@sexytubes they now have quake live its pretty much exactly the same as Q3 except its free played through a browser and has slightly updated graphics(sadly you can no longer blow other players apart into a shower of body parts lol) but it still has the chat and same gameplay,its the only online shooter i play :D

Halo isnt the only game that fucked up FPS games, you gotta include CoD, Gears, Rainbow Six, Medal of Honor, Bad Company, and many others... which made FPS games the slowed down unnecessarily realistic, shit pile it is today. Grab a Shotgun, close in by evading the rockets & rails best you can by strafe jumping in unexepected ways and make the bugger eat some shells... On a side note, don't compare this with other shooters; they all suck in comparison.

Quake 3 Arena looks like Deathmatch classic for me :S Even the weapons look the same xD Today I'd prefer Unreal Tournament 3, because the gameplay is almost the same and it has much better graphics. Well, graphics isn't everything... Maybe it's like Counter-Strike 1.6 compared to Counter-Strike: Source, I still prefer 1.6 :D
