@bluecrow00 its an X-Y midi control pad - Matt uses them a lot. its a touch screen that can control any midi based effects, stage lighting etc. It controls 2 effects. Left being low for one, right being high, up being high for the other one, and down being low for the other one, or something like that. look them up, they are really cool. the korg kaoss pad is the best known one - matt uses the kaoss pad 2 :)

Also one more thing, on the solo, my hands are actually pretty small so i can't really do the hammer-ons on the 7th and 12th fret. Can you give me any tips on how to make my hands bigger if there is any way to do that, would really appreciate it if you respond back.

I have to agree that the tapped notes weren't held to full value, and it made the solo sound a bit separated. I have the same problem playing the solo too :P

The effects use was perfect though, and the XY pad is sounding better.
