...You believe that you could make a similar suit...? do it...
@joeyvader I tell you what...you capture a live sasquatch specimen and I'll make a bigfoot suit, OK? Here's the problem I have with this footage: If you look closely, you can see the seam where the buttock piece overlaps the right thigh piece of the suit. We now live in an era where everyone carries cell phones and digital cameras. More people than ever can record video footage and no new footage of any creature similar to the one in the Patterson film has been taken. Why?
@brianbuck70 I never mentioned anything about my ability to capture a Sasquatch,..you, however said that you thought you could make a comparable suit...I said do so..Peter Burke watched the best footage you can watch...it's from a first gen copy, and not the blurry 5th gen images you see here on yt...Burke found achilles tendons flexing, among many other features not seen her...have you listened to what he has to say??
your mind is like a parachute. it is no good unless it is opened. to you assholes who never think outside the box just keep this in mind....you live on a planet suspended in infinite blackness sourrounded by the mysterious and wonders of god only knows what..yet an apelike humanlike creature that may lurk in a forest is too hard to wrap your brain around?
lol Yeah. All the great apes, apart from us, have feet that more resemble hands/fingers really - only the Bigfoot has that huge mostly flat humanlike foot...
Also I think you should watch planet of the apes, I woulder if someone could get there hands of one of those suits, and make alot of money off idiots?
You may want to watch POTA yourself, if you do, you will probably notice that the costumes in that prophetic film were head, hands and feet. head, hands and feet. head, hands and feet. Duh?????
@PostToastie It is a pathetic sceam dude, you should stop funding them with these shenanigans, and do something worthwhile that helps poeple, instead of chasing your fury friend made by hollywwod film maker roger patterson, If you LOOK at his foot when its in the air you can clearly see the over size white foot bottom, same used in Planet of the Apes, and if it was a bigfoot why does the foot size not fall between a human foot, and ape foot, it is neither, so stop wasting your time please.
@steve5123456789 Oh!! Can I play?? " you can clearly see the over size white foot bottom, same used in Planet of the Apes"...I would LOVE to see where I can see this feature in Planet of the Apes...please enlighten me as to WHERE we can see the same foot from Planet of the Apes!!
@tontar By all means throw some fuel!! Nice to talk to someone who isn't an insulting moron for a change.. Yes...it's James Gregory and Maurice Evans in the scene from "Beneath the Palnet of the Apes"...(Urko and Zauis, respectively).and they are wearing exactly what we would expect...baggy ill-fitting gorilla suits...and this from a MAJOR Hollywood productiion....
Yep, the distance's been measured from her and the down tree in the front, it looks big and closer to her than it really is... Chris Murphy in his Meet The Sasquatch book made some calculations if the scene coould be seen from above, the distance between the two objects then is much clearer giving another good idea of her hugeness...
Rick Baker and Carlo Rambaldi made a gorilla suit for King Kong in 1976, 9 years after the Patterson subject was filmed....they were, at the time, two of the best sfx techs on planet Earth..they had major studio funding, plenty of time for r @ d, and a crew of dozens of artists and sculptors on the project...and there are NO leg muscles seen flexing on Baker in his Kong suit...the legs are not well defined, and the arms and shoulders are not as broad and long as the subject seen here..why?
Right, and it's also interesting how her limb proportions are all exactly as people report most often, placing head or arms like that on a suit has a good reason they don't; it's impossible. Impossible for an actor to reach and operate due to torso length, which is why all Bigfoot movie costumes don't look like Patty but like Harry...
@komodoman Actually, check out the bigfoot encounters site. There is an article there which debunks the proportion idea. Patty's proportions are exactly the same as a normal human. The arms only look long because of their swing, but the legs are even longer as seen when analyzing all the film frames, not just the ones where she "appears" to have short legs.
@jgum86 That's poor logic. The suit may no longer exist, so finding it would be impossible. Or, it may be stashed away in Patterson's house, which is not public domain. That a suit does not surface does not mean it never existed. Apply that reason to anything and it falls apart as a bad argument. Heck, where's your grandma's wedding dress? If you can't find it, did it ever exist? That nobody has produced a duplicate is only proof that nobody has tried hard enough. No incentive is the reason.
@peak199 The late head of the Anthropology Dept. at Washington U. thought this was a real animal..as does a Prof. of human anatomy at Idaho U...there are TWO adults right there, who believe it to be a real animal...and they aren't illiterate halfwits like yourself...
