  • Anyone could be that accurate in the WAC. When you have all the time in the world to pass the ball. nothing impressive. He sure was accurate in the Sugar Bowl.

  • @isaywhatisayhateme Oh yeah cause all QBs that play against WAC teams throw for a billion touchdowns and complete 100% of their passes...................PLEASE just shut up. You have no idea how to evaluate QBs, so don't make like you know what you're talking about.

  • Talent comes from all different places. It is more common for great players to come from the SEC, PAC 10, etc, but a lot of successful NFL players come from smaller conferences. I watch a lot of college football, and Colt is the best I've ever seen. As far as the Redskins situation, Colt is currently 3rd string. If he can beat out Rex Grossman for the backup job (which should be possible) then he'll be set up to possibly start some games this year or whenever McNabb leaves.

  • @joltinjoe90 the only talent colt has is warming the bench

  • Not to mention they went out and got another QB in the draft.

No they didn't. Colt has talent, and talent has a way of winning out eventually. I'm not sure when he'll get his chance, but when he does, he'll be awesome. Who knows, maybe McNabb will get injured and Colt will come in and light up the league like Kurt Warner did back in '98. Maybe he won't get a chance until late in his career like Rich Gannon. Hell, Steve Young didn't become a full time starter until he was 31.

  • And he played alot of half games in collage. This guy is going to be a Super Star in the NFL if they give him a chance.

  • @cherylz1 chances are earned, if the kid is still on the bench, he hasn't shown them squat. Not to mention they went out and got another QB in the draft. Everyone wants to talk about a weak O-line against Ga for all his struggles. Thats part of the problem, the other part is playing high school teams week in and week out don't help you get ready to play real D's, like Ga. He didn't do squat in the senior bowl either. He wont make it as a pro.

  • @cherylz1 He'll end up back in hawaii with chang fightin and gettin arrested.

  • @andrew7603

The point is, sometimes you have to have patience. A lot of great QBs got drafted in the late rounds and had to wait for that one opportunity. I'm not a Hawaii fan, but I've never seen a more accurate QB than Colt. Plus he has that lightning quick release and the intangible instincts. His arm isn't too bad either. At 1:27 he throws a 55 yard dime. You can hate all you want, but I wouldn't bet against him.

  • @joltinjoe90 Like I said, he doesn't play well against real comp. Everyone wants to use his O-line as a problem when he played Georgia say they weren't good and they are the reason he threw so bad in that game. Yet when he plays nobody teams nothing is said about the O-line. People need to realize while he's a good QB, he's not as good as all the records indicate. HE PLAYED IN THE WAC FOR GOD's SAKE. It's not hatin it's looking at his career with both eyes open.

  • @joltinjoe90 The other thing I don't get is if he's got such a great release, great accuracy blah blah, how do the redskins aquire two more QB's and he goes to fourth string on the bench. That doesn't sound like a guy that's done anything in the off or pre season to show he is the "hero" QB he was in hawaii. THat looks like a guy who got exposed for what he is, good against bad teams.

  • @andrew7603

You know what your problem is, you're judging the conference instead of the player. First off, Colt was playing against the WAC with WAC talent. Davone Bess was the only other player on his team with NFL talent, and he went undrafted. Colt's 2006 season wasn't just good, it was the most dominating passing season in the history of college football. TONY ROMO AND KURT WARNER PLAYED IN DIVISION 1AA FOR GOD'S SAKE. Ben Roethlisburger and Steve Young came from the MAC and WAC.

  • Colt so much excitement in the football games that watching other games aren't the same. This guy is hands down amazing. He now has to focus on doing well so that he can beat out McNabb.

  • im from hawaii and its really sad they're wasting his talent and youth. if youre not gonna use him trade him somewhere he can start...he's already better than a lot of starters: stafford, alex smith, i might venture to say new vince young, my boy chad henne, and kevin kolb

  • Offensive line is so important, yet once in a while, some offensive linemen nerver do their job and along come SACK...im just speaking overall...

