It's not supposed to be "interesting", it's supposed to assemble things for human need. Thus freeing humans from repetitive, unfulfilling jobs.
It doesn't matter if its pre-programmed to assemble cameras, is that really any different from hundreds of workers in rows being "pre-programmed" to assemble cameras?
when you tell the workers how to assemble the camera, they are human, they recognize the part A and Part B, and they are free to move their arms to grab the two parts and put them together at their will, they can do it with left hand or right hand. at free will.

robots are bittersweet. some jobs they would be great for, and others take away jobs that people once did. eventually, they'll do everything that a human once did, and i hate it.

can someone translate what they are saying?..
Is it preprogrammed to pick up parts and install them in preprogrammed locations?
What kind of logic is it programmed with?
How much does the controlling computer "know" about the parts; and about what it needs to do?
cause if its completely programmed then its not that interesting..

it can work in BIO/GENE labs,
control the time,
calculate the amount of liquids,
stir the bottles,
mix the liquids,
carry the bottles,
inject the liquid above the surface of another liquid,
calculate & identify & select the cells + subunits.
SAVE the life time of researchers!

if it can visually recognize shape/color of things & adjust them to the direction/position required, it's great for manufacturing industry.