I was born a year before PGF and have more or less always thought it could be real, now more than ever I feel certain in saying that it definitely is. Skeptics only see an upright walking 'ape' so logically it must be a suit...they don't pay attention to much else, it's bipedal and that's it. Sealed, signed & delivered. Fake. Not so fast though, they just haven't shown much of anything to sway me with their paperwork, and that of course is because there's little use protesting Patty's physique.
@komodoman The real problem is that believers typically refuse to discuss or debate with an open mind. Regardless of what anyone says, whether there is data, or evidence, or what, believers typically have a firm "belief" that they vehemently refuse to be questioned. They get all emotional and call names, and refuse to consider most things rationally. Much like religious zealots. That's the biggest problem right there, refusing to consider things reasonably, and lashing out at people who do.
@tontar That's incredible... I think you need to read some of the garbage from the denying trolls around here, hell, you could be one in disguise with that usual twisting of views 180 degrees... If anyone isn't looking at this with an open mind, it's the skeptics not the so-called believers. Skeptics simply refuse to look at this logically, they like to tell themselves that they do but it's anything but when they deliberately choose to refuse possibilities of a being intelligent enough to hide.
@komodoman I read it all, and try to filter out all the junk. Frankly, there are denying trolls on both sides of the fence. In both cases they do nobody any service. But even using the word "skeptic" as it is used is an insult, it's intended as an insult. Look up skepticism on wikipedia, it is not an insulting position to take, nor a disbelieving or stubborn place to be. It simply means questioning beliefs generally taken for granted. We cannot learn if we do not question things openly.
nasty, their feet obviously aren't like any of the great apes that are curved and whatnot so don't forget their feet are like this - exactly like this - big and flat. These guys look a bit like us and no doubt have more in common with us anyway than beasts, think more of a huge hairy human instead and with a superb body for the terrain they stomp around in...
@nastymonster Fisrt of all, we are talking about an unknown animals foot..it has long been observed that they have no arch, and toes almost level with the great toe...this is exactly what you'd expect in an animal of this weight..You are expecting to see scratches..the subject itself is a few mm in size on the film strip..and you are surprised that you can't make out scratches..really??
@nastymonster It's interesting to note how you refer to the feet as 'slippers'...I see broad flat feet...what are you expecting to see? What would the feet of a habitually bipedal ape look like, in your expert opinion??
@joeyvader Something to consider; humans have evolved their feet for millions of years for the most efficient bipedal locomotion. These feet were designed and evolved by nature. They are the best suited for the job. Similar bipedal primates should have feet much like ours. The arch is there because it works. WE are a habitually bipedal ape. Look to our feet as archetypes of success. Look to our indigenous brothers to see that a shoeless foot still has an arch. Because it works best.
Read up on Meldrum's analysis of foot morphology...an enlarged human foot would not suffice for an animal of this size...and simply enlarged human footprints are not what are found...if our indegenous brothers were in excess of 4oo lbs., they probably wouldn't have an arch at all...witness the obese folks and their myriad problems...the fact that the toes are almost the same length, and the foot is wider and has an almost non-existant arch makes it more suitable for bipedal locomotion..
@joeyvader Mmmm, I have. That's part of my problem. Theory to fit a conclusion. I don't like science that is created to substantiate a belief, especially if that belief contradicts a greater amount of existing evidence or data. First of all, there is no standardized format for bigfoot footprints.
@tontar Obviously there will be variation within a species, but even so, there are very few human feet that do not resemble one another within a reasonably narrow type set. Bigfoot prints vary widely, far more widely than most any other animal. That's a problem. Additionally, the footprint library has evolved right along with these new theories. Come up with a mid tarsal hinge, and amazingly newer footprints fit that format. As the "science" evolves, bigfoot traits follow. That's suspicious.
@joeyvader There is nothing within the greater bulk of scientific knowledge of the human foot, the only bipedal primate foot known to science, that would indicate that a lack of arch would be more suitable for bipedal locomotion. Nature has shown otherwise. Creating an alternative theory which conflicts with natural selection, with nothing to substantiate it other than plaster castings from a being that has yet to be affirmed is really, really bad science. Meldrum is not supported by his field.
@nastymonster You know something, Nastymonster, I didn't want to admit this. I wanted to believe it was real. A lot of it does look real, but the anaylists, never mention the stationary butt. Since I noticed, strange as it may be, I have watched people walk past me to see if anybody's butt doesn't move. Sorry, leg muscles pull on butt muscles. That alone says fake-o. Thanks for agreeing. Also, out of proportion . A butt that ends at the waist? No definiation. No slope of the back.
