Hi there, thank you for the comment! ^_^

Wow really? That all sounds awesome! Mine has had head gasket done, welding to the sills, new front brake discs and pads too! I just passed my test and I'm only 17 years old. I use my Matiz to travel to and from college oh and insurance only costs my dad £1,500 which fiar play aint bad! XD

I hope you enjoy many motoring pleasure miles in your Matiz...they're great fun!!

  • @gt4driftster

I'm also on my dad's insurance policy and its costing him £1,500 with me on the polciy as a named driver. This price is with Quintin Jones insurance PLC. Its based in South Wales about 10 mins from my house lol. Cheers, Dan.

  • cool car- :D

  • @hugospectrum4v

Ohh why thank you, much appreciated lol :P

  • @dannyisso well yes, not all people can afford a ferrari, porsche...or ford focus, honda..etc. It´s a good car, thats why it`s a Chevrolet Spark, Daewoo Matiz or a Chery IQ and maybe other car brand out there....afer this car 5 manufactures follow the same example...Citroen create the C1, the Peugeot made the 107, then ByD with the f0, and the Geely Panda and Suzuki Celerio or Alto.- And i own one Matiz and it never fail.- :D

  • @hugospectrum4v

Awh indeed, aha you got a Matiz too :P...aha nice hehe...

  • Are you in love with this car ???? (B^)-|||||< I like the fact you checked it was taxed, After all, if Plod or the Gov't stole my car off the road then committed a criminal offence of crushing it, I'd be rather upset! Oh as I write Illusion by Imagination GREAT TUNE they were the 80's! anyway back to the Matiz!, Wouldn't advise putting those crook locks over steering wheels with airbags! It has been known to be a killer if the bag go's off when placing one of those locks over it!

  • @one2nd1

No I'm not in love with my car, I just think its awesome. I have wanted a Matiz ever since it was launched when I was a young kid I just love the look of them, the tiny engine and the fun feeling when I drive it. lol I was not checking if it was taxed haha! In this video I was showing a shot of the original Dealer tax disc holder from when my Matiz was supplied brand new. I know about the lock thing & airbag, but I have to put it on as where I live its a bad area ...Joyriders etc

  • @one2nd1

LOL and I shouldnt worry. The airbags will ONLY ever go off if my Matiz was involved in a frontal collision or accident where the sensors near the bumper will then go to the airbag ECU setting the aitbags off. Otherwise it wont go off....not even if I was to kick the front of the Matiz hard or if I were to punch the steering wheel airbag or if I place the steering wheel lock thing. I really have to use it as I said, I live in a bad area.

  • Interesting video. I'm getting one soon.

  • @eatshit740

Thank You for the kind comment. Oh your getting one? Hey....Good choice! I hope yours serves you well as mine has.

  • @dannyisso Your welcome. Yes, But I'm buying as a non runner. I need a new ecu.

  • @eatshit740

Ah as non runner requiring a new ECU. I believe that witha new ECU it will need keys programmed to it. Unless you buy a second hand ECU with a set of keys that are programmed to it from a Scrapyard or something. Good luck with it.

  • @dannyisso I intend to get a secondhand one. So cheers mate I will need the luck. Happy motoring.

  • Enough room in the back for 2 people ?

  • @InteligentMan

Hi there, Yup there certainly IS room in the back for 2 people. Kids, teens or fully grown adults. Head room is very good so is leg room. Very roomy for a small city car! lol

  • @dannyisso Thanks! Btw, great videos. Cheers and... drive safe :)

  • @InteligentMan

No problem. Aww thank you, hehe will do.

  • just purchest my first car witch is a matiz same as yours but gold, everythings good with the car even came with a cd changer and sub i only wish it had more power hills kill it !!

  • @jordowned

Very good choice you've made there!! :D Just maintain the water coolant levels as the head gaskets tend to go on Matiz's :(

Enjoy the car lolzz as am enjoying mine and BTW I agree with the hill bit.....they can be so slow on hills haha! XD

  • @jordowned Did you get the 0.9 as I have seen one used and thinking of getting it. also by kills it do you mean 3 or second gear as my Citroen AX is 4 geared and that is 1.0 and sometimes I have to go down to second.

Also another question. how is it on the motorway because I use it to go about 60 miles to a hospital for appointments for my son.

  • @LeightonW87 its the 0.8 and going up hills you sometimes need to go into second if it a long hill but if its just a small hill it can cope, on motorways its a nice cruser 4th is good but 5th is a better gear for its as it seems to level out the engin more and not make it work as hard its also a very smooth ride for small wheels

  • @jordowned Ok, thanks. went for a test drive in it the other day and found the clutch pedel very stiff, is that a normal thing, but it could be I'm just too used to my ax. lol

  • @LeightonW87

Oh right. No the clutch pedal should go down to the floor and up smoothly. This means that you will be able to find the 'biting point' easily and get the Matiz moving. Either its your clutch....the pedal itself OR the clutch pedal CABLE lol
