  • Huh? The guy hardly has any accent, but he speaks fast and the audio's pretty sucky. Fun talk though.

  • I think the lady introducing him probably has a big crush on him, she did a lot smiling on the introduction, normally that much smiling leads to bedroom linked lists talks. - I reckon they would have super smart kids together. I hope they get their Algorithms together.

  • @theapeman10

Oh no, but in France having a crush on somebody is the rule not the exception:))

  • i enjoyed this lecture very much and despite how surprised you may turn out to be the only answer for making things optimum "PLANE & SIMPLE" is the lever law:

multiply all them PLANES in all their dimensions and SIMPLY set their product to be 1 (universality demands this) then solve the system between the sum of the highest ranked like powers being equal to 1 and all the other sums of likely ranked powers equal to 0. you have as many equations as there are variables... have a pleasant math.

  • My head hurts

  • i got accepted to MIT! bitchess lol, really i got accepted

  • @dudeB15 - You got accepted in MIT, was there a job going as a doorman :-) only joking - good luck with the studies.

  • what's the last bit? we completely ? the aspect of math (decomposition, dimension reduction, transformation, meta-description).

  • This is a great speech...there's no common language for it so it can't be neatly packaged, and it wouldn't really change anything...but it hints at Zen. Of course the nature of Zen or Ultimate Interconnectedness or what have you is that it's irreducibly complex, so it can't be made any more or less "accessible" than it is, but this is a nice way of hinting at it.

The Name which can be named is not the True Name.

  • english is not my natural language, and i understand it perfectly, who doesnt understand is retard or non english (nor from usa).

  • excellent video.

  • Haha, I love it! Awesome video

  • great class about algorithms !

it's only a hobby, but im now working on algorithms on what i call .. the illogical logic ...

sounds confusing but entertaining to me !

  • Those of you complaining that Chazelle "doesn't know how to speak English" might consider that Chazelle is originally from France, which accounts for the accent. It's a recognizably French accent that is easy to understand.

  • cmon guys .. in 10 seconds i was able to synchronize with his speaking style ... are u guys down or what ?

  • Thou speaketh the truth. One fortnight thee language of thine forefathers will be perverted beyond recognition.

  • @creationrules damn religious language

  • @wilsparky

how many languages do you know???

  • @wilsparky Why don't you start to learn another language than your own and sole English instead of criticizing foreigners who speak English very well but with an accent. Your comment is shallow, haughty and imperialistic. I wish I could speak one of the foreign languages I speak as well as this guy speaks English.

  • what the hell is he talking about?

not that i dont understand , it just

    that doesnt make sense !

  • Shame about the sound quality

  • Wow!