@lisaleelee10 That is using reason! The two muscle groups most necessary for bipedal gait are the quads and the glutes. BOTH will flex while walking. The butt should move a lot, shifting in the middle as the legs pump fore and aft. There is no logical reason for the butt not to shift. Clothing will dampen or hide that movement, but any naked butt, fat or skinny, will flex and shift while walking. That Patty's doesn't means something significant.
@PostToastie His feet are white, this is so fake someone fucking nail this as fake already this has gone on for long enough, I wish I had a time machine.
@steve4123456789 You might want to check out the recent sighting reports at the Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization's website. The one for this month from Lake County Colorado might make you rethink that whole hypothesis, and, of course there are thousands of others there for you to read if you are interested in the subject. And if you are not interested in the subject, then I guess you can go watch something you are interested in, like girls shaking their butts or something.
@PostToastie Do you prefer men shaking there butts, did you ever think for 2 minutes that this is fake, and you wasting your life, and time chasing shadows? Look at 0.02 a flat foot with no lines, or foot arch, apes feet do not look like that; I also suggest you look at the report your self bigfootmustdie COM
@lisaleelee10 This animal has very little fat. The only fat I see jiggling are the breast! Makes sense to me. Even wrestlers, track stars, and football players with well define butt muscles don't jiggle! Watch a game, and you will see I am right! This is a female at 7'3" . 900 LBS PLUS ! If you were to ask me from a distance, I couldn't tell if it was a male or female, because of all the muscle mass! The breast were a dead give away!
The bottoms of his/her feet have castings on them.Looks like to mw anyway. That was so when they told their story they could say ''come look at the footprints it left. What a joke!
@peak199 A tracker went to the site several days later and picked up her trail, following them to a ridge up and behind the scene...Patterson and Gimlin, never at any point mentioned "Hey, did you follow those tracks...?" The feet have been found to have a lift in the toes before the heel strike...just what you would expect in a living foot...every team that has looked closely at the footage comes away unconvinced either way..not bad for a costume made in 1967.
Yes, I'd like to see how religious leaders/people will deal with this news which is probably the real reason why no effort's ever been made from any place of authority to find & prove them real, other than reserve the space and habitat they already have. It'll happen but only when 'one of us' finds them, until then it'll be ridiculed and ignored. Even if they're mere apes, that would probably embarrass many folks even more that we couldn't find them sooner... Indians laugh at the ape idea, btw.
@komodoman Agreed, and IMO, the very fact that the animal has remained so well hidden indicates an intelligence that in unsupportive of the "simple ape" theory.
The PGF is, in itself, a "legendary moment in time" that by all indications and scruntinization says that these animals were around in '67, I just hope they still are. This doesn't even begin to address all the sightings, footprints, sounds, etc.. that have occurred over 200 years.
When and if one is found, alive or dead, the world will be a changed place forever and our belief systems seriously challenged... Most can't handle the implications that would come with such a discovery.
seymour's a myth supporter of flat featureless tree boards, leather feet...white(!) leather apparently... Funny how these guys are the only persons interested in myths and legends...and keeping things that way.
seymour's being silly again, how does he know it's leather. lol Patty's feet look exactly like all Bigfoot feet do, same shape/toes. -Not apelike feet but very humanlike feet, food for thought there... It's clear to me these deniers are set in system, first we had eminbozo's Long reign of troll terror & pretty much all the other silly nics used hail from the same source, seymour's our latest friend here. None of it worked. Best bet, bored f/x guys or some more sinister service, systematic it is.
In closeups the feet give this thing away as fake. They are the common white leather flat featureless feet of cheapo ape suits we've all seen in dozens of bad B movies.
@seymourbbest Really? Ape suits have flat feet with the toes straight acrooss the front? Do they? Do ape suits not have the hand like feet that all ape suits came with...and continue to have today... can give me any link or picture whatsoever of any gorilla suit, past or present, that has feet like the Patterson subject? If you can't, then shut your pie-hole.
@seymourbbest I watched a documentary last week with Jeff Meldrum in the Idaho wilderness with a research team.. one can assume that a teacher at Idaho U. is one of your 'unwashed red-necks"..why DO you keep posting on a topic that your ignorance knows no bounds??

