I knew Mir would had the striking advantage. Nogueira leaves himself open with no head movement on purpose. Because he wants to take it to the ground. But I picked Nogueira to win this. First HW prediction I lost. Good video.

I will never understand y people thought Griffin would beat a 17-0-1 fighter with great stand-up thats cuming off a killer KO of Liddell. Forrest is nuthin more than a fan favorite, but he's an average fighter that can take a beating. A. Silva if he steps up in weight, Rampage in a rematch(he was limping on one leg, and overweight, and didn't train for the first fight), or Vand Silva, or Liddell, and obviuosly EVANS can all murder Forrest!!!

Forrest won those first 2 rounds 10-9. Trust me, I (Josh) was there. His game plan WAS working. When it went to the ground Forrest couldn't get Rashad in his guard and Evans was able to land some hard shots and finish the deal.

I as you can tell from my screen name I live in Vegas, and was also there in section U17 row V. Forrest only landed meaningless leg kicks that had no effect on Evans accept to make him laugh back at Forrest. He simply waited patiently and took Forrest out with ease. A fight is scored on clean EFFECTIVE blows, not just CLEAN blows. The crowd got all riled up wen the kicks were landing but they clearly had no EFFECT on EVANS, cuz he was still jumpiing around and dancing on them.

You guys had to ask each other if Nog and Mir were Black belts in JuJitsu???? It doesn't give me confidence that you guys have a clue. Also you can't use MMA math to determine the winner of Jackson and Silva. Jackson's mental strength right now is in question not just becuase of his 2 previous loses to Silva but the fact he lost his title and went on a "rampage" becuase he was dehydrated and was suffering delerium. Matt and Jared are huge GSP nuthuggers so you're probably right about them picking him vs BJ. I picked Matt Serra to win in his first fight against St. Pierre. They still haven't forgiven me for hexing it. When GSP beat Serra in their 2nd fight, the tension eased a little bit.

It's kind of a lose/lose situation. If we pick something safe like say Liddell via KO some people give us crap. If we say something out of the ordinary like Anderson Silva via Decision, we get crap. No way to win. Someone will ALWAYS disagree. We average about 65% correct on our picks. Not too bad.

By the way one of us took Forrest via decision and two of us took him via TKO (not sure where you heard KO). Forrest doesn't have KO power in his punches.

Big Nog, if hes smart will keep it standing, and use his BJJ to keep it that way, hes never been submitted or tko'd, so I dont see why now, vs Frank Mir of all ppl would be able to pull it off(Guzzyvision)?

Agreed with the Okami fight. Rampage has a chance against Wanderlei if he hits him with the punch that put Liddell out. I agree with Jared, he has gotten much better that Rampage has gotten much better. I just think Quinton has never done well against good muay-thai clinches like Shogun and Wanderlei used. I'm picking Wanderlei by 2nd round TKO.
