  • You might be right. It's still stiupid.

  • I think Stevie ment to click the like button when rating this video. :/

  • I am dark and you are light..........you are blind as a bat and I have sight.

Side by side you are my amigo, negro, lets not fight.

  • @manguy2000 Dont forget the band Paul was in was called The Clarences. Until PAulk and John took his songs and kicked him out of the band.

  • @2199 What?

  • @IFantasticMrFoxI Joe Piscopo and Eddie Murphy did a skit were Eddie claims to the fifth Beatle and the band was really called the Clarence's.

  • @2199 Ah I see.

  • Mind = Blown

  • LOVE IT!

  • Here's the deal. I haven't taken the time to read all of the comments. But, the metaphore this song is built on is simply stupid. White and black keys next to each other on a piano produce dissonance. There needs, at the very least, to be a space in between the two. If that's what they're trying to say, it's not terribly politically correct. "Perfect harmony"? Not "side by side". Just stupid.

  • @bigmarty56 The song isnt only about harmony, it's also about two pianists, one black one white who play together with one hand each. Look it up.

  • @forgotenm 'living in perfect HARMONY' it's about races.

  • DAMN ! SR PAUL YOU LOOK GREAT BUT DAMN STEVIE DOES NOT GET ANY OLD..

  • This is epic

  • Maravilloso!!!!!!

  • Amazing, they sound great together, Paul I love You with all my soul!!!

    AMAZING D:

  • He's SIR Paul McCartney. He can go to Chick-Fi-La or Burger King, they'll say may I help you SIR! (Never mind I just remembered he's a vegetarian.)

  • @Froleyboy whether or not hed eat it he could go to burger king and order a bigmac and hed get it

  • fxxk the racists!

  • Como disfrutan haciendo música. Son fantásticos!

  • It's so awesome that Paul has the same band at every concert, instead of random backing people.

  • I am excited to see this video .. I pull a tear

  • Paul McCartney and Stevie Wonder in the same room? holy fuck.

  • @Arian545 Yep. Just like 30 years ago :)

  • amazing

  • it's great

  • @DRPringles94 your just a ignorant peice of shit how can a person dislike a whole race? i just cant belive that people like you make our country look bad but im glad racists are going away now its only little bits of ignorance like you around and the whole black white think is soo silly and ignorant to me when in reality there is no such thing as black or white its been scientifically proven that there is no race there is only the human race.

  • @sarafranco100 thanks for the reaction :)

  • @DRPringles94 huh?? yh your very weird

  • Aw, that was so sweet at the end. Paulie so sweet.

  • if john and george are still alive i know there will be there hehehe =) with ringo and paul

  • Paul's musical equipment is legendarily well-traveled: that same Hofner bass guitar and those same Vox amplifiers that played here at the White House for the President of the United States also once played in seedy little bars in Liverpool and Hamburg.

  • @stringhawke Not really. His current bass is a replica of the famous one. And, his bar bass was actually different from the one he made famous during Beatlemania days. I don't think he's used a Vox amp in awhile. Last I knew, he was using Mesa bass equipment.

  • @dytakeda Actually, i read somwhere that the hofner is the same one, just not the first one. This is one he was given in 63

  • @dytakeda The original one would be too old and broken. I believe that John would've not accepted this recognition, his principles were strong regarding wars. Iraq, etc. A mess of a war, more important than fame and fortune...

  • @MsGnorts Actually, I'm fairly certain the original Hofner bass is fine, but he doesn't tour with it any more, but uses a replica instead. You can tell the original bass because it still has a Beatles' set list taped the top edge, near the neck and body joint.

This is one interesting aspect of Paul's personality. For all his wealth and influence, he's not a gear hound. I don't think he's concerned with his instruments as long as they serve his needs.

  • @dytakeda Hello everyone, this is indeed the original Hofner Violin Bass, first used on the Royal Variety Performance in 1963.

His first Hofner Bass was stolen, during filming for Let It Be, it had the Hofner Logo written vertically on the headstock and had two pick ups that were close together on the body, it was used on The Revolution film.

This Hofner he is paying at The Whie House is indeed The Beatles Bass

Paul had the set list taken off his Hofner whilst recording Flaming Pie

  • @odgy65 I've been to Paul's East Sussex home and Studio and had the privilege of jamming with him, I even posed with this very Hofner Violin Bass, it is indeed the very one.

He also has a back up Hofner Violin Bass which he never ever uses

  • @odgy65 how did you manage to meet Paul and jam with him?

  • is this the 1st time paul and stevie have performed this together?

  • OH MY GOOOOOOD!! MUSIC FOR MY HEART!!!!

  • Awesome

  • It was about darn time Sir Paul got something from the American public like this. The Kennedy Center has said several times they will never honor him simply because he's not American. He has done so much for American popular music that it's only right we honor him with some type of recognition for all his work. I'm glad it could be through the Gershwin Prize. And you know what, Paul personally asked The Jonas Brothers to perform that night because he wanted someone the girls knew of there so

  • This song is fantastic.

  • Fantastic!!!

  • The President Obama and Michelle are wonderfull and are persons with we.

Sir Paul MacCartney is the bether of music pop and Rock of the World.

  • fuck Obama!! Paul is too good for him!! Look at those dumb fucks watching this show....is that a rock and roll crowd??

  • @skidrow75 well ... that's not exactly a rock n roll song ... so ...

  • Thanks for this, amazing to see them together, unlike the video!

  • @beatlesdaze1 Were they not actually together in the video? I never knew that haha.

  • @almj9 There's actually a slip-up in the video near the start where you can see Paul's reflection on the piano lid but not Stevie's :D

  • @FlameClaw ... look at it again! You can clearly see Stevie's reflection swaying side to side.

  • @FlameClaw Haha ahh okay! I'll look out for it ;)

  • @beatlesdaze1 they were inthe video but not during the filming of the video
