It's not that God's top priority is hatred and loathing for a group, God loves the homosexual to the same measure he loves the heterosexual. We are to hate the SIN, not the PERSON. It is a comparable situation of someone with alcoholism. Just because they are genetically disposed does not give justification for a behavior and lifestyle that can lead to death. You love the person, depise the alcoholism. Just like with homosexuals, you LOVE the person, and do not tolerate the sexual perversion.

@Stan1208 If you're trying to get people not to like you, you're doing a great job! Speaking as an unbeliever, Christianity to me, evokes images of who-the-hell-asked-you judgmentalism, political deceit and manipulation, and hatred of homosexual.

Here's a thing: most people under 25 know someone that is gay and are totally okay with people being gay. That's generation-wide.

The reward for prejudice and zero compassion is irrelevancy.

How many times does the Bible mention loving and accepting your neighbor? How many times does it mention charity and giving to the poor? The priority of Christians are all wrongside out.

You are merely part of the liberal emergent church movement that has nothing to do with Jesus! You are false teachers that we are warned against in the Bible! Heresy always breeds more evil, and the closer any lie comes to the heart of the Gospel, the more diabolical is the fruit it bears. You are attempting to portray half a Saviour, trying to bring Jesus love to the world, without also boldly illuminating His love with His truth! However, without His truth, there cannot be His love!

pagan Christianity is enlightening and well worth reading. However, it bears no resemblance to this work of heresy! Quite sneaky they are in how they present this information, but isn't that always the way to mislead? Sprinkle just enough truth to make folks think it's all good and honest. Their false teaching and magic dust is abominable! Narrow is the way that leads to life, and few there be that find it. The love of many will grow cold. He who stands firm to the end shall be saved.

gabe & david......great work on this book! we are using it as our first teaching series in our three week old church start. We are getting great feebdback and 'kudos' for tackling the perceptions and questions 'outsiders' are asking.....they are coming back and engaging in dialogue. very timely!