You cant just assume things on something that hasnt been proven to exist yet.
nrdsgtbck101 6 months ago
So as long as 'we' think it's either not real or an ape/animal, then 'we' haven't taken everything yet.
komodoman 6 months ago
the native americans know more about things like this than most people do.,unlike others the native people care of the land and the earth and are stereotyped from some.,money is nothing but the reality of nature and the beings and life that it provides.

Bindernagels appearance.Dermal ridges have been found and size distribution of footprints
rockstarzep 7 months ago
@jeffreywstevens Actually that is one of the selling pionts for its authenticity. The gorilla ape family have very short necks which restrict their ability to turn their head the same way we do. That was one of the big arguments Dr. Grover Krantz used trying to validate this film. If you dont believe me go to the zoo and watch the gorillas. You will see them tip their head back or turn their entire body.

longtall63's funny...

@loopstheloop I didn't say "believe" you fucking retard, I said "consider". This video has been scientifcally analyzed dozens of times and no one has been able to conclusively prove it as a fake.

@PostToastie on t.v. not only cant they disprove it but they often find new details in the footage that prove it may actually be real, such as muscle shown petruding out buttocks and breasts on it even the supposed unhuman like walk that they say no human can duplicate and people even athletes have tried and failed, people even say that to this day it would be nearly impossible to make such a high quality costume and were talking about the early 70s here.all i am saying is you cant say it fake.
pbfpound4pound 11 months ago
Effects quality ranging from abysmal to outstanding? Oh, you mean modern technology(CGI)? Sorry, there was none of that in 1967. Godzilla was the best effects the Japanese pulled off in the 60's. Couldn't get better than that in the 60's. Tell you what, I know that it's hard to believe in Bigfoot for many reasons, but how about doing some research before considering him debunked. Check out why MythBusters won't try to debunk Bigfoot. Hear their bogus reasons. It's a lot more to it then you think
jav414 1 year ago 2
If Bigfoot is so debunked then let the media prove it. Bigfoot believers don't just want to see the supposedly replicated costume, they want to see the walk, the gait, and the muscle movements. If it can be done, believe me, the Bigfoot theory will definitely be considered debunked and many Bigfoot believers will be go back to their ordinary lives and forget the whole Bigfoot thing. Check out "Lloyd Pye's" theory on human origins on Youtube. You might be interested.

It's obviously a man in an ape costume.
brianbuck70 1 year ago
What new study? There is no such 'new study', it's been concluded real by experts from all fields.
komodoman 1 year ago 4
So, a new study of this film was conducted and it was found that a human could easily replicate the gait exhibited by the creature in the footage. This lends weight to the (obvious, in my opinion) notion that the 'primate' in this film is, in fact, a man in an ape costume.

