@aussiemuscle308 Actully they did. Was part of a new colony, then they had to dump cargo to be lighter, due to some " Incident " , with Gravity Issues on the ship. Long Shot, but I will take any answer I can get. As far as being in space for 300 Years, who knows ? Maybe a Nebula protected it ?
The thing that got me in this scene, is after floating in space for 300+ years, even if the fluids didn't boil off due to the lack of pressure, that anything else would have been frozen, and most likely would have ruptured the lines it was in. Bringing this truck in, and starting it right up as soon as you did? Not going to happen.
A car can be likely to not start after spending two years on the ground. 300+ years in the freezing, mico-comet infested space? I don't think so.
Tom is a total dork. It almost looked like Jnaeway and Torres were going to knock over the console when they ducked. LMAO!!! That woulda been funny to see.
The best part of this scene was actually not in the vid: Torres scans the back, rattles off some chemical compounds, and Tom Paris says, "Oh, that's manure."
Torres was unable to identify shit without a tricorder. Wow.
something seemed odd about that start. in a Normal situation, after a long time, the Carb Float Bowls would be bone dry and most likely varnished from lack of use.
I wonder if they kept it in the cargo bay all the way back to earth... I mean Neelix's ship was kept on Voyager until he left and we never got to see it, I'm sure they had room for a beat up old pickup truck.
They never did explain why it was floating in space.

Janeway, actually. And she knows what it is because she's a fan of farm-life.

Good Question!
While we're at it, what ever happened to the Borg baby they got in the episode where they picked up the borg kids?
And what about the bathtub Chakotay built Janeway, did they keep that?
Inquiring minds want to know!!!
