Some of the people's questions are hard to understand but that's to be expected. So jealous that you got to attend this. I would LOVE to go to Comic-Con.
Sorry, I was nervous as hell to get the first question. (I'd been aced out in both the DW and TW panels.) I said words to the effect that because James Marsters ("Spike" from BtVS) has made the leap to being "Captain John Hart" on TW, John Barrowman has starred on Broadway, and Gareth David-Lloyd has his own band, has Joss Whedon ever considered approaching RTD about writing a "Once More With Feeling" (musical episode) for Torchwood? He said no, but I hope the answer will eventually be "yes."
I asked the first question about the possibility of a Torchwood "Once More With Feeling." The bit you missed at the beginning (and the reason the audience is laughing) is I started with, "This question is for Joss." He retorted with a joking, "How dare you, sir!" I waited for the laughter to die down and replied, "That's MADAME to you."
Wow. Your question was great and I would kill to see a Torchwood "Once More with Feeling". Hopefully this somehow drifted over to RTD. *fingers crossed*
@MelindaKitty For incorporating Joss god-of-all Whedon and the masterful Doctor Who(TW) I will love you forever. Do you have an address? Somewhere I caan send an enormous fruit basket? ;D
Loved Nathan Fillion's in-character response to the last question. Maybe it's just because I'm a huge Firefly fan, but his performance was the highlight of the whole show for me.
Thanks for posting - and also for the explanation of what the girl was saying to the panel (I had no clue and it almost seemed like it could have something semi-insulting towards one of them on the panel) .. Nathan's response makes a lot more sense
She basically said that she found out her brain was deteriorating and how does one retain their sense of humor when that happens. The same person also asked a similar question in another panel (I think Family Guy?) which elicited a similar reaction, so I'm not sure if it was a joke?
The girl who asked that was very young and had just been diagnosed with a disorder. I like to think we told her NOT to mention the brain deteriorating thing, but was so hyper and nervous at the time I really can't recall. I think she would've been better off to just ask her simple question, "What do you do to cheer yourself up/make yourself happy?"
*shrug*
It's one of those questions that just came out wrong. The guys played it very well, though. I have to give them a lot of credit.
1 person is an idiot.

OOH!!! PICK ME!!! PICK ME!!!

(I'm just relieved he laughed.)
And I would do almost ANYTHING for a TW musical.

The diabolical genius of Joss Whedon and Russel T. Davies combined might rupture the space time continuum.
Awesome.

... That last question could've gone horribly, horribly wrong. I'm glad Fillion had the good sense of humor to make it not joykilling.

Gah - what a freakishly uncomfortable, downer-y thing to bring up in front of a roomful of people. :(