  • He is the truth! And for the people who put him down just because he played in the WAC... well then go watch your big time QBs and look at what the Media is lovin' and kissing up to. This guy is the future...hes full of heart and excitement...He brings a lot to the table....haters can continue to put him down but he wont give up, he'll just be moving forward.

  • peole who criticize his throwing way are stupid...last time i checked, philip rivers threw with the side arm as wel...people questiones his arm..and now look at him..redskins need to give this guy a chance

  • Oh....as a Fresno fan....I've seen this guy a few times....NO OTHER QB EVER TO PLAY against the Dogs lit-it-up like Colt....AND I MEAN no team...not K-State, Oregon, Oregon State, Ohio State, Wisconsin, LSU, Boise, UCLA, USC, G TECH, Washington, Oklahoma, anywhere we played...and we played some teams....NONE BETTER THAN COLT AS A QB! GLAD HE IS IN THE NFL!

  • I wish Minny would trade for him!!!

  • Don't get real excited people. There is a reason they call it the WAC! LOL! Brennan is just an overrated crack head. He'll be taking snaps in Canada before too long.

  • haha. very smart comment retard!!!

  • brennan would beat ur ass

  • Are you kidding? It doesn't matter if he was in the Sunbelt, hes still a good QB. There hasn't been to much greats from the WAC and I personally think he is the BEST QB from the WAC.

  • yeah it is the WAC. he had WAC talent around him as well, so you have to account for that. look at how he performed against BCS conference teams, still quite up there.

  • Yeah, problem with Hawai'i was the Offensive line. He was under pressure quite a bit, even La Tech. So, when he played Georgia in the Sugar Bowl, was not much of a surprise that he had no time what so ever. Non-existant running game with a poor defense wasn't really a good thing to have. Had Hawai'i had balance I think the media would LOVE Colt.

  • Colt should be allowed to prove himself at the Pro level. The Redskins need to give him the nod now!

  • He is getting his chance to prove himself and he proved to the redskins that he will make a very good bench warmer!

  • Everyone who has been around or paid attention to him, knows that Colt Brennan is a star. He's definitely underrated. I have a feeling that it's only a matter of time.

  • This was inspiring. Thanks for the memories.

  • Colt is my man he'll be starting mid season

  • i don't see the big deal with how he throws the ball...it obviously works, right?

  • I realllllly wanted the bears to draft colt (before we got cutler, of course)....he's going to surprise a lot of people when he gets his shot

  • give him time he will be a starter in washington.

  • was that colt brennan when he was little or something, what the name of that first song it was cool

  • what the 2nd song its sick.

  • Guys also you gotta admit at that hawaii college he had great wr so that helped him as well but he still is an amazing player

  • lol this guy is gunna turn out like tom brady , people under estimate him and he will become a nfl star

  • wanting new friends

    this video was good tg

  • Go Colt prove these haters wrong. WARRIOR

  • Hey whats the name of the 2nd song in this video..

  • go colt brennan

  • yes he did sweet in his preseason and people can say that doesnt mean shit because he is playing against a bad defense...in my eyes, it is even because he's not throwing to any probowlers and his line isnt any good either all you haters just wait

  • People forget that yes, he's plaing against a bad D, but it's also not like they had him QBing the full starting offense, either.

  • Colt is the man, he's gonna do great in the NFL. He's bulked up and his passes are pin-point accurate...future all-star!

  • @suicidesponger yeah colt brennan is doing great right now! LOL!

  • @suicidesponger

he will be out of the league in 2010....

  • he did very well against the colts yesterday. he went 9 of 10 for 123 yards with 2 touchdowns

  • He actually did awesome in the nfl..DUMBASS!

  • I guess your the fucking moron..he played a pre-season game fucktard. You made yourself look like a fool.

