this video is just one more proove that dog's charachter depends from it's owner...i'm a big fan of bullmastiff and this is really one of the best breed!!! greetings from slovenia :p :))
The bigger the dog, the more they love little kids. I grew up down the street from a Great Dane, who loved to play with all the kids in the neighborhood. When he died, we were all heartbroken. Even had a doggie funeral where a bunch of us went to the neighbor's house for the burial.
I had a pure bred bullmastiff, it became well sought after for breeding. That dog in this video is the spitting image and size of my dog. Who ever suggest that dog in this video is not a bullmastiff, doesn't know what they are talking about.
@xKomodoFireWolf bahahaha your an idiot. that is most definitely a BULL mastiff. you obvioulsy dont know your mastiffs. its a great looking bullmastiff too. perfect breed standard
@xKomodoFireWolf Hate to say it, but WELCOME TO YOUTUBE. IF you slip with facts there is NO mercy. But being called an idiot is nothing to worry about :)
i think baby's and dogs are the best couple. Most people believe that a dog would become jealous of the baby and misbehave but they actually accept babies as if it were their little sibling that's why the play so well together.
@punkxcore19 Firstly, whether or not I do copy and paste this particular comment onto all dog videos I don't approve of is my prerogative, but in answer to your question the answer is no I won't be. I do take what you say on board, it's certainly a valid point you make in regards to the fact that the baby is indeed being held by its father presumably, and that in this situation the child doesn't appear to be in any imminent danger. But call me what you will, it's just not what I'd do. Peace.
I can't help but be of the opinion that this is highly irresponsible from the parents of that baby. OK OK we all know that certain breeds (Rottweiler/ Pitbull etc) are widely known to be more likely of an aggressive disposition than most other breeds, but what if it accidentally paws the baby's face and catches its eye or scars its face? I'm sorry but I really don't like the idea of mixing BABIES with animals, REGARDLESS of how timid/domesticated they may be.
@LukedelNacho Believe it or not these dogs are usually pretty gentle. Of course not all dogs are like this, it all boils down to breeding and also the owner of the dog. I have a mastiff mix and he's pretty good with my 7 year old son with autism. Would I trust my son alone with the dog, no of course not and that is where most parents make their mistakes is leaving the child alone with the dog.
@LukedelNacho Are you going to copy and paste this comment onto all dog videos you don't approve of? I don't understand how the parents are being irresponsible, the dad is holding the baby beside the family dog. He's obviously a nice dog, and it's not like they're leaving the two alone in a room together. I feel sorry for your kids if you have any, they'll probably only be allowed to have goldfish. God forbid a family has a dog AND a baby, right!!
@stijnxd You are totally wrong, they were not used for fighting bulls. Stop commenting if you dont have a clue, too many people does that shit and I hate it!
@Sebhaugland lol you are totally wrong.. my friend has 2 bull mastiff's both adopted from a resque organisation that got them away from the bullfights.. I got my facts
so please don't react on my comment when you have nothing usefull to say please..
i love this dog i had 2 but one sadly had to be put down (he had cancer) theyand the other was one was sold cause we now live in greece and the weather would have been 2 hot for him but they were xmas babys....well boxing day babys. that the reason we named then after famous boxers bruno after (frank bruno) and rocky after (Rocky Marciano)and i miss them so much. some of my friend have some bullmastiff and when i go and see there dogs always remember me and it put a smiles back on my face.
So, just curious...do you use the chain around his neck to pull your car when you run out of gas LOL?...he is a hoss. He looks like such a gentle giant. I wouldn't dare mess with the kid when he is around =)
How old is your bully? We are thinking about getting one but with as fast as they grown it could be an issue (we live overseas with the Military). Love the video
@HvyMetal4Ever lol the chain is used because he'd break all the others so we had to make one of our own from home depot. He's 5 today actually! he's a christmas baby! and id recommend getting one, we love him!
I have a bull mastiff too . her name is winter. We adopted her. her owners used to mistreat her like kicking her and beating her with a broom . when she first came. she was so scared of everything . even when i held a umbrella . But now she is so lively and active. Bull mastiffs are my fave dogs
bullies are absolutely the greatest dogs to own. i got mine from the city pound & i never thought id ever find the perfect dog. now i know that bullmastiffs are them.
your dog is adorable, i was just showing my daughter videos of some, my bullmastiff, buster, had to be put down when he was 5 with cancer, but he was such a lovely dog, fantastic with the children in the family. not just the one's from the same household, but the cousins he never used to see that often. lovely, well behaved (except puppy years with shoe's) and loyal dogs.
I think I love this video :) I am a proud owner of two Mastiffs, and they are the same way. The most loving, patient, child friendly dogs I have ever come across. They are wonderful family dogs!
Tell you what I think? I think such vids are wonderful. Big, gentle lugs who are extremely patient/tolerant w/children. The only thing to watch for is doggie licking the baby. A part of a dog's natural flora is Giardia. They have the enzymes in their saliva to kill it. We do not. It's a great way to get a massive case of the sh*ts. Not to mention other things they lick... Dogs = wonderful, loving & loyal friends. Doggie kisses/slobbering = trouble. Give him a big hug from me ;-).
awww.. the baby kinda sounds like budoy.lol ;))
