Very nice video. I have the hdmi cable from best buy. When I hook up the my tablet to the tv with the hdmi cable. I don't get quality sound. Is there a setting on the tablet I should adjust. Also very poor quality sound through my surround sound system.

the video part of the xoom was great and you did a great job.but i think you paid to much for that tablet because they have a wifi version coming soon unless you needed the 3g/4g...with cell phones offering hotspots built in i don't see a need for a 3g/4g model at $800 but at $600 its not bad...so thanks to you and your video i think i will pick up a motorola xoom,but samsung has one coming out too,but there's no need to wait..oh and i heard flash is out for the xoom now..wow seem great.
You should be able to download Rockplayer from the market to play AVI and MKV files (maybe others?) without any converting at all. I can't remember if AVI is better than MP4, but a really good, free option to convert to AVI is AutoGK. Not trying to promote, but maybe it'll do you some good. Hopefully getting mine on the 27th. Oh, and make sure you check out the stuff they're doing to the Xoom over at the XDA forums too. Anyway, thanks for all the videos about the xoom!!