  • What hasn't already been said? He has the best accuracy in the NFL right now, and is a passing leader. You still doubt him, haha, just wait till he starts. Next Brady right here fellas.

  • Except Colt can run.

  • um...yeah he will definitely get crushed..going 9 for 10 with 123 yds and 2 TDs in his NFL debut, and winning pretty much every challenge against the top ranking QB's in his draft class.

  • Never faced a great team? What about Boise St. or Arizona State? Putting up those numbers in any conference is simply amazing. You obviously don't have a clue what you're talking about. With all the passes he threw he had the BEST accuracy percentage two years running in the NCAA. Also he broke a ton of QB records which will probably never be broken.

  • Right...if preseason means nothing, I guess that's why everyone who disregards Colt's success has disregarded the other QBs in front of him who have failed to perform well both in preseason camps and games.

  • some players suck in preson and are good in regular

some player are amazing in preseason and are terrible in regular

some are bad in both some are good in both

hence preseason doesnt mean jack shit

the only way to tell if a quarterback will be great is if you can see him playing great in the regular season

  • I totally agree. But that means that people shouldn't make that same judgement against Colt or for other inexperienced QBs.

  • seriously, if colt just gets on a good diet and in the weight room he will do wonders

  • go colt he's the shit by the way wats the second song called

  • requiem for a dream. there are a bunch of remixes

  • amazing video

  • Wuts dis song called

  • Tick Tick Tick Boom, by The Hives

  • The Colt Brennan situation with him being taken in the sixth round because of his arm and weight is realy close to what happend to tom brady in 2000 when the patriots took a chance on him

  • Yeah true. but look at Tom Brady now

he's one of the best QBs out there,

and Colt Brennan will be next!

  • I am so glad that the Redskins drafted him! What a steal to get him in the 6th round! Should QB Jason Campbell falter, I have no doubt that Colt will be able to step it up and lead my Skins to many victories. In addition, the Redskins also drafted 2 WRs (Devin Thomas and Malcolm Kelly)and a TE (Fred Davis-USC) in the 2nd round, meaning Colt will have plenty of weapons at his disposal....gotta love the future of my team!!!

  • Colt Brennan is so hot

  • you slut

  • im not a slut im just saying that he is.ok. dont over react and have a hiisy fit.

  • Sorry.

  • Dude has a wild delivery.

  • No arm strength my arse... Look at 1:24... That is called deep-ball touch.

  • Love the synchronization from 1:29-1:32.

  • this video just took my breathe away... hes sooo effin hott and yeah all the haterz be quiet.

  • Ive seen him throw 60 yards before...how can they say he doesnt have the arm strength?

  • props to the coaches at saddleback cc. his mechanics were kinda choppy in high school dude goes to a jc and hes got a release as fast as dan marino. colts gonna rewrite the record books and all these haters are gonna be outta jobs (mel kiper).

  • how did he gain so much weight that quickly he was like 185 for the combine now hes like 215

  • he was 185 at the senior bowl back in january. he was 207 at the combine and 217 at pro day

  • Did you see that guy at the bottom get demolished at 0:53?

  • how in the world did you get some these clips?

  • THANK YOU! We know Colt is the real thing. We hope there is an NFL team out there smart enough to scoop up this precious human being and make him theirs!

Colt is a man of great character.

    And he can play football.

  • that's right. eff the haters! great video.

  • Great video! I live on Kauai and could not agree more! I can't wait for the draft as whatever team Colt ends up on will be my team and whatever team it is will be darn lucky they chose Colt Brennan because the best is yet to come from him! Hawaii loves Colt!!!

  • Nice video about Colt Brennan. Although I've been a Tom Brady since his days at Michigan, and felt the same way as you do about Colt, he'll get his chance, no matter where he gets drafted. Another future Hall of Fame QB, Brett Favre, was drafted by Atlanta, and they didn't think he was going to amount to much. I think his record with Green Bay has proved those doubters wrong too. Good Luck to Colt!

    Nice job with this video!
