No doubt Thai King is the richest king in the world who has net worth of 35+Billion USDollars, as many countries know he is ‘the King of kings’, and Thai king has killed many innocent people in the past and through-out today for his wealth. As you know, you shouldn’t talk ‘lese majestically’ about Thai monarchy, if you do you should be beware of the ‘Queen Tiger Army’ will after your family deaths up to 7 generations, and you will face 15+ years in prison.
Long Live The King. We have to be united in order for the King to be happy. And we should try to forgive those who make a negative comment on our King ignoring who he really is and what he has done for Thailand and its people for over 60 years. However, it would not be possible to try to educate them as they would never understand these facts.
If all thai's say they love the king ,the king could of come out during the turmoil was happen and end the choas by telling his sujects to go home.Where was the king?
Bumibhol became King Rama IX by killing his own brother King Rama VIII. To hide the murder, he let execute all witnesses-his servants Chit and Butr and his secretary Chaleo by accusing them of an asassination. Two of the defendants of the three were murdered, another two charged with treason. Without evidence the three were convicted and executed. After years, when it became clear they were innocent, Bumibhol try to blame the murder on a japanese Agent, who wasn´t even in Thailand that time.
BobTucker2's comment: The Thai King is a constitutional monarch. His only power is the trust and faith on the Thai people which he earns anew each day. He has no role in government and no political power. He is the living symbol and moral guide of his country. He works each day for the Thai people. He has guided his country from dictatorship to democracy. He personally directs and funds thousands of projects to help the less fortunate. He is a great man and a great King.
I watched the ceremony at home on that day as the street leading to the palce were crowded as people came to reserve their seats on the avenues two days before the ceremony. I can't stop my tear when I saw him smile and later I found out that NONE of the Thai who witnessed the event can hold their tears even in the public.
Today, the Bangkok Posts reports that an overwhelming majority of Thai voters approved the new Thai Constitution in yesterday's vote. Nationwide, more than two-thirds of voters approved the new Constitution, and a solid majority of voters approved the Constitution in every region of Thailand. Prime Minister Surayud reiterates that the general election for a democratic Thai government will be held in December. Thailand will return to democracy by year's end. The Thai people have won.
" I urge everyone in this congregation and Thais from all walks of life to cherish and firmly uphold righteousness and moral integrity. This dedication to moral security should be undertaken without interruption, so the country can live on with happiness, now and in the future"<<<<King Bhumibol Adulyadej. (Thank you, RexRocketMaggie)