Getting a print from a wild ape's foot would be hard; getting them from a soil imprint might be impossible.
tontar 1 year ago
Bigfoot is obviously, or it's pretty obivous to me anyway by now, not some big dumb ape but will probably eventually fall into the human category when really discovered. Just because it's huge and hairy doesn't mean it'a an ape like the other great apes we know and have classified as animals, it's worth remembering all their 'human' traits after all; feet, bipedal, humanlike facial features, possible language chatter heard/recorded (the Sierra Sounds), etc.
komodoman 1 year ago
Comparing how recent gorillas were discovered to the likelihood even larger primates live in the north American woods is not reasonable. Gorilla remains were discovered in 1847, first live sighting in 1856, and first dead specimen in 1861. This was before the bicycle was invented. before cars, gas engines, tungsten steel, film, flight. It was hard traveling in those days, yet explorers found gorillas. There are very few forests in NA that have not been hunted, forested or traveled by quads.

brianbuck70 1 year ago
@brianbuck70 Peter Burke, the head fx tech at Jim Henson's Creature Shop said 'I have no idea how they would have made a suit like this in 1967." His credentials speak for themselves...what are yours??
joeyvader 1 year ago
@joeyvader My credentials, or lack thereof, aren't the issue. I'm not an effects technician. But if Peter Burke thinks that this couldn't be done in 1967, then I find his credentials questionable. The fact that no other footage has been taken since that shows a similar creature, and no remains, droppings or other undeniable evidence has been found, points strongly to the Patterson film as a hoax. With enough trial and error, I could probably make a similar suit myself.
brianbuck70 1 year ago 2
@brianbuck70 You find his credentials 'questionable'? You can search for, and find every film he has worked on...Janos Prohaska, who made his living in various primate suits said, "If this is a suit, it's the best suit I've ever seen."...You believe that you could make a similar suit...? do it...
joeyvader 1 year ago
@joeyvader I tell you what...you capture a live sasquatch specimen and I'll make a bigfoot suit, OK? Here's the problem I have with this footage: If you look closely, you can see the seam where the buttock piece overlaps the right thigh piece of the suit. We now live in an era where everyone carries cell phones and digital cameras. More people than ever can record video footage and no new footage of any creature similar to the one in the Patterson film has been taken. Why?
brianbuck70 1 year ago
@brianbuck70 I never mentioned anything about my ability to capture a Sasquatch,..you, however said that you thought you could make a comparable suit...I said do so..Peter Burke watched the best footage you can watch...it's from a first gen copy, and not the blurry 5th gen images you see here on yt...Burke found achilles tendons flexing, among many other features not seen her...have you listened to what he has to say??

Idiots?? Really?? I HAVE seen the film...where are the full body suits in it?? I think it's YOU who has never seen the film...idiot...

@joeyvader Don't mean to throw fuel on a fire, but there is a scene where the orangutan officials are sitting ina sauna with nothing but towels on...
tontar 1 year ago

I love the way you have displayed the Patterson film.
Excellent job!

