This isnt exactly a ballad, but it is a great song. Its more of a progressive/symphonic/power hybrid. I clearly hear all of these elements and they are balanced very well. More and more these days bands are influencing each other and this brings all kinds of style combos and experiments.Personally I like it.It makes for some strange sounds at times from unusual places, but mostly its a good thing.

Olaf is one of my favourite singers, and no doubt... he is and absolute special and fantastic singer. What i like the most in his voice the total clear and "shiny" notes he can produce.

And you are right... these notes are the most astonishing in the high regions. An awsome tenor voice from a talented singer.

You can easily recognize his voice in a second.

That is true for many bands, and those many bands are shit who only want money. Off the top of my head I can think of any rapper or hip hop artist. It's bulshit to think the profit from buying CDs goes to the bands since most of it goes to the recording company. Either way - I'm a student paying high tuition + I find having digital copies much more convenient. If you're an idiot buying music from Apple, well... good luck.
