It is possible that brakes overheated, then EDS (which is a subset of ESP) (simulation of differential lock using brakes) is turned off until they cool down.
allow me to explain what is happening when the ESP is OFF. because the left side is on ice and the right side is on asphalt, there will be no transfer of torque from the left to the right side because the front and rear diff are open; the car thinks it's turning. Torsen center diff only works between front and rear wheel slippage, not side to side. why ESP did not limit wheelspin when it was on just beats me, maybe his is broken? I know this because I have the same car and it works on my mine
@Juzernejm1991 if he had a sport diff, its essentially a limited slip diff but with two clutches that sends more power to the outer wheel during a corner, even when ESP is off. But in a straight line, im not sure that concept applies because the power to each wheel depends on the input from the steering angle...
From what I've seen and read, the more gas you give it, the faster the AWD system can react and apply more power to the non-slipping wheels. Try that, do this same trial again but next time accelerate hard, if not all together to the floor and see the difference!!!
