I heard this on the radio last friday and forgot all about it afterwards. Then yesterday I suddenly started humming the chorus, I couldn't recall what song it was and i couldn't stop! Then I started singing the lyrics and it was this one. I don't know Gilbert O'Sullivan but I think its a great musician if you can write songs which people get in their heads all of a sudden and start singing without wanting to but in the end turn a liking to the song.

One of the best singers of all time. In 1987 having tried for the good part of a decade, I finally got his greatest hits C.D. I was so happy to get it after trying dozens of places in several countries including Australia, Japan, The U.S. and all over the U.K. Oh how times have changed with downloads etc. you can get any record you want now. I hear he will be performing at Glastonbury and has a new single out called "Never Say Die" it's great but not on YouTube yet as of 27th June 2008
