They're 'making' the vocaloids, and rin and len come out wrong with mismatched eyes, but they only want rin. So they're going to kill len and 'recycle' his body. That's why there is a red x on his face, and why it says 'donor' in the blood and on miku's name tag. He sees Rin and asks her where the exit is, she points him in that direction, and he can't take her with him. The scientists or whatever come looking for him, and rin tells them where he is and then kills them.

Len and Rin were both "incomplete" or "failuers". So the scientists decided to "complete" one of them, kill one and join it with the other (in this case, the eye represents that) to make it complete. They had chosen Len (which is why he was marked with an X on his cheek) but Rin decided to take his place. The last part, Rin said "We may have switched bodies (she died instead of him/he pretended she was Len) but you will still remain a nobody (even if they 'complete' him with Rin)."

I think that they created Rin and Len but screwed up their eyes, making them a failure. When the scientists decided to "Recyle" len and take his eye to give to Rin, he ran away, trying to save him and Rin. But Rin, being the stubborn one, stayed and ended up telling the scientists where Len ran to. She then FINALLY realises that these people want to kill len, but len gave up and gave in to save his sisters life.

OK! so in the beginning Rin and Len are considered failures so they want to "recycle" them but only Len knows that when they try to run away all they see are white walls. Rin sees the exit at tells Len to run. The doctors ask her where Len is and she tells them but when she sees weapons she protects Len. She switches their right and left eyes and they technically switched bodies as said in the beginning. It says congratulations Rin because Len is now in rin's body

Rin and Len, failures for imperfection. The people (possibly the same ones from Kakome, Kakome) asked Rin where Len was. Rin didn't realize they were going to kill him, so she said, "Over there." They went to him with weapons, then Rin realized they were bad. With a knife in hand, she followed them. Then, she killed some, and possibly scared them off. Rin switched clothes with Len. If you noticed, Len sounded like Rin in the last speaking part. She wanted to sacrifice herself instead.

Len was being chased by the scientists, they wanted to sacrifice to make Rin the "successful" one, but the ones that caught Len were killed by Rin, therefore giving some time to do something before the other scientists came, Rin changed clothing and hair with Len. Len became the "Successful".

Two things confuse me, 1 how would the scientists later on not know it was rin since Len and Rin sound very different, if they asked Len to sing he would sound like Len and therefore the scientists would have to redo him again. Also Why is Meiko there? I thought this was the twin's version of Knowledge of the late, madness. So why is Meiko there if shes the one killing them off? The doctors...scientist..dudes (.x.) were making a Rin, but they failed, and made a Rin AND Len, each having a blue and yellow eye. Since they wanted a Rin, they decided to kill Len and give the eye color they wanted to Rin. Len, knowing this, tried to save himself. Rin realized this, and killed off the doctors chasing Len(I think to detain them enough) for her to switch places with Len. In the end they (not knowing) took Rin and fixed up Len.

Moral of story: Rin sacrified herself for Len :3
