Hitler lost war for purpose. Look at how strangly he acted. 1. He let ally escape from Dunkerque. 2. In Kursk he was winning but then he removed some troops without any reasonaple sense, but then in Stalingard he did not removed any of his forces. In Normandia he ordered troops in the wrong direction. I don't find any red line with his choices other than that he wanted lose the war.

You might want to rethink that. If Britain and France had made peace in Nov 1939, and Hitler had conquered Russia, then the Cold War would have been the West vs Germany instead of the West vs the USSR. Imagine the Cuban Missile Crisis, but with Hitler or some other Nazi maniac with his finger on the nuclear button instead of Khrushchev! Would you really trust a Nazi not to push that button? None of us would be here today, there would have been a global thermonuclear war!
