Mac: horrible value in that you can get a lot more for your money.

*nix: impractical for just about everything other than UI customization.

Windows: makes me around $1,500 a week using a high-end PC that cost me as much as a low-end Mac. Can't do that nearly as easily without an effient RAD tool, which both *nix and Mac lack, as far as I'm aware.

My WINDOWS 7 pc and my WINDOWS XP pc and my brother's WINDOWS VISTA pc and my sister's WINDOWS 7 pc and my sister's WINDOWS XP and my mother's WINDOWS 98 pc have all not crashed once. Yeah I got VUNDO one of the worst fucking viruses ever on my xp, no bluescreen.

The only computer I had that got a bluescreen was a fucking fake bluescreen. Some virus attacked my comp with bluescreens that were fake. How do I know they were fake? I could x them out.

BSODs mostly occurred with the Windows 9x platforms, and that was only because of the transition from 3.0 > 9x and poorly coded software when people were getting used to the new OS... BSODs are pretty rate with 2000+ versions

What? I've used NT 4.0, and seen plenty of BSODs. Windows 2000 throws a BSOD when the graphics card overheats, same with xp. Vista just BSODs when it feels like it. 98 and Me just BSOD when you try multitasking. I've used all of these a fair bit, and I know what I'm talking about.

NT gets a different type of BSoD that is very rare. I have never seen a BSoD on the following OSes I go on alot:

Windows 2000

Windows XP

Even Windows Vista!

I gotta agree with him... in a way. I've never gotten BSOD unless it was a system not made to run the OS (such as a computer designed for 2000 running xp). That or if the guy running the computer fucks around with settings. The point is that windows was and still is designed to be a business OS. Every company I've been to runs windows. And they all don't crash every day. Why? Because IT sets em up right. So if you're smart with computers, you can get XP working for you without any problems.

Ok, I really like windows but even I say that's bull shit. My personal XP machine has never seen a BSOD and it's over 5 years old but that doesn't mean it can't happen. I had a little POS laptop one with windows 2k and it got BSOD every hour (literally). Just like people can claim all they want that macs don't get BSOD or anything but they do. Think "Kernal Panics" or "Pinwheel of Death".
