Good video. I like the original better. I can't seem to find it on here. Sean Penn directed the original (offical) video and it is very touching. Not that this is bad, I just would like to see the original again. It's been a long time.
I am 48 years old. Entire generations of my family, including my father have fought in wars. I remember, cruelly, the loss of my cousins in Vietnam who were 10 years older than I. You don't have to agree with wars but you always support the people from your country in them. God Bless America and liberty and justice for all of our global community.

Nothing anyone says can take away the feeling of standing on the battlefield with brothers and sisters or arms. That gave some good flash backs..thank you. Politics and cowards that know nothing of bravery have caused me to forget my sacrifices.
Look.. at the end of many a weary day, there will ALWAYS be 2 sides to this war. Wether we like it or not, troops from all over the world are there doing what they have to do. The song is a wonderful and beautiful piece. I dont agree with the usage of this specific song in this clip, but thats my perogative. PEACE to us all. We dont need to fight each other in here.
I wouldn't go so far to call people who disagree with your opinion wimps, but the exists a need for both those opposed to fighting and those prone to it. If we were all fighters what progress could there be in the world? We could do with less fighting and more progress.

i would say the person who posted this has read a book or two. I found the meaning in it. Whether Crosby would agree, is strictly assumption. I saw where the song fit in, and if you opened your mind a little, you would too. Don't be so close minded!!
