Really doesn't matter. Though, I would say learn on an acoustic first. I say that just because acoustics are harder to fret (hold the chords) than electrics and such. Other than that, guitars are all fundamentally the same.

I got a cochlear implant to restore my hearing june 15th 2011, and I have just fallen in love with the delta blues. If a deaf guy can play dem blues then you can play anything!!!!

I met two of Muddy Waters sons at Ground Zero Blues Club in Clarksdale MS. I talked with them for about a half hour after the show. They are really down to earth kinda guys. I'm sure they would like this video too. Great job

I started at 16,so you're well ahead now. The important thing is to play every day and to listen to the music you want to play (that's half the battle).

There's plenty of teaching materials available now so that's a plus too.