Rick Baker and Carlo Rambaldi made a gorilla suit for King Kong in 1976, 9 years after the Patterson subject was filmed....they were, at the time, two of the best sfx techs on planet Earth..they had major studio funding, plenty of time for r @ d, and a crew of dozens of artists and sculptors on the project...and there are NO leg muscles seen flexing on Baker in his Kong suit...the legs are not well defined, and the arms and shoulders are not as broad and long as the subject seen here..why?
joeyvader 1 year ago
Right, and it's also interesting how her limb proportions are all exactly as people report most often, placing head or arms like that on a suit has a good reason they don't; it's impossible. Impossible for an actor to reach and operate due to torso length, which is why all Bigfoot movie costumes don't look like Patty but like Harry...
komodoman 1 year ago
@komodoman Actually, check out the bigfoot encounters site. There is an article there which debunks the proportion idea. Patty's proportions are exactly the same as a normal human. The arms only look long because of their swing, but the legs are even longer as seen when analyzing all the film frames, not just the ones where she "appears" to have short legs.
tontar 1 year ago
@peak199 Read up on it. Where's the costume? Why can't anyone in the entire world make a similar costume?
jgum86 1 year ago
@jgum86 That's poor logic. The suit may no longer exist, so finding it would be impossible. Or, it may be stashed away in Patterson's house, which is not public domain. That a suit does not surface does not mean it never existed. Apply that reason to anything and it falls apart as a bad argument. Heck, where's your grandma's wedding dress? If you can't find it, did it ever exist? That nobody has produced a duplicate is only proof that nobody has tried hard enough. No incentive is the reason.
tontar 1 year ago
@peak199 The late head of the Anthropology Dept. at Washington U. thought this was a real animal..as does a Prof. of human anatomy at Idaho U...there are TWO adults right there, who believe it to be a real animal...and they aren't illiterate halfwits like yourself...
joeyvader 1 year ago
I was born a year before PGF and have more or less always thought it could be real, now more than ever I feel certain in saying that it definitely is. Skeptics only see an upright walking 'ape' so logically it must be a suit...they don't pay attention to much else, it's bipedal and that's it. Sealed, signed & delivered. Fake. Not so fast though, they just haven't shown much of anything to sway me with their paperwork, and that of course is because there's little use protesting Patty's physique.
komodoman 1 year ago
@komodoman The real problem is that believers typically refuse to discuss or debate with an open mind. Regardless of what anyone says, whether there is data, or evidence, or what, believers typically have a firm "belief" that they vehemently refuse to be questioned. They get all emotional and call names, and refuse to consider most things rationally. Much like religious zealots. That's the biggest problem right there, refusing to consider things reasonably, and lashing out at people who do.
tontar 1 year ago
@tontar That's incredible... I think you need to read some of the garbage from the denying trolls around here, hell, you could be one in disguise with that usual twisting of views 180 degrees... If anyone isn't looking at this with an open mind, it's the skeptics not the so-called believers. Skeptics simply refuse to look at this logically, they like to tell themselves that they do but it's anything but when they deliberately choose to refuse possibilities of a being intelligent enough to hide.
komodoman 1 year ago
@komodoman I read it all, and try to filter out all the junk. Frankly, there are denying trolls on both sides of the fence. In both cases they do nobody any service. But even using the word "skeptic" as it is used is an insult, it's intended as an insult. Look up skepticism on wikipedia, it is not an insulting position to take, nor a disbelieving or stubborn place to be. It simply means questioning beliefs generally taken for granted. We cannot learn if we do not question things openly.

@nastymonster ok..
joeyvader 1 year ago
nasty, their feet obviously aren't like any of the great apes that are curved and whatnot so don't forget their feet are like this - exactly like this - big and flat. These guys look a bit like us and no doubt have more in common with us anyway than beasts, think more of a huge hairy human instead and with a superb body for the terrain they stomp around in...
komodoman 1 year ago
@nastymonster Fisrt of all, we are talking about an unknown animals foot..it has long been observed that they have no arch, and toes almost level with the great toe...this is exactly what you'd expect in an animal of this weight..You are expecting to see scratches..the subject itself is a few mm in size on the film strip..and you are surprised that you can't make out scratches..really??
joeyvader 1 year ago
@nastymonster Nastymonster, what an un-educated fool.
loveunderlaw 1 year ago
@nastymonster It's interesting to note how you refer to the feet as 'slippers'...I see broad flat feet...what are you expecting to see? What would the feet of a habitually bipedal ape look like, in your expert opinion??
joeyvader 1 year ago
@joeyvader Something to consider; humans have evolved their feet for millions of years for the most efficient bipedal locomotion. These feet were designed and evolved by nature. They are the best suited for the job. Similar bipedal primates should have feet much like ours. The arch is there because it works. WE are a habitually bipedal ape. Look to our feet as archetypes of success. Look to our indigenous brothers to see that a shoeless foot still has an arch. Because it works best.
tontar 1 year ago
Read up on Meldrum's analysis of foot morphology...an enlarged human foot would not suffice for an animal of this size...and simply enlarged human footprints are not what are found...if our indegenous brothers were in excess of 4oo lbs., they probably wouldn't have an arch at all...witness the obese folks and their myriad problems...the fact that the toes are almost the same length, and the foot is wider and has an almost non-existant arch makes it more suitable for bipedal locomotion..
joeyvader 1 year ago
@joeyvader Mmmm, I have. That's part of my problem. Theory to fit a conclusion. I don't like science that is created to substantiate a belief, especially if that belief contradicts a greater amount of existing evidence or data. First of all, there is no standardized format for bigfoot footprints.
tontar 1 year ago
@tontar Obviously there will be variation within a species, but even so, there are very few human feet that do not resemble one another within a reasonably narrow type set. Bigfoot prints vary widely, far more widely than most any other animal. That's a problem. Additionally, the footprint library has evolved right along with these new theories. Come up with a mid tarsal hinge, and amazingly newer footprints fit that format. As the "science" evolves, bigfoot traits follow. That's suspicious.
tontar 1 year ago
@joeyvader There is nothing within the greater bulk of scientific knowledge of the human foot, the only bipedal primate foot known to science, that would indicate that a lack of arch would be more suitable for bipedal locomotion. Nature has shown otherwise. Creating an alternative theory which conflicts with natural selection, with nothing to substantiate it other than plaster castings from a being that has yet to be affirmed is really, really bad science. Meldrum is not supported by his field.
tontar 1 year ago
@nastymonster You know something, Nastymonster, I didn't want to admit this. I wanted to believe it was real. A lot of it does look real, but the anaylists, never mention the stationary butt. Since I noticed, strange as it may be, I have watched people walk past me to see if anybody's butt doesn't move. Sorry, leg muscles pull on butt muscles. That alone says fake-o. Thanks for agreeing. Also, out of proportion . A butt that ends at the waist? No definiation. No slope of the back.
lisaleelee10 1 year ago
@lisaleelee10 That is using reason! The two muscle groups most necessary for bipedal gait are the quads and the glutes. BOTH will flex while walking. The butt should move a lot, shifting in the middle as the legs pump fore and aft. There is no logical reason for the butt not to shift. Clothing will dampen or hide that movement, but any naked butt, fat or skinny, will flex and shift while walking. That Patty's doesn't means something significant.
tontar 1 year ago
The only thing that bothers me, is that there is no movement at all in the butt.
lisaleelee10 1 year ago
@lisaleelee10
I have a problem with that, too. I like a little more of a phat ass that jiggles with the schizzles.

@lisaleelee10 This animal has very little fat. The only fat I see jiggling are the breast! Makes sense to me. Even wrestlers, track stars, and football players with well define butt muscles don't jiggle! Watch a game, and you will see I am right! This is a female at 7'3" . 900 LBS PLUS ! If you were to ask me from a distance, I couldn't tell if it was a male or female, because of all the muscle mass! The breast were a dead give away!

Indians laugh at the ape idea, btw.
komodoman 1 year ago
@komodoman Agreed, and IMO, the very fact that the animal has remained so well hidden indicates an intelligence that in unsupportive of the "simple ape" theory.
The PGF is, in itself, a "legendary moment in time" that by all indications and scruntinization says that these animals were around in '67, I just hope they still are. This doesn't even begin to address all the sightings, footprints, sounds, etc.. that have occurred over 200 years.

@komodoman, why are you bringing religion into this?

When and if one is found, alive or dead, the world will be a changed place forever and our belief systems seriously challenged... Most can't handle the implications that would come with such a discovery.

seymour's being silly again, how does he know it's leather. lol Patty's feet look exactly like all Bigfoot feet do, same shape/toes.
